During our 2-hour consultation, Dawn not only found a color that perfectly matched our style, counters, and backsplash but also spotted opportunities to refresh the colors in the dining room and entry to bring the whole design together. Her color savvy is fantastic, and she asked great questions and listened carefully to incorporate our preferences and ideas. She left us with paint swatches for all three rooms, and the new colors look incredible. Dawn's color consultation more than exceeded our expectations, but she didn't stop there! She also suggested ways to update the kitchen and dining room lighting to be more functional and coordinated. Her after-visit email summary included links to all of the ideas she had offered, including multiple options for fixtures that were very affordable and perfect for our spaces. We love the new lighting. To top it all off, when we told Dawn about our longer-term goal of renovating our kitchen, she offered fantastic ideas for reconfiguring the space to make it more functional and appealing. She followed up with detailed recommendations in her after-visit email summary and included rough drawings to help us visualize thew space. The 2-hour consultation with Dawn was an incredible value, and we definitely want to work with her on the kitchen renovation project!

The job is still not complete, a year into signing the contract. They have failed to establish timelines for anything. The only activity they have been prompt at is sending invoices. Very disappointed!! We hired Advance Design Studio to remodel our master bathroom. To our…read moredisappointment , it took way longer to complete than originally estimated...3 months longer. The nightmare started with the demo. The crew threw glass and other debris out the bathroom window (on the 2nd floor) and made a huge mess. Pieces of old marble countertops were thrown out the window and hit our pergola leaving marks and gashes on the support poles. It took over 2 months to find and pick up all the shattered glass...it was everywhere! Not helpful having 2 dogs that walk in that area. The project manager was a horrible communicator. We were told that the crew would come out on specific days but no one would show up. This was inconvenient in that we would board our dogs when we were told the crew would be there. Additionally, when they did show up, it was only for an hour a day. No urgency on completing the project. Beware and do your homework before hiring this company.

The second was the completion of a finished basement. Both times we wound up with rooms that were literally magazine worthy. It isn't often a guest will walk into a room and say, "Wow!" but that's what Chad and B&C achieved both times. I knew we were in the right hands from the moment I met Chad. He is pleasant, professional, very knowledgeable, confident, and detail oriented. Those are all the attributes of an outstanding general contractor. When I heard Chad say that we shouldn't worry about a thing because that was his job, we thought we had died and gone to construction heaven. True to his word, Chad handled it all. There was never a time where I felt I needed to pressure him to do anything. Chad carefully vets all the subs he uses and also has a highly skilled team of his own. They are great craftsmen, reliable, and trustworthy. They all treated our home with respect and never took a single shortcut. Because they are so highly skilled, they are all great problem solvers. There were never any unpleasant surprises from our perspective-which I think is rare in the remodeling business. Not only would we highly recommend B&C Enterprises to anyone looking to build or remodel, we already have plans with them to convert a screened porch to a true three-seasons room next year. Yes, they are that good. Once you've worked with Chad and B&C, you'll never want to work with anyone else.
