The location is in the Four Square Plaza. You will find them on the right side of Roses. Signage is on the main road sign. The store signage a bit more difficult to view. The parking lot was mostly debris free and walk up tidy. The staff really made the difference at ABC Store #344. I'm not sure why they had four employees in this sleepy location but I was not unhappy as they each assisted me. I found the store bright, well organized and clean. The size may be underwhelming, but they pack a punch in inventory. I found several rare whiskeys and bourbons with limit 1 on the shelf that I could never find in Virginina Beach. The staff was knowledgeable about their booze too! I was immediately assisted by staff who recalled my phone call. She pulled down the rare Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon from the shelf. It was exactly what I had been searching for and drove over an hour for. They even had one in the box. The price of $59.99 was what I expected. Black market it can go for up to $150. Checkout was smooth with my credit card. I would recommend this store and maybe one day will be back. Keep in mind no beer or wine is sold at state operated ABC stores. 4+.

It is nice and bright and filled with items you didn't know you need...from little knives, trivets, gourmet mustard, oils and more. We also enjoyed a $5 glass of wine and sat outside at their little bistro table. They have 3 wines that you can choose from for the $5 pour. We had the Bonanza which I always love. The owner was there and she was absolutely lovely to chat with while we were shopping. We will definitely be back next time! Don't miss it while you are in Cape Charles!
