We were lucky to visit Fero during their anniversary celebrations. There was an outdoor market and live music that we enjoyed for a while. The tasting room was of good size. We went in to escape the heat and were immediately greeted by a very cheerful staff member. We had a good conversation with her and she was very helpful. They have a variety of wines and I am pretty sure everyone will find something they like. We ended up getting a bottle of their fizzy rose. It was so refreshing and had the right amount of semi-sweetness for us. Played some board games, chilled in a corner on nice cushioned chairs and just had a nice relaxing experience. read more

We stopped by after visiting Niagara Falls. It was right off of the main road which was great. The person that attended me was okay, he wasn't too friendly at first. I purchased 3 wine bottles but after asking about their free wine tasting of the week, I ended buying two more. He was very straightforward about one of them being very dry & telling me I probably wouldn't like it based on mainly liking sweeter wines. He then allowed me to try one that wasn't on their 3 free options and I completely fell in love with it. That was very thoughtful on his behalf. The places was very quiet and very cute. Over all when going by again I would definitely stop for some more wine bottles. read more

Fero Vineyards is a wonderful place to have a glass of wine on a beautiful day. It is a miracle that such a vineyard finds itself in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. It is a wonderful place to sit beneath the broad umbrellas and have a glass of excellent wine with friends. Fero has a replete product line from table to sparkling wines. Their best is their dry Riesling. It has a subtle nose, but a bright, crisp flavor with very little acidity. The Gruner Weltliner is a bit more citrusy and acidic, but still drinkable. In a class with California Chablis. Their Dry Pinot Noir Rose is a nice flavorful wine that would go well with Peking duck or with conversation on the Fero patio. Their best red Pinot Noir has the ridiculous name of Bison Roots Blue. I've had only two bottles of this wine. It is drinkable wine in a class with modest French table wines. Fero has a large dining room for special events or a drop-by glass of wine served with small snacks. I attended several Democratic fund-raisers there and a wedding anniversary party. They have a much larger outdoor covered space for bigger events staged occasionally by the vineyard. As I say, it is a miracle that we have in this small town a vineyard with so many excellent wines and other features. read more

New building, nice & clean, small tasting room, can probably accomodate 6 folks at once. They have a seperate room for events like a wedding, etc., can probably accomodate 50 people or less. I like the decor, bathrooms are nice and clean. Nice quaint outdoor seating area. Wines are good, they seem to have a good selection of dry wines AND sweet wines, so it would satisfy everyone's liking :-). Bottles of wine range from $10.99 to $24.99. You can get 3 tastings for free and 8 tastings for $5.00, if you do the $5.00 tasting you can take your glass home, which in my opinion is is a good deal. read more

Saw the sign on Westbranch Hwy and quickly turned to follow the arrow. At first the area seemed a bit industrial, but as I kept on the road it opened up into a beautiful vineyard and I was glad to see the "OPEN" flag that was flying outside of the entrance. I tried a Reisling, a citrusy white, a chocolatey red, a peppery red, a dry red, and a sweeter blush. They were all great! Being a Florida girl, I enjoyed the white wine that had a hint of citrus in it. Sitting outside was delightful next to the tulips! A kind lady named Susanne was working and she was very knowledgeable about ALL of the wines on the menu. I asked her many questions about wine in general since I am a curious novice and she was glad to explain to me all about the "legs", the "bouquets", and how the wines were made. read more

Fero recently opened a pavilion to host weddings and receptions. My wedding reception was the second one that they have had, which was the first weekend of October 2017. With the pricey cost of holding a reception here I expected a lot out of the venue, however what my family was given was a lot of headache and mistrust. Hopefully Fero will learn with time and other brides will have better experience than I had. My now husband and I started planning our wedding a year ahead of time. In this year long period Fero had 4 different event coordinators. Throughout the time frame we were told many different things, and multiple details were changed even up to a few days before our wedding. Overall there was very little and very poor communication from Fero. I would wait several days to get an email response from the event coordinator, even as much as a week. I understand that she is not full time, however anyone who is planning a wedding knows that it is vital to be in touch with your vendors, especially in the final weeks before the wedding. When I asked Samantha, the event coordinator about the communication issues my concerns were ignored. When she did respond to emails she would often ignore some of my questions or ask me for information that I had already provided to her. When I was given a contract there were about a dozen typos and grammatical errors. I am not an English expert but I easily noticed these errors on my first read through. Given that this is new to them, I expect things to change as they get the wheels turning. However I continued to realize that I was dealing with unprofessionalism when I was told that three weeks before my wedding the event coordinator, Samantha, would not be at my event after promising that she would be when I first met her. Additionally I was not allowed to have the cell phone number of the individual who was to be my "point person" for the day. Working with this venue was the most stressful part of my wedding planning and wedding day. On the day of the wedding Fero made no effort to support the decorating or management of the event. When you host an event at Fero expect to solely be renting a space with a hefty price tag, they do not offer any additional services apart from handling alcohol and will not with hold their promises and agreements. One of the reasons that I chose Fero was because the pavilion was equip with tent like canopy flaps that could serve as protection from rain or wind. The pavilion became very hot once the dancing began and Fero refused to open up the removable canopy walls of the pavilion. They said that our music was too loud so they had to keep them down. This was very frustrating and made myself and my guests uncomfortably hot. Additionally, I question how much these canopy flaps actually impacted the noise and how Fero will continue to hold weddings if they are unable to deal with the noise that comes along with the industry. read more

Very nice winery! Easy to get to, plenty of parking, pricing is good too. The store is very clean and the property well maintained. The two ladies that were working, very friendly and happy to work with us...even took our joking with them. My wife and I like sweeter wines...picked up a Sweet Country Spiced Apple and a Sweet Country Niagara. We tried other wines on the sweeter side, which were good, but bought only the first two. If you're in the area, worth a stop to at least check out and taste a few. We'll be back again! read more

Friend and I stopped in here on a whim and it was close to closing time. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Great wines, we both bought 2 bottles to take home, including a sparkling wine that was very tasty. They have an event space just off the tasting room that would be great for small gatherings. Beautiful property. Wines are decent, but I love the lembergers as they are hard to find & taste great. They have events & tastings there every so often but I've never been because they are a little pricey. However, i like that they give you free samples (6?) when you come in to help you decide what wine to buy, which is nice but not unique...they SHOULD be doing that anyways. I guess I would really love it if this place got a kitchen so that you could sit next to the vineyards & drink a nice glass of wine with a cured meat or cheese plate, a fresh baguette with an assortment of jams, and a variety of nuts & olives. That would put this place over the top & make it something special. read more

Been here numerous times. Riesling is good but not too fond of the new Pinot Noir. Staff quality has decreased dramatically. Loved talking to Susanne who was by far the most knowledgable person there. But since she isn't there, things are much different. read more

My husband and I were married at a courthouse ceremony but needed to have a reception to celebrate with family and friends. After shopping around a bit we chose Fero because the wine is excellent, the venue was beautiful, and the customer service was fantastic. Since we were having a small reception Fero worked with us on our budget and we held the event in the taproom instead of the pavilion which was perfect for us. I loved that we got to choose six different wines so we could accommodate all of our family and friends' different tastes. Samantha was helpful every step of the way and had no problem answering all of my many questions. Savannah was equally great although we only had the pleasure of working with her for about two months before the event. I highly recommend this venue--after doing our due diligence Fero certainly stood out among the other venues in the area. My friend and I came here for a tasting and left very pleased with the service and the wine. Extra tastings were offered and the staff was very nice and conscientious. When my friend got a bug in her drink (from a bottle we purchased) the staff poured her a brand new, full glass of wine. The grounds are beautiful and the price is right. read more

Fero Vineyards was a great place to celebrate my 40th birthday. They treated us to wine tasting and cheese to snack on. The wine was so good we all bought some to take and enjoy later. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for great wine and great times. read more

We recently held our wedding reception at Fero Vineyards. Everything about the experience was exceptional - from the wine to the warm family atmosphere. The owners go out of their way to ensure that every detail is taken care of and that you can sit back and enjoy your event. Our reception was held in late December and the event room was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Our family and friends raved about the wine - particularly the Lemberger and Riesling- and many local guests talked about returning at a later date. Their wines are not to our taste as we enjoy the dry whites such as a Chardonnay. The one time we visited we were greeted by a lady named Susanne. She was so knowledgeable about the wines that they had although we only tasted a few. The other people at the tasting bar were not so friendly so. Since this isn't our area we probably won't be returning. I hope that their other employees are as nice as Susanne. read more

The wine is good and would have bought more bottles if the service was better. The woman working the tasting was at best surly and bored she didn't even try to fake a smile or want to talk about the wine i.e. this is our riesling (end of conversation). Her lack of enthusiasm for the wines and making the customer feel unwelcomed was off putting. After we left we went to Spyglass winery where we were welcomed, felt comfortable and informed. We bought a case of their wine. Service, making the customer feel welcome and not an inconvenience is key to sales. read more
