    DO NOT GO WITH THEM!!! RUN VERY FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Alex (the…read moreowner's son) talks a great game and quotes one thing and after coming to a verbal agreement ....he LATER tries to strong arm you into getting cabinets and countertops when the original quote was for cabinets. You tell them you don't want countertops then he declines the project. What??? You offer both services but because I tell you I only want one you back out. You can't force someone to do what you want. I am the customer!!! They will try to persuade you into a full remodel. Do not allow the showroom to win you over. There are other companies that are better. Go to Melchor Cabinet (www.melchorcabinet.com). This place seems to be sneaky and dishonest. He calls it a "misunderstanding"...no it is NOT. You said what you said. My advice is to NOT GO WITH THEM or to follow up everything on the phone with an email. I would not trust them after my dealings with them. RUN FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***Reply to owner's reply*** No! He failed to address the fact that he declined the job because it will not include countertops. I also want to mention that he later wanted to justify his new reasonings to be that he couldn't do demo and cabinetry because I'm an hour away. What! This is a cabinetry job. This minimally is a $11,000 job. If you want to also add an issue with the distance you should advertise your demographic to no exceed an hour and 10 minutes (distance from my house) because it does not say that on your website. You were mad that I didn't go with countertops so you brought into the distance. I said from the start we preferred Home Depot for countertops. Our initial conversation was cabinets from the start. It wasn't until the showroom where we got into countertops. Do NOT go with this company!!! As I mentioned before, he tries to not take responsibility by calling it "miscommunication." NO! You said what you said. All of this is because you appear to be frustrated because we have gone back to the original discussion which were cabinets! Prospective customers: Do you really want to get yourselves involved in a company that could potentially cause this level of headache. It is more companies out here. Sidenote: Refer to the other reviews below mine. They aren't so good either. Skip the headache y'all.

And about a month after our kitchen remodel was FINALLY done ( that's a whole other review ) we had to pay another electrician to come out and rewire after our microwave blew out. That's when we learned our circuit box is out of compliance. Carlos talked a great game and overall our new kitchen is asthetoc pleasing. Unfortunately we are now dealing with the effects of poor workmanship, cheap materials and dishonest information.

    UPDATE TO THE NIGHTMARE: AS soon as we posted the review below, Paul (Sales/Principal of company)…read morecalled us. He wants to all the sudden make everything right. Wants us to move forward. We asked him to come to our home to view the issues and discuss with us. He came today 6/17, never looked at anything. He is ill apparently, so he sat at one end of the pool and took notes of what we said. He stated they would have a meeting and get back to us. A couple hours later he calls with an offer $2200.00 or he fixes the issues. I said so you are trying to buy us off? Basically! I told him I would have to call him back after speaking with my husband. I call back to let him know we want the issues fixed not his pay off and that we would like to know/scheduled of when the repairs/work would take place. To which he said is impossible but he will do his best. He states everything has imperfections and its not even a big deal. Again, he didnt look at the pool closely and most issues are only seen when you are in the pool, because that's when you can see the complete inside of the concrete, bull nose, trim areas. Only if we sign a NDA would he remedy the items that his crews and him should have take care of already! Actually, never should have been left like this to begin with. I refused to sign the NDA and take down my reviews prior to the work as he wanted. So, we are left with a poor job by Aquamarine pools still. NIGHTMARE!!!!! I honestly cannot believe the reviews here, my husband and I had nowhere close to the experience that others are posting. These have to be paid reviews based on our experience. To date, we still have issues that need to be resolved and as usual Toinette says it's up to the mason guy or up to me to contact their contractor. I have received many rude texts and emails during the entire process from the team, to include Paul (sales) and Toinette as well. Our so-called new pool looks like we have had it for 10 years due to the poor workmanship. We had trenches in our yard for much longer than we should have as they didnt even know they were there supposedly. How did they not know they dug them and left them. Was told pool school Paul would clean up all their trash and fill in our trenches. Of course, when he arrived he laughed and said that's not his job. Toinette said it's just small areas until I sent her pics to let her know what we were actually dealing with. He also laughed when we asked him when we would need to use Jacks magic pink stuff that was listed as a must have item to have. Spent $89 on it and Paul said we don't need it. (they will not take them back so out of pocket here also) I made multiple complaints and not once did anyone come out to look at the nightmare we were dealing with. They blatantly did not care, DO NOT care and are awful at customer service. They get your money and then leave you with a disaster of a pool. We are still left with an unsatisfactory job. There is way too much to even put in this review. I attached pictures and screenshots as proof of our nightmare experience here posted there. Project start date was 4/1/2024. Hopefully no one else receives the same treatment as we did. I really hate having to post such things but this entire experience has left me with many sleepless nights and a lot of stress and I think they should take some accountability for how they have treated myself, my husband and our home. Who wants to have wasted $65K??!!! If anyone wants more information I would be happy to provide.

First with the good...Oscar was very responsive, which I appreciated. He came out to give me an estimate and was on time. He was very friendly and likeable. My concerns were over his professionalism and high-pressure tactics. First, I wanted the wood painted and he said no and "we are not painters" with a little laugh. He eventually agreed to it. Another concern was that he did not want to put his estimates in writing until the contract was drawn up. He was showing me contracts he had with a couple of his customers pointing out they were $50K and $80K deals. I did not feel comfortable with him showing me other customer's contracts. Multiple times he referred to these deals pointing the dollar amounts, which seemed odd I thought. Here's the final straw. He did not want to leave without a commitment. After he took his measurements, answered all my questions, and gave me multiple estimates, I thanked him and said I would give it some thought, but he didn't want to leave. I tried multiple times, but he just stuck around. It felt very awkward. He told me he would give me a discount if I committed that day. I told him I would let him know by the end of the day. Only three hours later, at 3:30pm, he was texting me asking if I made my decision.

    Shock and Awe! We have been in our home for over 17 years…read moreand had been noticing air and heat and noise coming through our two largest windows in our home. We are quite a ways from 1604 yet we could hear the traffic pretty well. Day and night! So we started the process of shopping around for replacement windows last year and interviewed many vendors. we were quoted and listened to many sales people about their products and installations. We narrowed it down to three vendors and brought the sales people back in for a final presentation and quote. Larry Bindel, the owner of First Place Windows, was not only the most thorough but he was also the nicest guy we talked with and he delivered a professional quote. His price was not the lowest but my wife and I liked him and his delivery and we spoke w a few of his customers. We believed and had it proven that Larry really loves his customers and does right by them. Our windows came in when he said they would and the windows were installed from 1:30-6:30 the afternoon we set up. His installers, 2 guys, worked in the heat and did a great job. They laid plastic over everything nearby before they started and then cut the two large windows out and replaced the old with the new. They caulked around the new windows and cleaned up the mess and left. Larry and his son were there also to oversee the job being done. The new windows let no heat in and we cannot even hear our water fountain against the window. The difference is incredible! Silence is golden. Lol. Plus the windows that Larry installs have a much lower bottom window than the other windows we looked at. We liked this because u can see much more. I believe like 85% more. The other windows seemed to be more 60/40 where u could not see as much. Anyway, we loved Larry and his team, the windows, the service and clean installation and very quite and professional manner.
