Glenn wrote a detailed statement of work and had a quote ready quickly. He walked us through the process and informed us when he would be at the house. We have a few more handy man jobs that we need taken care of at the house and we certainly trust Glenn for the projects. We had a great experience and I would highly recommend.

Bathroom Restoration Impossible---Accomplished. Before we hired CKH my guest would use the bathroom…read moreat Wawa down the street for fear of perhaps falling through the floor while using my toilet. As was my fear also. My Vanity was outdated and we kept a plastic container under the pipes to catch the water. It was embarrassing! Charlie removed the toilet the vanity and the floor. He reinforced the beams under the floor and it took two days to repair the mess under the floor from decades of neglect. He replaced the floor and a myriad of things. To make this long review shorter, I now have a beautiful bathroom That is beyond my expectations. Charlie is a Licensed, Experienced, conscientious professional, who does nothing half way. We will be seeing him again. Thank you Charlie!!!

This was our first project with Lee and Finest Fix…read more I sent out a quote request via Yelp Projects and Lee got back to me on the same day with their rate of $95/hr + materials. I inquired on how long the job would take based on pictures I sent over, and he replied "an hour max, and it will probably be a couple screws and glue" Communication was OK overall. Lee contacted me on a Monday and asked for the address, email and phone number and asked about my availability for the remainder of the week. I didn't receive a response to my reply, so I had to follow up the next day. We were able to get the job scheduled for the same Friday and his team came to complete the project utilizing a lockbox we provided. I didn't receive any updates during the job, which probably would have helped the surprise of the invoice I later received that was $232.35 when I was expecting something closer to $100 based on our first conversation. Lee did promptly reply and let me know that they thought they would hit a stud but since there was nothing, the job was more complicated as they had to create the support. Overall, still a solid experience and I would still consider using Lee and Finest Fix in the future.

I didn't go in with my father as I am disabled and he said I didn't need to go inside with him. When he got into the car he didn't have the picture frame no picture. I asked him where they were and he said they told him he had to leave them and they would finish it for him and he could pick up the picture tomorrow. Then, while we were driving home I asked, how much did they charge you for the glass? $65! I couldn't believe he said $65. I wanted to go back and get the picture frame back but he said they were going to finish the framing for him. The next day my mother and I went back and he told me $65 and my mother told him that was excessive, & he just said $65! So I asked for a military discount. At first he just repeated the $65 then he said $50. Stills total ripoff and the framing wasn't completed as expected. He said we just do glass we don't frame. I'll never recommend nor use them again for anything. Took advantage of the elderly and the veterans. Disgusting!!!

Mr. Jim Kelley is the most extraordinarily-skilled finishing carpenter you can ever hope to find…read more Someone at the Tague Lumber showroom in Malvern recommended him as the best around, and Jim in fact is the one who did many of the expert installations in their showroom. Jim built a beautiful built-in bookcase in my house and installed cove crown molding in several of the rooms of our 1888 house, along with a picture rail in one of them. He did an absolutely expert job (despite the variations in the ceilings and walls) for a very reasonable price. Jim is kind, calm, honest, mature, and professional and is an excellent communicator. When my wife and I get ready to redo the kitchen and bathroom, he is the one we will call. Highly, highly recommended.
