From the second I contacted Space Port, to when Cathy picked us up, and then dropped us off, Space Port was the way to go. Great communication throughout the whole process. Even a follow up call to ensure everything was on. I felt the price for four of us, seven suitcases, and a dog kennel was fairly priced. The sketchy place I called was cheaper, but I needed to be somewhere on time and on schedule. I had no problems with the cost. Cathy was absolute fantastic driver and I was pleased with the trip! I anticipated the company being a little late, you know "island time". NOT AT ALL. Showed up right on time, loaded us up, and off we were. The van and trailer were clean. The trip was smooth and uneventful! I've used other driving services out here on the space coast, but I probably should have been using Space Port all along.

There are tons of transport options from the port to/from the airport, but not as many from the port to Orlando. I did exhaustive research and Space Port Transport was the cheapest option. I'm happy to report that they also provide wonderful service, and I strongly recommend them for any port transportation needs. Two days before the end of our cruise I discovered that our ship debarkation time was one hour later than I had booked for the transport pickup time. I emailed from the ship asking to push the pickup time back, and received a reply within 15 minutes stating that it wouldn't be a problem. Thanks to their quick reply, I could go back to enjoying the cruise rather than worrying about debarkation day. The pickup and drive itself also went wonderfully. With a quick phone call once we exited the terminal, our driver arrived pick us up within a few minutes. Along the way she pointed she pointed out various 'local' bits of knowledge and helped the hour long drive pass by very quickly. Overall the entire experience was great and I'll definitely be using Space Port Transport on our next trip!

With a large RV we were able to navigate the route into the park and into our site. Hookup was easy and we settled in quite fast. Location: Although Cocoa may not seem like a 'happening' location, it was nice and quiet for our stay. Lots of campers/RVs in the park and no noise. Barely seen anyone else to be honest. Bathrooms: Clean every day. Showers: Clean and water was nice and hot Cost: Appropriate cost for the season, which could have been higher since the snow birds are settling in right now and that's when the rates go up. Staff: super friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this park! Call ahead of time to reserve a spot because as we are finding out, places fill quickly.

Pelican's Landing RV Resort is very well managed and extremely neat and clean--each site has a deck or pavered pad with a picnic table with an umbrella and two nice stationary adirondack chairs. They pay attention to every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We love being able to walk down to the dock with our morning coffee (and/or evening cocktails) to meet the other campers or have a nice chat with the friendly staff. And the sunrises and sunsets are amazing. Looks like there might be some good fishing from the dock and we tried out a few kayaks in the river--saw some dolphins. Awesome fun! There is a WalMart and Publix grocery store within a few miles as well as a bait shop and a great little farmer's market just a short bike ride south. Also, be sure to check out the most awesome nature trail called the Jungle Trail. It will take you to Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge which is the first National Wildlife Refuge established in the United States.
