The Wine Cellar and Ridgeview have always been my go to to find new favorites. Both have a wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff. I like the selection at The Wine Cellar just a bit better, though. For me, the big draw of these stops are the single can options. Yea, you can do a pick 6 at Festival, but your adventure will absolute fall short of what it could have been at The Wine Cellar.

This place is wonderful!! I've been in here now twice (would be more if I lived in the area!) and both times I have been very impressed with the selection! This place has it all! You know when you find that one beer you love but can't seem to actually FIND it anywhere to buy? This place has it. You know when you don't know what you want, but you know you want something out of the ordinary from your usual? This place has it! You know when all you want is your regular, trusty, go-to brew at the end of a long day? This place has it! This place has everything! And they have a pretty stellar selection of snacks too! Not just some bags of chips, we're talking meats, cheeses, QUALITY yummy stuff! 10/10 recommend!

There are two places I would recommend for liquor stores in Green Bay, and the Wine Cellar is definitely one of them. A couple of years ago they moved into a bigger store on the same block which really increased their selection for everything! I'm a beer guy and they have a fantastic craft beer selection with plenty of cooler space. Their make your six pack selection is better compared to other stores. Every once in a while I've seen them do sample tastings....BONUS! If you have a question, don't hesitate to ask. The staff are pretty helpful and can help you find what you're looking for.

I go to the wine cellar quite a bit mainly because of their awesome beer selection. And they have salmon.

I was to meet a friend in Green Bay and had about an hour to spare, so I swung by De Pere to find a beer or twelve.

When I finally settle in, there's nothing more I like to do than relax with family and enjoy a nice cold malted adult beverage. A few blocks from Mom's house is Badger Liquor Store No. 2. It's our store of choice. They've got a fair selection of craft beers to choose from and their prices on many 6'ers are about $1 less than what the same brand might sell for in the Mil. My last stop at Badger Liquor yielded an unexpected surprise: I was about to check out with a 6-pack of Shiner Farmhouse Ale and a 22-ouncer of Thumper American Pale Ale. The fellow at the counter placed his hand atop the Thumper and asked "Have you ever had this before?" "No," I replied. With his head slightly ajar and his eye nearest me slightly closed, he says, "I don't recommend it. It's made with liquid hop extract and has an unpleasant, almost oily, aftertaste." Yuck, right? Who needs liquid hop extract in their beer? So, alright, this guy just talked a customer out of a sale. Maybe he would have been better to let me discover the unpleasantness of hop extract on my own. Some people may have said "Thanks!" and left with just the 6'er, but my reply was, "Thanks for the warning. What do you suggest instead?" After a few moments thought, he retrieved a Worthington's White Shield by -- an English IPA. The Worthington's was $1 more and a decent brew. If the Thumper was as bad as suggested, it was a dollar well spent. I'm very impressed that a beer aficionado would be on the lookout to warn and assist fellow aficionados. Well done and thank you, Badger Liquor Store No. 2!

From the moment we sat down for appetizers, she brought such a fun, welcoming energy to the evening. Sara, a Louisiana native, has that natural Southern charm -- engaging and full of personality. Her smile is contagious, and she didn't just serve drinks -- she genuinely interacted with us, joked along with our group, and made us feel like we were the only people at the bar. She was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations (the drink she recommended was so good). She clearly loves what she does. You can tell when a bartender is just doing a job versus creating an experience -- Sara absolutely creates the experience. She helped set the tone for our whole night, and honestly, she was one of the highlights of our double date. If you're heading to Wissota for drinks or appetizers, sit at the bar and hope Sara is working. She'll make your night. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! So ordered the asparagus as a side. The meal was okay at best, nothing impressive for the price. I expected more. I could make a better meal at home. We also tried dessert and the tiramisu was basically a raspberry and white chocolate drenched cake. I will say that the service was decent and they have a nice outdoor patio with a fire pit. But overall, Go somewhere else.
