The quality of the meat here is absolutely superb, and their recipes are genuinely to die for. Without a doubt, this shop produces the best jerky in all of Washington state. When you walk in, you may question if this place is real,.. or a front for something else... actually it's a front.. for a business that could take your freshly kill game, and break it down into all the necessary bits. Yup, they have a butchery service. If that isn't why you are here, it's because of the Jerky, preserved sausage, or the polish sausages. The Jerky is seasoned and tastes of perfection. It's salty, savory, chewy, tender, and all things sexy. They have plenty normally, but I have been told by a local, that they do run out, so if you see something that looks empty, just ask. You wonder why you haven't come here before... well, it might be because it's off the main drag, so you are not going to just drive by it. I paid cash, didn't ask about credit cards, but I think small businesses always appreciate cash, unless told otherwise.

High quality equals exceptional taste when it comes to the salami and other deli meats. So I'm traveling the Highway of Life and wound up in Cle Elum. Having stopped by on a previous trip I finally had my ice chest with me so today was the day to load up ON THE MEAT ! So I stair at the meat board along with the glass case of meats to decide what I needed. Well, I grabbed some Italian sausage for some grilling action later ( and man those links were tasty ) and a pound of sliced homemade salami. The salami was so delicious was made by a pair of Glondo's own hands to add the love to its taste... The daughter was running the counter like a champion and took care of my order.. She was very charming and offered samples of the flesh & banter which I enjoyed. $50 later and off I went with a bag of flesh goodies for my enjoyment. Folks this is a must when traveling to Eastern Washington. Fresh meat is a must and GLONDO'S should borrow the ARBYS slogan " WE GOT DA MEAT " because they really do have it. The owners are so incredibly kind, that they even baked fresh cookies for us on two separate occasions because they'd run out. It's the kind of friendly environment that instantly makes you feel at home and want to give them all your money! I personally didn't love the ube matcha drink, as it was a bit bitter for me, but EVERYTHING else was incredible. The Tokyo fog? Amazing. The ube cookies? Phenomenal. The babe smoothie? I absolutely LOVED it the first time it was PERFECT but the second day it was lighter in color and a bit too sour for my taste. But man that first one was literally something I'll think about forever. We highly recommend the guava pastry, as we have had MANY but this one is definitely something special. The leak and cheese pasty is also amazing. The earl Gray cookie is also sooo nice. Anyway, this place is incredible and the people are magical. Everyone learns and helps get the horses ready before riding. Everyone is really nice. The horses are well-matched to the riders and generally behave well. The pricing is a *fantastic* value. But there are 2 catches: 1) The reservation system appears to be by phone only. There is an email on the site but I'm not sure it works. So it's sort of like 30 years ago. They are very nice, but you will probably have to leave a voicemail and be patient. 2) I'm skeptical that there are ever weekend openings. They seem to host group events on most weekends. So if you just want to take your family it's probably a weekday thing.
