As part of a birthday party, we joined some friends at Amigoni for the first stop, and we all loved the ambiance (stunning, calm, lovely staff) so much that we stayed over 3 hours! We sat in the back bar/barrel room area (back bar was closed that day), but it was a great space for a larger group to be able to spread out and not take up all the space in the front bar area. The barrels gave the room a cozy feel! I'm a fan of wine, but a lot of our friends are not huge wine drinkers--so while they have a lot of great wine to taste (I'll get to that soon!), they also have local drafts and non alcoholic options for your friends/family members who aren't into wine or who don't drink. For their wines, when I went on a Saturday they had two wine flight options, which the staff said they change about every two weeks! I got the basic flight to get a better idea of their standard wines, and I wasn't disappointed with any of them--and as others have noted, they are pretty heavy with their tasting pours, just FYI! I was able to try the Urban White Blend (chardonnay and viognier), Cabernet Franc Rose (one of their original makes from the early days), Sangiovese, Zinfandel, and the Select (petit verdot and tannat). The space was in a pretty quiet street, across from a pretty non-descript office building. I wasn't expecting too much inside but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the interior had much more personality than the outside. The interior had high ceilings, the bar was on the left and before we sidled up to the bar we explored the space. There was an upstairs space that looked down into the lobby and the rear area had a bar and was also nicely decorated. The rear area had a little more people so we decided to go back up front. We decided to do both of the tasting options and share. I enjoyed the limited production tasting better and the reds over the whites. Like with a lot of tastings, the wine club was pushed but since I was only staying one more day I wasn't interested. However, our host did give us a taste of the T10 which I enjoyed so much that I bought a bottle of that. I shared it with some people who know and enjoy wine and they were also pleasantly surprised with it.

I ended up loving the Vignoles and Caramel Apple the best. I bought two bottles of the Caramel Apple because I was floored by its taste, and fall is in the near future. For our table, we ordered pizza and spinach and artichoke dip. Both were snack-like for us but great in taste. They use sustainable paper products too. We attended a baby shower here this weekend, hosted by a woman who is 36 weeks pregnant, for a guest of honor who is also in her third trimester. Despite the indoor dining area being completely empty--we were literally the only customers in the establishment until 2:00 PM--management stubbornly refused to let our group sit inside. Their excuse? Our "party size was too big." Instead of showing an ounce of flexibility or basic human decency, they forced a heavily pregnant host and her guests to sit outside during an active Heat Warning. It was 93°F outside with a heat index making it feel like 105°F. This isn't just a matter of poor customer service; it's a severe health and safety hazard. Forcing women who are weeks away from their due dates to endure triple-digit heat index conditions while indoor, air-conditioned tables sit completely vacant is downright negligent. It showed a shocking lack of empathy. When we finally went inside just to take a few photos before leaving, it was confirmed that the space was completely unused. To value arbitrary, nonsensical "rules" over the medical safety and comfort of your patrons is a miserable way to run a business. We will never be back, and I strongly advise anyone planning an event to look elsewhere--unless you want a venue that treats its customers with absolute disregard.

The owners lives here and they are retired and turn their beautiful land into something they love to do and that's wine. Really friendly people and we both did a wine tasting. They dry wine isn't as dry and sweet compare to other wineries. Our favorite would have to be the apple pear wine. If you warm up the wine and add some cinnamon spice to it. it's like a warm spike clear cider. Which is very good. They haven't been in this business that long but looking at hardship and hisoty, this is definitely a beautiful area. Also note, they aren't allowed to have a big sign since it is in a residential area, but you can always search this place by GPS and it will guide you, don't let the front discourage you from entering.

We enjoyed quesabirria tacos from a food truck for the first portion of our evening, then got wine slushies for the second part. She got the white sangria flavor and I got the peach. Each came with a little candy on top. Both were sweet and delicious, perfect for us since we don't loveeee wine. Every corner of KC Wine is intentionally designed for you to be able to relax, grab a drink, and chat. There is ample parking, but in a grass lot so be emotionally ready, as well as plenty of seating in a wide variety of choices! They have games like corn hole and giant chess. To celebrate the birthday they had complementary s'mores! I grew up in this area and have since moved away but I wish I still lived here so I could be a regular at this wonderful spot!
