Cowboys, utter cowboys. Avoid at all costs.
Terrible customer service with an abusive owner who harasses you for payment well before the job is completed. Do not give them your phone number as he will call at inappropriate times of the day, drunk!! What a way to run a business.
Doors were of okay quality but were 12cm too narrow as they were measured incorrectly by Nick, APT's owner. Instead of realising this problem, when they came to fit them. They took out our old door and put in the smaller door with huge gaps on the sides. When outside, you could put your hand through the gap in the house and the door frame. I was in disbelief. How could they be so stupid. Once the doors were in, APT refused to fix the problem and insisted the doors were fine and we should hire a plasterer to fill in the 6cm gaps around the door frame.
After getting two late night drunken phone calls from Nick, APT's owner, he visited to look at the doors. Thank god I had our plumber in at the time of the visit as Nick started demanding money from me and was quite aggressive.
To cut a long story short he bullied us into getting a new frame made instead of frame and doors. Which they didn't do, they just nailed some extra wood around the frame. So we didn't get bespoke doors made but a bodge job. The finishing was even more of a joke. The hardware was fitted with impact drivers which have split the frame. The doorknobs are scratched and are of different size. The paintwork has brush strokes and drips all over. The frame is still covered in expanding foam and was just painted over.
We had to deal with such a pr!ck of a guy who caused so much stress to me and my wife for over a month that I would rather fix all the problems myself then have to deal with them again.
We have 3 bay windows and 4 more sash windows that need replacing but they are so ignorant and shortsighted that they screw you over for the fast buck instead of giving any customer service to get repeat business. I cannot believe they run a business this way.
