The selection of wines in enormous! They have chilled wines and non-chilled wines. A few of the surrounding restaurants are BYOB so I stopped in here to grab a bottle. I would come in with an idea of what you are looking for so your not distracted by the selection. I was amazed at the wine tasting machine they have that they said is closed due to COVID. Recently visited and the staff member who assisted us was clearly on something. She went on and on about how she stepped on a piece of glass in the store that cut her foot and she couldn't understand why we brought our dog in...her words were "No dog or person should be walking on this store" She then tried to tell us our membership was not up to date even though it was. Zero stars. Horrible experience. I recently visited the Wine Outlet on Richmond Avenue in Pt Pleasant Beach and had a terrible experience. I mistakenly purchased a bottle of Flowers Chardonnay intending to buy Flowers Pinot Noir. When I returned to the store to request an exchange, noting the cashier failed to give me a receipt when I had checked out earlier, I was met with rudeness and complete unreasonableness from the manager. They flatly refused to help, showing zero regard for customer service or satisfaction. The manager's attitude was not only unprofessional, but also downright disrespectful and rude! I will never step foot in this store again and strongly advise others to avoid it. There are plenty of other liquor stores in the area that actually value their customers. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere. As a year-round resident and now former regular customer.... Beware--stay away from this place. read more

A new one opened at the Whole Foods Plaza in Wall. Getting horrible service reviews on Wall locals page. Because of that I won't go here is one WINE OUTLET POST I just have to say I'm SO disappointed in the lack of humanity and kindness of people. I'm a wall resident and an avid wine enthusiast. Unfortunately I have to say I will never be giving the new wine outlet my business again even though I love the store itself. The display of inconsideration, rudeness and absolute nasty ness of the workers last night left me in disbelief. I witnessed an elderly man probably the age of my grandfather (well over 80) with his mask right below his nose being SCOLDED at from the manager that worked here. Chasing the man through the store, embarrassing him and saying he was and denying him their business. The elderly man proceeded to say im sorry I have terrible asthma and a difficult time breathing I will leave right after my purchase. The man proceeded to throw him out of the store and deny him business. I then saw the woman infront of me in line go up to the counter (her mask was over her nose) the cashier was a young girl probably young 20s following suite of her manager said "mam ALL THE WAY UP" the woman said but it's covering my nostrils and the girl said " we just threw a guy out and we'll do the same to you. It's a law and I don't need to serve you" the woman took her wine and said you guys are unreal and not nice I will not be coming back here. She then shouted to the woman walking out "good because we don't need your business!" I'm floored. Regardless of your stance on masks and medical issues this was a poor display of humanity. No one should treat others this way. I hope they learn some manners and respect for their elders. No need for these manners ANYWHERE. No need to act like the Gestapo! read more

Just left this store. I was kicked out while wearing a top that was not a bikini top, but it was a semi sheer crop top. NOT A BATHING SUIT. I had on high waisted shorts and had to wait on line in order to be allowed to enter the store. (Did not mind waiting at all) (Why would I be allowed to enter if there was a dress code?) I was yelled at from a female worker with blonde hair, and shorter while waiting on line. (Embarrassing and unprofessional) Then another young man in front of me offered to buy the drinks I already had in hand since we had the same exact drinks and realized what was happening. (How did he know I wasn't 21 and of age to buy) This was the second time entering the store during our weekend getaway, and the first time we entered some one whom was a restocker was very rude. Simply because we asked him where the cooler was. I very rarely post on here. This truly bothered me and embarrassed me, we will never return. Only positive thing I can say is that there was a shorter, brunette girl who was so helpful, and non judgmental. In addition, I work at a country club in New York as a bartender for four years. This is not how you "deny service". I could easily play the race card but it's too easy to say that. Let it be known how they treat people as a whole. The best prices on wines for members, worth it if you are a repeat customer. A great selection. And personally, I've always had courteous, efficient service from the manager and all the young cashiers. I don't really want to shop anywhere else for wine at the shore. read more

Great prices, my one stop shop on the island. Better priced compared to the big chain store on the island....

This should be your go to place for all wine needs. I unfortunately drank a specific bottle of Sauvignon Blanc that my son was saving. I needed to replace it and mo one had it but the Wine Outlet did! They were kind enough to check their inventory and put it aside for me. This is a great place with a large and varied selection of wines. They know their stuff and are very customer friendly. read more
