I am a recreational user so my experience may differ from those looking for the medicinal benefits of marijuana, however, I have only had amazing experiences at Apothecare. They are a newer dispensary (I mean, recreational selling of marijuana was pretty much just legalized in Michigan), but I have already seen so much developmental in the few months I have been buying from here. I am a fan of sativa dominant strains and Apothecare always has a nice selection. Do they always have as many strains in terms of quantity as other shops? Not always (it varies though week to week), but I personally feel their quality is superior and ultimately, that is what I want. Plus, they are now organically growing a lot of their own strains! The staff here are also incredibly nice and attentive. I have yet to be able to go inside because of the pandemic, but the curbside service has been phenomenal. Ann Arbor already has seen an accumulation of dispensaries this year, but Apothecare is my absolute go-to. read more

One word: organic! I smoked in Michigan before it was legal, so I saw the rise of the dispensaries all around. A whole lot of chains and big companies in cannabis in Michigan, and also Unregulated practices and people with poor taste. But Apothecare I keep coming back to-- must be all those worms in the soil, and transparent growing practices. They'll get you anything from their strains-- butter, kief by the $10, flower by the gram, edibles or vape. It's a little pricey, but that's how it is at rec stores and if you don't know a home grower. I'd gladly pay the premium to avoid the garbage. It's a nice store, and I hope more places like this that focus on quality and organic pop up. read more

Apothecare is honestly the best. The staff (Jay in particular) are very knowledgeable and passionate about their products. Jay took the time to educate me as well as he could and answer all of my silly questions as a first-time solo buyer. He was very kind and patient. The quality of the MJ is unmatched. I ended up with a few hybrid and indica pre-rolls. I'm working my way through them and can't express enough my satisfaction. Oh, these poor peeps! They cannot get it together at this dispensary. The staff is young and inexperienced and it shows. They forget to bag the product, can't make change, don't listen, don't know their inventory, and lack procedures. That's obvious. I've tried apothocare bc they're local to me, but in my 6 or so attempts to buy medicine there, more than half have gone off rails bc of the above reasons. And each of the additional reviews are *completely bogus* and appeared as soon as I posted my ^ REAL and honest review. read more

When i went to pick up my order it was ready and i wasn't in the parking lot more than 10 minutes. The bud tender had change on him for what i needed. I've done curbside pickup here a couple of times (like 3?), and each time has been great. There was one time when it seemed like the system didn't properly register my order so that I got a text saying things were ready for pickup, but when I went they had it ready. Good mask protocol. I love this place! Whenever I can, I buy organic. Apothecare has certified organics. I'm a patient and I love to know my flower isn't full of pesticides. The budtenders are also really nice and know their stuff. It also has a lot of parking. I love going downtown but good luck parking! LOL read more
