I couldn't recommend these windows more. The Pinnacle Series is incredibly well built, and the wood-aluminum design looks stunning both inside and out. The energy ratings are excellent (as low as 0.28 for picture windows), and every opening operates beautifully. With so many options for style, size, color, and hardware, the level of customization is impressive. Well done Windsor. We went with black interior/black casement and a white exterior frame, and it has completely transformed the look of our 130 years old house. The larger openings, new picture window, and outswing French glass doors have made such a difference - the whole home feels brighter and more open. Large mahogany trims, copper flashing. PS: I honestly don't get the one-star reviews that only complain about delivery delays (especially in the post-COVID period). Once installed, the product itself speaks for its quality. This an update to prior post.... 4 of 7 Revive doublehung windows are riddled with staple holes that were just painted over. Also have another with sash damage that was also just painted over. All 7 show daylight where sill seal meets verticle seal. Not the quality that we paid for but feeling generous so 2 stars. I'll add a few of the many pics. Dropping my generous review down to 1 star and I have reason for it. On all 7 of the Revive windows the aluminum exterior cladding is brad nailed onto windows from the exterior side. This creates 2 issues. 1st..these brads not only can but WILL rust as they are exposed to the elements. 2nd..you CANNOT use steel nail on aluminum trim. Galvanic corrosion will occur (When dissimilar metals like steel and aluminum are in contact, especially when moisture is present, a corrosive reaction (galvanic corrosion) occurs). This is very common industry wide knowledge. I.E. Windsors Windows knows you cannot use steel nails on aluminum but they do it anyways as I'm sure its cheap and fast. These windows are designed and built to fail. Monday I plan to reach out once again to Windsor but I'm sure after seeing how their products are built they will not stand behind their product. I should also added something regarding my issue with my new windows having leaky corners. It appears the leaks are cause by improper fitting side seals. A few locations do not leak and the mention side seal ends at the sill. The leaky areas the side seal appears too long and is folded down onto the sill. This fold in the round seal causes a crease which leaves a gap in the seal. These very poorly built windows are coming out of my house and if we have to fight over the 12k I have into them than so be it. read more

We were encouraged by our window salesperson to purchase Windsor Pinnacle Clad for a very large project (80+ windows and several patio doors). Our order was placed on June 4th, 2024. We were told by our representative that the lead time would be eight weeks. Fast forward to the date our windows were due in their warehouse and we didn't receive notification until after the truck arrived that our windows were not in. Our rep struggled to get answers from Windsor on why we weren't notified in advance so we could plan accordingly and the excuse that we continue to get is "we have a new computer system". It is now 12 weeks since when we ordered, our order is paid in full, and we have less than half of our window order. Both the Windsor sales rep and his supervisor have been less than useless in providing any accurate information and at this point I am preparing to involve legal counsel as this delay is quite literally costing us money. I cannot comment on their product quality or warranty service, but thus far, they have been unprofessional, unresponsive, and I can't imagine that a company willing to pass the blame off on "computer software" will stand behind their product if there are issues. Don't walk, RUN from Windsor. Total joke. read more

Unfortunately this is one of those reviews where I'm putting one star only because I cannot post with zero stars. With Windsor Windows & Doors, I have experienced a new low in customer service and product quality. The original doors arrived late (weeks later than the 8 week lead) and were drilled for the wrong hardware, Windsor agreed to replace. Doors with correct drilling took months to replace; when the replacement doors were finally installed, one replacement door glass was scratched in vacuum space, Windsor refused to replace the door panel/glass and would only agree to replace glass. First replacement glass that arrived was wrong size. Approximately 9 months after the first flawed installation, installers just replaced glass in the door panel and door is all banged up and has nail holes around frame. Installers said they will have to file a "claim" to repair damage they caused in replacement. I have had to send endless texts to Windsor rep in Denver and higher level manager (Olaf Wouters, Ian Hanson) to no avail. These were expensive doors, I paid for new doors, and a year later I have banged up doors and Windsor is refusing to stand by their product and replace the door to rectify their latest mistake. Every door/ window has an issue from being bowed to missing paint, caulking all over the window. I really love my Windsor windows and doors. I have no complaints about the quality and workmanship of these windows. I had checked them out against Pella, Andersen, Marvin and others and found that Andersen has a tendency to leak, Pella went through major class action lawsuits and Marvin was way too expensive. I would look more closely at the reviews that are negative. It appears to me that it is an installation issue that they are describing and not the wood and aluminum clad window. read more

If I could give them a negative star review I would. These people have been nothing but unresponsive, and unsupportive of their products. Unfortunaltely our builder used their products on our new home, and they have been leaking from day one. I have had to reinsulate and use 3m film on the windows from the first day because the windows leak. After numerous attempts to have the warranty department come out and fix the issue, they sent someone to tell me that WINDOWS LEAK, and that's just the way it is. They denied any claim for warranty. I have had a few companies come out to check on window replacement, and they all told me that these windows suck, and Windsor should replace them because they should not leak like that. When we built our house in 2005 our builder put Windsor windows in the entire house. They have always frosted over and then we would get black mold on the bottoms of the sash. They are double hung window which are suppose to be easy to clean, they are not, very difficult to unhitched the window to drop down. The locks have never stayed in the sash. My Windsor glass door is always frosted over on the locks, hinges and frame when we have cold weather. If I would have known how poorly made these windows were I would have told my builder no way! I was told that other manufacturers have a life time guarantee on their windows, when I called Windsor they told me 10 years for the sash and lifetime for the glass. I do not recommend their product! read more

I I hope that you find this review on every platform possible and it saves you from the mess we've been in. Let me start out by saying that communication with this company is nonexistent. We ordered windows early this year. Understandably they were back ordered more than normal due to market conditions. They provided an "exact" ship date. Well that date came and they "missed" the truck. So that put us even farther behind on the entire house. But guess who still has to pay full price for windows? The homeowner! The same person paying the builder more because the windows pushed them back. We finally get the windows and we are missing one window and one transom window. Weeks later we get the one window but the ship date on the one single 36x12 transom is July 10, 2021. They then tell the dealer that it's going to be July 27, 2021. Finally make contact with the territory representative and he ask me to get the order number. Tells me there are several orders missing one or two windows. Tells me that he's going to speed up the process to get them pushed through. Says he will stay in touch. Well here we are July 29, 2021 no transom window, unsure where it is or when it will be delivered. So I have a house that can't have trim, siding, or paint finished over one window. I have spoke to a number of Windsor competitors the past few days to gauge if this is standard across the market. It's not, and they are getting their orders filled within 8-9 weeks and have a guaranteed turn around of 2 weeks if they short you anything. Guess what else? I cannot get in touch with the territory manager or anyone else for that matter. Do yourselves a favor and go with any other manufacturer. ​I'm a trade professional with a lot of experience and ups-n-downs with residential windows and doors. ​ One of the the biggest thing I've learned is that the brand of the window matters, a LOT, actually. Not all windows are created equally and the most well-known brands are not necessarily the best. My 'builder viewpoint' is one of practicality. Whenever I have to deal with a problem after I've completed a project, I'm losing time, and time is $$$'s. Bad windows lose seal and fog, bad doors become hard to open over time, and the some of the lesser-quality newer moving wall systems that open-up the back of your home to the outside can end up a curse if the delicate pivots or lock pins fail. But none of this is inevitable. I can get "The Call" sometimes years after a home is originally sold, and sometimes from a second homeowner that bought one of my projects from the originally buyer, or even the buyer after that. Buyers are increasingly litigious and just like all of the the Homeowner Association/Builder lawsuits of recent years, well, I simply don't need it. That's why I heavily research and choose exterior windows and doors from a (very) short list of manufacturers that: 1) Provide a high quality product at a good price. 2) *actually* Live up to their warranty. 3) Don't have a long list of negative reviews. I like Windsor for alum-clad wood, Essence for fiberglass-clad wood, Kolbe and Marvin for high-end wood and Milgard for vinyl windows and doors. Ok, now back to work! read more

Windsor Pinnacle Windows were installed in 2005 in my new house. By 2011 the paint started chipping off the outside. They would not honor the warranty because the warranty started when the windows were manufactured, not when they were installed. These are horrible windows. Please run away from installing these windows!!! read more
