I have asked him to do a 4 room job in June without meeting him. Based on my experience with dealing with painters, cancelling, not showing up without a call or showing up 2 hours late for an estimate. We just had 2 painting groups for the same job, because the first group. Painted our ceilings bright yellow. And the walls a very dark, deep grayish blue. I had the containers marked with the color sample cards with directions as to what paint goes where! The problem was they did not read or write English and were using phones for their needs for translation! He removed the popcorn ceiling not knowing what would be underneath and had to put in much more time making it perfect. We told him the deadline was in less then a week, and the movers were coming regardless. With zero hesitation he took on the job and was totally honest about how much he could get done. In less then 12 hours this guy was over at the house fixing what the other guy did and dealing with anything thing that came up (the previous painter that was fired showed up wanting to gain entry). Still working at the house but it looks like we are back on schedule. Professional, competitive, top notch service, and from what I am seeing extremely hard working.
