I definitely recommend taking a class at Wine & Design! Such a good idea for a relaxing Girl's Night Out!

She refused to let us change, I absolutely would understand if it was just a day or so before the class but it was weeks! So....go ahead and keep our money but you just lost two customers that would have come back for more classes and I would tell anyone to stay far away from your company! But they really only need to read the reviews here to know what kind of business you're running.

I was impressed with Judy's prompt communication prior to the class. I enjoyed her simplified…read moreinstructions and the interesting facts she provided when we asked questions. However, the energy shifted toward the end of the class when she berated a woman in front of me who was struggling. I felt her comments to the woman were extremely unprofessional and I'd be surprised if the woman didn't leave a negative review herself. I also thought it was unprofessional when Judy snapped at me several times to put my tools down, until I realized it was one minute after the class was scheduled to finish, and that was probably why she was getting snappy. There were two other people in the class who asked if she had a class after ours, and she admitted that no, she just had to get home to do some yard work, but their questions indicated that other people felt she was preoccupied wrapping up the class and cleaning before the class actually ended. It was also difficult understanding the progression of the art without a display piece, and I found myself looking at the original class images on my phone several times to follow the design. Altogether, the first 3/4 of the class was enjoyable, but it quickly went downhill when Judy lost her patience, and I walked away feeling more like a paycheck to her rather than a valued customer. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Pick out your ornament and watch the process. It was a quick but very nice experience to do with my besties at a reasonable price. It's ready for pick up 24hr later. Check it out while in Corning

Our group of 4 had the entire place to ourselves! My experience was the most hands-on. I made a paperweight. I was able to dip molten glass into colors, roll it, pull the glass like taffy, shape it & flatten the bottom. With the instructor at the ready to save you or your project and take over when needed! And they engrave your name and date on the bottom of the paperweight! The rest of the group did blown glass pumpkins. After watching my project they learned the glass blowing is just that. The instructor get the glass, colors it, inserts it into a mold - then brings it to a stand for you to blow. It's kind over in a minute - but the pumpkins are spectacular! My granddaughter made a small pumpkin & the instructor immediately had her make another larger one! The pumpkin stem is made by twisting molten glass around a pipe, so the instructor does that difficult part. The projects need to cure (cool down) to be picked up the next day. What's fun is you can't really tell what the colors are until you pick it up! They sell all types of blown glass objects at a better price than that of downtown shops. Hope you have as much fun as we did. COVID protocols in place for safety.
