I signed a contract for window world to replace my windows and do new vinyl siding for my home. They came and measured 3 times for the windows. When the day came to put the windows in the contractor told me they got the incorrect measurements for 2 of my windows. I was confused how this could happen since they measured 3 times but i was fine with it. They then told me i needed to wait 3 weeks for the new windows. Finally they came and put the windows in. Next was my siding. I was told it would take 12-16 weeks for the materials to come in. It was closer to 16. They started the siding and told me they were not siding my entire house. They were doing everything but the front. I then had to show them my contract stating it was the entire house. Two days later they finally admitted their mistake and said they would side my entire house. Except they had to order more material and it would take another 4 weeks. To appease me they gave me free shutters. However they ordered the shutters without asking me what i wanted. So when the wrong shutters showed up i refused delivery. The window world agent said they spoke to my wife about the type (which was a lie). We then had to reorder the shutters. A week later the shutters arrived and of course they only gave me shutters for 5 windows. Not the 7 i needed. Once again they said they spoke to my wife ( and again it was a lie). Finally they reordered the last two shutters which have still not been hung. Back to the siding...Once the materials arrived i had to wait 3 more weeks for the workers to come and do the work. They then told me they finished the job. I had agents calling me for payment before they were even done. They left my house a mess. They did not put light fixtures back, outside cameras, they broke my gate leaving it open which in turn allowed my dog to get loose, they took a panel of fence off and left it on the ground never putting it back. They left holes all over the siding for water to get in. They damaged my roof. Not to mention all the nails, styrofoam, smal pieces of siding that are littered throughout my propert. Wow. I wish I had done my homework on this business. I signed a contract on 9/18 for replacement windows. On 9/24 had a more pressing family issue and found that I needed to cancel the install. Contacted Window World to cancel the install, just to get a text from the crooked sales person stating i had three business days to cancel. The third day was midnight the night prior to my notice. He appeared to be so proud of himself that he sent me a copy of the cancelation paperwork in a text. Now this looks like a buy here pay here lemon lot tactic. Please do your homework. read more

Triple slider removed to place screen and it starts to leak on the bedroom below. Third install still leaking as the gram is all banged up. Nicholas Lunch, the apparent manager at WWWP doesn't want to believe it's his door that I water tested, and my roofers water tested, demands an independent leak detector that I have to pay for Well, no surprise, $350 later and leak detector confirms leak from door. Fourth install comes and goes and low and behold STILL LEAKING when checked with water test of slowly flowing water to the track of the door only. Leak below starts 1 hr later and stops 1 hour after removing the hose. So. What does Nicholas Lynch have to say? Here's the cut and paste of his response to the leak " here is the truth. It's not the door thats leaking I am 100% certain after this installation that it is not the door that is leaking there is another problem going on that you will have to get to the root of but it has nothing to do with the installation of that sliding glass door, " STAY AWAY FROM WINDOW WORLD WEST PALM AND CENTRAL FLORIDA PS. How hard is it to install a door? It's required at least four visits since we've failed inspection twice. I think we originally ordered this door in March. So it's been a full five months..............instead of 4-6 weeks. Despite them taking the measurements they manufactured the wrong size door. Strike one. Two months later. They don't bring the hardware we ordered with the door so they ran to Home Depot and bought cheap old kwikset. Fail inspection. Strike two. "Fix" the door and schedule another inspection. Fail. The reason I'm writing this review is that, many years later, a problem developed. They stood behind their product and replaced the window professionally, courteously, and free of charge. It's so frustrating and we try to be kind always but NO ONE calls us back and we can never get through. Please explain, how does this keeps happening? Stay away 21 windows contracted and installed by WW this July in Winter Springs. The good: Salesman was knowledgeable Windows arrived on time Installers and helpers arrived as scheduled The not so good: Installation took two days (expected) but the installers left trash and equipment all over our home when they left for the day on the first day They trampled several of my Shrubs during the install. I was told I had to deal with the installer to address this, was not aware he was a sub contractor. Found 4 screws and broken glass in the driveway waiting for my tires They installed all 21 windows without using a level, rule #1 for any certified window installer they must be square to work properly. Obviously this is part of the reason the windows are hard to open. All but 4 windows are very tight to open, no where near how the sample opened. I was told to use pledge to make them slide better. Marginal improvement. All the Window glass was not cleaned, inside and out. I was told I had to do that, my $16 000 did not include cleaning. Charged me for "bucking" should it be needed and told me they would refund if they did not. First time I asked the installer, they said they used it for all 21 windows, $1,500 worth. Then when I finally was able to speak to their "manager", Richard, he checked and said they only used it on 6 windows. I told them to come out and show me the windows, then the story changed again to not using bucking at all. Be aware, I have concerns that this is a problem on every install as most people do not know what bucking is. Email me! The county inspector came and failed two of the windows due to their pressure ratings, I have heard nothing since the inspection and the inspectors office notified WW of the issue. Made 4 calls to them before anyone would talk to me about these issues, spoke to Richard who said he was like a district manager and could not do anything about the problems other than credit me for the bucking they did not use. Save your money, your peace of mind and do not do business with this company. Even a call to their corporate office has not changed their behavior. May 2022 - Reached out to Window World for a free in-home estimate. Was given the date of May 25 for our appointment. Ended up purchasing 12 windows and 2 doors all hurricane rated. October 13th - Received a call from Window World Scheduling Department want to set up a day for the window installation as our windows had arrived. A date and time of Monday October 31st between 9am and 11 am was set up. This was further backed up by an email from Window World with the same date and time on it. October 31st - They did not arrive on time but arrived close to 1pm at my house over 2 hours after the latest time for my appointment. By the time they were done with our installation it was 1:30 am Tuesday morning. They said that had driven in from Tampa which is on the other side of Florida to do this job. November 1st - Due to the late hours that this installation ran into my husband and I did not notice the issues we were to find the following day after the installation. I called Window World of Orlando about the issue. They said someone would be in touch with me. No one called. November 10th - Called Window World of Orlando again about missing keeper and windows not functioning correctly. Spoke with Frank. He would look into getting the keepers for the windows, replacing window screens and getting someone out to fix sash issues. Will call me back before the end of the week. He did not. November 14th - Called Frank at Window World of Orlando to see when someone would be out to fix the windows. He had not contacted anyone about the issue. He does not know when anyone can come out to fix the issues or when the parts will be in. November 17th - Got a call from Window World of Orlando, someone will be at our house on Tuesday November 22nd between 9am and 11am to fix the issues with the windows. November 21st - Worker from Window World of Orlando, just showed up at my home to do window repairs just as I am getting ready to run some errands. Mind you no one from that office ever called about this change in plan. He was told by the Orlando office to come out. Called the Orlando office and no one answered the phone. Left a message asking for them to return my call. They did not. November 28th - Jose from Window World of Orlando came to my house after 5pm wanting to do the final inspection on the windows and doors. No one called me about this. He then wanted me to set up a date and time for county inspection. December 1st - Window World of Orlando called at 8:13 am to set up a time for the County Inspector to come back out to reinspect the windows and doors. I told them that Jose had been out on Monday of the same week and had me sign a paper for the time and date. They said they never got it so we needed to schedule a new one. December 9th - Called Window World of Orlando, got voicemail, left message for Nicole whose name is given on voicemail to call me back to set up date and time for the finishing touches to complete installation of windows and doors since they passed inspection. December 14th - Missed a call from Kevin at Window World of Orlando by 1 minute. Called back the Window World of Orlando's office, was put over to Kevin's voicemail but was not able to leave message as it was full. I called him several more times but he would never pick up the phone. December 15th - Called Window World of Orlando to speak with Kevin. Was told Kevin is a manager and had just gone into a meeting. Left a message for him to call me back. He never did. December 19th - Called to speak with Kevin, got his voicemail and a message he was out of town until December 20th due to a family emergency. I called back and got Jasmine, told her Kevin had called me but I have been unable to get him to find out what it is he needs to speak to me about. I also told her I need to get a date and time scheduled to finish up the windows and doors plus get the debris hauled away. She told me the scheduling department is down to one person due to everyone going home sick. The person in scheduling would call me back that day. She did not. December 20th - Called Window World Corporate. Spoke to Rebecca who took my complaint. December 21st - Received a call from Zack at Window World of Orlando. They had received my complaint. I went over with him what the issues were and the fact that his company has a problem with communication within as well as with its customers. He said there was no easy fix for the stripped screws in the keepers. Putting new ones in may cause the vinyl to be further damaged. They are 8 weeks out on getting people to finish up the window and door jobs. He promised me he was going to reach out to the scheduling department and get back with me before the end of the week. My experience started with a request online in early March. I received a call that same evening, very quick. The representative called to schedule an in home visit. I scheduled when I knew I would be home. The day before my appointment I received a text message instructing me to a website to pick a door I would like. It was a bit overwhelming, so many choices-- which was fine. I took my time and went through the selections and narrowed it down to 5 different styles. I screenshot each door and sent it to the sales rep. He told me he would get back to me with the quotes. He then told me that was basically my visit and he would come in person when I've decided on one door to sign the contract. Again, that was fine, but not my expectation. Shortly after, we went into the pandemic quarantine (end of March), I receive quotes for 2 of the doors. In order to make my decision I really wanted the prices of my top two favorites, but he said he couldn't give me the quote at that time and would get back to me. The rep went ghost, I understand since we were in a pandemic. So I hung tight. Fast forward to May, I re-requested a quote online and just like before, the representative called on the same day for an "in home visit" -- I explained my situation. Then she said "your sales rep was DJ and right now he's at another 'in home visit' and will get back to you when he is finished." Here I am writing this review, no call back, no text, no follow up. After monthly calls identifying a problem screen and asking when a fitted screen will be installed, Window World finally showed up with a new screen. Not surprised, they had order a new screen the size of the original one that fell out as it did not fit. After spending thousands of dollars to get windows I would live with the rest of my life, their fix was to place a rubber insulation seal on the end to hold it in place. When I first identified the problem, I asked that they come out and measure the window to ensure a proper fitting screen would be provided which they didn't do. Window World is happy to rig their windows/screens instead of providing a finished product they can be proud of. I'm sure they wouldn't want to show my finished product to a potential customer. read more

This will be a fairly detailed review but for a synopsis, stay away from Window World. Damage to drywall and windows, missing components, debris left everywhere and poor communication throughout the process earns them 1 star. We ordered windows and a sliding door through Window World back in August of 2022. We compared several companies but ultimately went with Window World because of the price and the warranty. I wish I could go back in time and change that decision. Originally, we were told the windows would arrive sometime in November. Received a text message saying the windows would arrive in February 2023. Not ideal but understandable given the current economic climate. Then we receive a call from Nicole the week of Christmas saying our windows will be installed December 27th. Once again not ideal since I would be spending the day after Christmas taking down blinds but a welcomed surprise since we thought the windows wouldn't be installed till February. Two crews came out to install 28 windows and a sliding glass door over two days. The sliding glass door never made it and even as I now write this review, Window World has not given any updates as to what is happening with the sliding glass door. I was told by one of the crews that our original windows were installed incorrectly and they didn't know how to get them out. I later found out from another inspector and contractor (both not with Window World) that there was nothing wrong with our windows and that the crew doing the install was just incompetent. After installation we now have damage to every window frame, drywall and sill. Damage to drywall was carelessly filled in with caulk in hopes we would not notice. There are windows that have an inch of gap between the window and the frame. Spray foam was not used by the installation team. Only copious amounts of caulk. Debris was left on our roof and throughout the home. It is the 9th of January and after speaking to Nicole, Erika and Kevin we still have no idea where our sliding glass door is and when it will be installed. Furthermore, according to window world, since the windows and sliding glass door were on the same permit, an inspector can not sign off on the work until the sliding glass door arrives. Also to note, after installation and numerous calls to Window World, I was finally directed to Kevin who was the supervisor. I was told by Kevin that he would be handling everything personally and would have people out to clean the debris and give me a status of the sliding door within 48 hours ago. Even gave me his cell number and told me to text him when needed. Well, that was a week ago and he has not responded to a single text or email. I can only imagine how difficult it will be to deal with Window World if I ever need to use our warranty. Window World's execution and communication are some of the worst I've experienced. Window World Orlando seems very good at taking orders but very poor at actually filling them. They were supposed to arrive 'first thing in the morning' yesterday to install new windows at my house. By 11:00, they hadn't shown up, they hadn't called, they hadn't sent me an email. I called them. They said they didn't have an installer but would arrive 'first thing in the morning' the next day. Same story. No installer, no call, nothing. So I called again. Got another promise for delivery. We'll see. When they finally did arrive after missing two appointments, the installers were professional and competent, and the windows look good and work as they should. So, in June 2022, WW finally replaced the entire window for a bedroom. That was the last of the installation process so now we were ready to go to inspection. All I needed was for WW to send copies of all photos taken of the window boxes along an affidavit for all windows. That was June 2022. The permit w/the city expired June 30, 2022 so I had to call to have them get it renewed. I still hadn't received photos/affidavit so asked again. Aug 22, 2022 - I still hadn't heard anything so I called again. Permit was not yet renewed still and was told Martha would contact the city for a permit extension. Also said I still had not received photos/affidavit Sep 8, 2022 - Called to ask where photos/affidavit were. Had to leave a voicemail Sep 14, 2022 - Called again as no one had called me back and asked where the photos/affidavit were. Verified my email and mailing address with them. Left for a 3-week business trip overseas Oct 6, 2022 - Back from my business trip and NO photos/affidavit. Demanded they be sent immediately. Also, a pool screen panel they had temporarily repaired back in Oct 2020 (original install date) was torn during the hurricane. Demanded someone come asap to repair. Scheduled for Oct 18 Oct 18, 2022 - Called again re: NO photos/affidavit. Spoke w/Erica yet again who said they'd be sent right now. Screen repair person had not shown up. Was told it had to be rescheduled for Oct 20. Oct 21, 2022 - Screen repair person still did NOT show and still NO photos/affidavit. Spoke w/Jamie who said a repair person was literally leaving their office right now (10am) and would be there within an hour. Also, I yet again told them to NOT use my wife's cell #, to use mine. Gave my cell # again. Wife just called me and said the repair person had called HER (not ME) and said he'd stopped by another job first and would tomorrow be ok? NO! It won't be! Received photos via text message and there were NOT my house! And affidavit only showed one window not 9. Was told someone would be by tomorrow to take new photos since they lost mine, apparently. Window trim has to be removed and hoping no damage or breakage will occcur. read more

Newest problem, I have oversized windows and they used they 400 grade which is the cheapest on 52x 62 windows, 4 of my sashes are coming apart. I called the CSR took the model numbers so the sashes can be replaced. No call back, I have no idea if they are ordered, AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME $50.00 TO COME OUT TO LOOK AT A WINDOW THAT WAS MADE BEYOND WHAT THE WINDOW CAN HANDLE!!!! Guess what this company puts plastic in the vinyl so that why the exterior molds! All-vinyl replacement windows have window frames and sash frames are made of extruded polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The same durable plastic polymer used to manufacture countless building products, including plumbing pipes, electrical wire insulation, exterior house trim, siding, and doors. They installed around 20 windows. Half of them will not close completely or lock. We have been in contact with the sales person, Mark, since October 12, 2022. He gave us number to service office, but no one answered, and could not leave a message, as VM was full. In November 2022 called sales person again letting him know we have had zero response from sales office. February 2023 Someone finally called from the service number. Asked for the serial numbers from the windows, which we provided. And then, crickets. Messaged the sales person a few times after. Zero response. So. If you want windows installed you can close and lock and have service treat you like someone that matters, DO NOT use Window World! read more

Salesman arrived on time, boasted about how Window World out-does the competition. He supposedly had his own window business but couldn't beat them, so he joined them. He was on the cocky side, almost like, I know you're going to use us, so let's see that down payment. I didn't want to use them because he seemed almost arrogant. My wife liked him and they did come in with the lowest price, so called him and put down half of the balance to get things going. He said there was a 12-14 week wait time because materials were backed up. We weren't in a hurry, so we didn't mind. After about 8 weeks, I received a call, saying the Windows were in and when would we like to schedule installation. That's where everything went downhill. The workers showed up on time and only one of them could speak English....barely. I didn't care, as long as they did a good job. They ripped out the Windows, put in the new ones (5 out of 6 total) and were sitting on the. Ack of their trailer for probably an hour and a half. Finally, someone else showed up and said he's been asking around and trying to find the 6th window but nobody knew where it was. Thankfully, they didn't take out that window because it was a huge picture window. I figured, ok, no worries just let me know when it comes in. We were told by the salesman, that they would frame around the kitchen window, because it was a garden window and no one installs those anymore. We had to settle for a crank out window. When I went to survey the installation before the workers left, the one in charge told me that we could get some caulk and paint to cover up the exposed wood and holes where the stucco was, after they ripped out the window. I told him no, that will not fly, to have the salesman give me a call. Very bad workmanship. The next day, they charged the balance of the job ($2400) without finishing the picture window. My wife called to complain that they have no incentive to come back because they already got the full payment. The person on the phone was EXTREMELY rude and said she was being "nice" to us, by putting $500 back on our credit card. The window that was MIA, was over $600 with labor. We were highly pissed off, but we didn't want to rock the boat until they were done and made things right. They called about a week later and said the window was in. They came out, ripped out the old window and put the new one in. They also framed in the kitchen window since I complained to the salesman. I went out to look at it but it started to downpour. From what I could tell while getting soaked, it looked good. After it stopped raining, I went out to look at it again. They must've used 50 pounds of caulk around the picture window. There was also some damage to the stucco and a 2" gap where the caulk wilted in the rain, so then I had a 2" hole in the seal around the window. I emailed the salesman and he said he would come out to look at it. He showed up and looked like a beaten dog. The same person that was so cocky when he sold us the Windows, was now looking like he's been through the ringer. He shared with me that window world can't keep employees in the office, people are quitting because customers are calling and complaining and they can't handle it, so they quit. He agreed it was a crap job and said he would talk to "the office" and let them know they needed to get someone out here to fix it. Later that day, the inspector came out and failed the picture window because of the 2" hole in the seal. About an hour later, I received a call from the office. She wanted to know exactly what the issues were so they know what to do when they get here. I explained it to her and that I also had sent the salesman pictures. When I told her the inspector just failed the picture window that morning, when she hung up, I could hear her say "wowwww" as she was hanging up. They have either had a bunch of inspections not get passed or it was another job gone bad. That was over a month ago and I still have not heard from them. I've tried to contact the salesman but he has not replied. The 2" hole is now 2 FEET long, due to the heat making the caulk shrink. Bottom line, believe the reviews for this company. I wish we would've used someone else. Nothing but headaches after they got their money!!! read more

When I called to ask about parts they could have cared less, all they cared was is it under warranty which I didn't know and didn't care, I just wanted to buy the parts. Window world won the bid for our job. They were on time. It took 9 hours and they had to borrow my ladder and they didnt have a saw blade. When the job was finished we had a cracked sill and a lot of caulk. There was damage to the drywall as well. The tech promised it would be fixed by the weekend. It's been 3 Months! Do yourself a BIG favor and get your windows elsewhere. The sales person acts like he knows what he's doing but he doesn't know how to measure windows! WW will not take any responsibility for their sales person's incompetence. After the sale, there is NO customer service. They are extremely unresponsive. It's nearly impossible to get a return phone call and when the manager calls you back, he will only make excuses. That is my experience. This is THE WORST COMPANY I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Their customer service is awful and after spending hundreds of dollars they still couldn't get the job done right. We order 15 screens to be placed on all 15 windows that were ordered through them. They delivered and installed only 13 window screens. I called to ask where the other 2 screens were and was greeted very unprofessionally and the attitude of Jamie (woman who answers the phone), needs to be corrected and re-trained, horrible manners. She also made it seem as if I were lying about the two missing screens, so I will post the windows that are missing screens for everyone to see. Update: I finally received a response from Window World of Orlando in January after posting complaints on other sites. They did come out to address some of the issues I wrote about below. They removed the debris that we paid to have removed in the initial contract. They did fix the window screens and did look at the stripped out screws on the slider windows. According to the technician they whole center panel of the window will have to be replaced because the vinyl once drilled into cannot support anymore screws. Now for the other items that have been found and those that have not been addressed. We have seen no change in our monthly payments even though we are paying for a door screen that we decided we did not want. We told the salesman that and it was not delivered nor installed yet we are still paying for it in our monthly payments. That door screen cost $178.00 We also have noticed how poorly these windows were constructed. See the pictures. May 2022 - Ordered 12 windows and 2 doors all hurricane rated from Window World of Orlando. October 13th - Received a call from Window World Scheduling Department want to set up a day for the window installation as our windows had arrived. I was asked if Monday October 31st would be good. I said yes and was given an appointment time between 9am - 11am that the installers would arrive. October 31st - Did not show up on time. They arrived close to 1pm at my house over 2 hours after the latest time for my appointment. By the time they were done with our installation it was 1:30 am Tuesday morning. They said that had driven in from Tampa which is on the other side of Florida to do this job. November 1st - Due to the late hours that this installation was completed my husband and I did not notice the issues we were to find the following day after the installation. Broken glass, debris that was not taken but we paid to be taken away. Poorly manufactured screens and missing lock keepers on some of the windows. November 9th - Windows fail county inspection. November 10th - Called Window World of Orlando again about missing keeper and windows not functioning correctly. Spoke with Frank. He would look into getting the keepers for the windows, replacing window screens and getting someone out to fix sash issues. Will call me back before the end of the week. He did not. November 14th - Called Frank at Window World of Orlando again. He had not talk to anyone about getting the issue fixed. He does not know when anyone can come out to fix the issues or when the parts will be in. November 17th - Got a call from Window World of Orlando, someone will be at our house on Tuesday November 22nd between 9am and 11am to fix the issues with the windows. November 21st - Worker from Window World of Orlando, just showed up at my home to do window repairs just as I am getting ready to run some errands. He was told by the Orlando office to come out. Called the Orlando office and no one answered the phone. Left a message asking for them to return my call. They did not. No one came on Tuesday November 22nd. November 28th - Jose from Window World of Orlando came to my house after 5pm wanting to do the final inspection on the windows and doors. I was never given notice of this plus the reinspection by county had not been done. December 1st - Window World of Orlando called at 8:13 am to set up a time for the County Inspector to come back out to reinspect the windows and doors. This after Jose had asked me for same thing on Monday Nov. 28th. December 9th - Called Window World of Orlando, got voicemail, left message for Nicole whose name is given on voicemail to call me back to set up date and time for the finishing touches to complete installation of windows and doors since they passed inspection. December 14th - Missed a call from Kevin at Window World of Orlando by 1 minute. Called back the Window World of Orlando's office, was put over to Kevin's voicemail but was not able to leave message as it was full. I called Kevin several times but he never answered his phone. December 15th - Called Window World of Orlando to speak with Kevin. Was told Kevin is a manager and had just gone into a meeting. Left a message for him to call me back. He never did. December 19th - Called Window World of Orlando to speak with Kevin, got his voicemail and a message he was out of town on personal business until December 20th due to a family emergency. December 19th - I called back and got Jasmine, She told me the scheduling department is down to one person due to everyone going home sick. The person in scheduling would call me back that day. She did not. December 20th - Called Window World Corporate. Spoke to Rebecca who took my complaint. December 21st - Received a call from Zack at Window World of Orlando. They had received my complaint. He promised me he was going to reach out to the scheduling department and get back with me before the end of the week. He did not. read more

Window World is probably the worst company we've dealt with while remodeling our home. They would take your money and you would never hear back from them again. The largest window they installed started leaking every time it rains and of course the worst was during the last hurricane. We were up all night emptying containers full of water coming from that window. My husband has made multiple phone calls and sent emails and nobody cared to respond and address this issue. When they first finished the job, we had issues with multiple windows - one of them fell in my hands when I tried to open it. WORST EXPERIENCE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. It has been a YEAR since we signed a contract with them and our windows are still not completed. This is NOT due to supply chain shortage because of COVID but like some of the other reviews have said they have horrible customer service, communications, staffers, and dysfunctional operations. The only reason they are listed as 4-5 starts overall is probably because they are doing some PR cover up to bribe people to submit reviews in return of something or these reviews could be completely fake. Don't disregard these one star reviews if you want to have emotional stress and windows INCOMPLETE AFTER A YEAR. Below is my experience and timeline of events: Before signing, sales rep said the project should be completed before February since we were giving birth to our second child and did not what the dust and noise while she arrived, dated February 8, 2022. Was born on January 30, 2022. First installation didn't take place until February 8, 2022. Was told by sales rep that we would not be charged the remaining amount until the job was completed but each time they installed we were charged even if they had not even completed the job or was unsatisfactory. In the fine print. Was told by the sales rep that he would be on-site when project started but did not come by once to help with project management. P.s. Main installer did not speak English, language barrier. Translator could only translate so much. Great guys but not the experience we were hoping for. Some windows received were completed and dated before first installation but was not brought onsite to be installed. They were installed at a later date and then found out they are wrong size. Sales rep also said it would take 1 -2 business days max to complete the project based on weather. It has now been a year. September 30, 2021 - Signed agreement October 7, 2021 - First transaction charged for 50% deposit fee. February 8, 2022 - First scheduling for installation of windows. Did not have all of the windows to complete full installations. Missing 2 bathroom windows and garage windows. After the installation of other windows, a couple of the windows are not functioning properly, so a new order for window replacement parts was supposed to be ordered. Signed an Incompletion Certificate without an amount allocated for $0 (blank) but was still charged on February 14, 2022. March 28, 2022 - Installers scheduled to come back to complete windows. Had to reschedule due to their scheduling conflict or maybe didn't have all the windows. April 25, 2022 - Installers scheduled to come back to complete windows. Came on-site but STILL did not have a complete set of windows. Made them reschedule to install windows since they did not have all of the windows to install. Missing garage window. They asked if they can leave the windows in our garage to be installed next time when they have the garage window, we approved this. Noticed that windows were dated in December and in early 2022 for the manufactured date but just now getting installed. June 27, 2022 - New installers came to install windows. They installed the garage and one bathroom window. They did not realize they were installing the bathroom windows and thought it was just the garage window. They told us that the screws that the other installers used are not the right size and that would not pass inspection. They also said the bathroom window was already making weird noises and sticking before installation and when they installed it did not fit properly with huge gaps. We do not have an incomplete certificate for this day of installation but then was charged the remaining amount for our job, which was incomplete. July 11, 2022 - Installers, came to remeasure the Windows. He noticed issues with the kitchen window and that the screws were not locking to the side walls. Sash does not pull down all the way. September 9, 2022 - Scheduler called to schedule time for installation but still did not have a full understanding of all that needed to be done. September 16, 2022 - Regional Installation Manager called to understand what all needs to be completed for our project. Not sure why they don't have this record as the customers should be accountable of keeping track and notes of all that is working or not working. Said he will be our POC moving forward and will make sure our job gets done the next round of installation. Said he will make sure everything is accounted for based on our conversation when realistically he should've spoken to the installers to understand what is needed for ou project. His opinion was that we only need balancer fixed for kitchen and bedroom window and new frame for the bathroom and then the window we have on-site needs to be installed. This was not the case. If you read one review and take it to heart, let it be this one. I have held off on writing this review out of genuine fear of retaliation from this contractor that had been holding me hostage financially and also has my address on file, however I refuse to be intimidated any longer. Do not use Window World of Orlando, they will take your money, avoid your calls and do an incredibly poor quality of work on your install and then do absolutely nothing to fix the issue. My contract with Window World of Orlando started in July 2021. The salesman came and gave us a quote and sold us on them with their manufacturers being in the United States and how it allows them the best turn around times and customer care. He told us the time frame would be 12 to 16 weeks, with a mid December install time. That all sounded great, we put half down and called it a day. Mid-December rolls around and we haven't heard from them, so I call and leave a message. No response for a week, I decide to call until I get someone, in total it took me two weeks to get a hold of someone who finally told me that my windows were delayed until March, and it wasn't their fault or responsibility, this will be a recurring theme. Mid-March comes around and I spend another two weeks trying to contact Window World, with absolutely no answers. Finally I went online to ask for a free quote and wouldn't you know it I had Window World on the phone within 15 minutes. I told the sales person what was going on and several days later i got a call from someone claiming to be a manager, the first thing he told me was they were having problems with their phone system, which is weird because they were working fine when they thought I wanted a quote, and, after a lengthy conversation, he explained that my sliding glass door failed Quality Control at the factory so it would be another 4 to 6 weeks before my windows could be installed. About a week and a half after that conversation I got a call from Window World, all of my windows were in and ready for an install! I questioned about the sliding glass door and they said that it was there and ready to go, we set the install date for the 15th of April, I took time off work and was excited to get this project finished. April 15th comes, the installers show up, start installing windows, half way through the day the installers realized they did not have my sliding glass door, and that 4 of my windows were measured and built wrong. Long story short I did not pay them, they left later in the evening, having "finished". Window World's definition of finished is 4 windows missing, no sliding glass door, a window installed with a broken lock and a window that hasn't been caulked, and a window that is missing its sticker that is necessary for inspection. For anyone keeping track this is a failure rate in excess of 50%. They did at least come out to fix the lock but did little else to right the situation. I eventually got quoted an install date of July 15th for the remainder of the windows. The day before the scheduled install they called me and said they did not have my windows. No further explanation given. Following this point I hired a lawyer. I had another attempted install on August 28th, I took time off work to be at my condo for the install. The installers did not show up when they said they would, and after showing up, they once again found that they did not have the correct windows for the installation, again. This was attempt number 3 and they have accomplished nothing. In addition to this review I have also taken the time to share my story with local businesses and community groups, and anyone who will listen as well as with my HOA at the condo, which is great because pretty much all the condos need new windows.
