We hadn't planned on adding gutter guards, but he mentioned that the prices were about to go up and gave us a total for everything that was actually better than the next company that was pricing only the gutters. Cliff explained everything, showed us the product we was going to use, and it was clearly as good as or better than the competitors. His pricing was much better than the "big box" stores. Chauncey came out and gave us an estimate that beat the other two estimates we had already received, one by $700 the other by $900, so with that quote we told him he had the job. Said he would come out Thursday 1/27/22 to start work on our gutters and at 9:30 am that morning he texted me and told me he was on the way. Chauncey and his assistant Rick got right to work. He said the leaf guards I had installed originally were about worthless and you should have seen the amount of crap he cleaned out of our gutters that the old leaf guards were suppose to keep out. He said the weight of all the crap in our gutters was what was causing sections to pull away from the house plus not letting the gutters drain as well as they should. The Leaf Blaster Pro leaf guards he installed are stainless steel, have a 40 year warranty and look great. The heavy steel mesh design will keep everything but water out of our gutters now including all of those pin oak leaves. Chauncey and Rick were friendly, personable and professional. They did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. Chauncey said if I had any problems to give him call and he would come back make things right. They quoted $450. I responded that I thought that was not a fair price as I just paid $200 to have gutter cleaned and that anyone installing gutter guard would clean out the gutter first. I got no response. I contacted another company who installed premium guards for $360 and of course cleaned the gutters before installation. My advice is to shop around before using Gutter Goat.
