I called and they told me that I didn't have to give notice etc. and that my billing cycle will resume on March 10th so as long as my things are removed then I won't have to pay anything further. This was a relief as I waited last min to contact them. I would use Storage Inn again in a heartbeat if needed and definitely refer my friends to them.

BBB complaint has been filed on the violating of a legal contract between myself and previous…read moremanager for me to take over the unit for a cost of $100 plus monthly fees after that violation fraud on three separate occasions on my credit card chronic lying and harassment on this unit while lying about removing contact information where I was continually harassed and continued to be so where my credit card has been misappropriated by this particular staff member who has been repeatedly rude and where customer service has already verified that the credit card charge did originate from this location and where there are ample notes to stop harassing me especially where this location is in violation to an arrangement I had with the previous manager where it should have been 1500 plus 100 were they are now over $4,000 of coercive financial abuse and harassment against me on a unit that's not even mine where they repeatedly lied about the unit information being removed and separated when they put it on and only they could have put it on so only they could have removed it and they did not so here they violated illegal binding Arrangement between myself and the previous manager and then coercively held my Mastercard and myself Hostage to auction threats when they created the mess by violating the arrangement between me and the previous manager so this location violated a previous arrangement with the previous manager and then created thousands of dollars of arrears on their own violation to illegally binding arrangement where they continue to hold my things hostage and threats with auctioning which they don't have my consent to use my credit card or sell my private property that is in somebody else's unit that should have already been put over to my name under the other Arrangement but instead they hold me financially and coercively hostage because the male manager didn't want to hear about the previous Arrangement and therefore he made a decision to act illegally from that moment on where they were just generating costs on a matter that was already decided that I would take over by the previous manager if the arrears got that high again this location is extremely unethical and unprofessional and illegal and coercive and unprofessional and if they sell the stuff that unit they will be directly committing a crime against me where they already violated the previous verbal arrangement with the previous owner who had more information about why the situation was occurring and where it wasn't it was her idea for me to take it over in the way that she suggested and I had agreed that the if it happens again I will take it over and this male manager and this female staff member have acted coercively and harassing and abusive and fraudulently and have denied that arrangement to generate thousands of dollars of arrears The lying alone is disgraceful but the lies eventually catch up with them especially with the screenshots, so here we have people who deliberately violated their previous Arrangement but don't have any problem charging my credit card and holding me hostage by harassing me causing immeasurable distress and work on me as a person with disabilities so it's quite clear that they have a method of coercive harassment and threats when they are the ones that are in violation to legal contracts and offers that were accepted by me. The fact that I have paid several thousands instead of the $100 that I was supposed to pay to get the unit put into my name and moved and downsized is another act of fraud committed by this unethical location None of this would have happened had Kim still been the manager and that's a huge part of the problem

When there was a momentary thought that something might be wrong the service person was immediately alert and attentive, and then very relieved that there was no issue. The trailer hitch parts are very competitively priced. I did my own installation so don't know about installation costs, but I did get the wiring supplied and installed and at $80 and 20 minutes from the time I walked in the door it seemed super reasonable to me. I rented a 5x8 enclosed trailer to drive to Quebec for a one-way dropoff in Lachine. The trailer was in great shape, dropoff was as easy as can be. No fuss, no confusion, easy and clear customer instructions, etc. Don't pay any attention to the few horror stories that people like to tell. Uhaul is an A+ and trustworthy business.

In general, the storage rental business is run by a bunch of soulless, mercenary money grubbers and…read morethis one is no different. First they depersonalize it so they can hide behind excuses like, "It's the computer, there's nothing I can do about it." Then, greedily, they aren't satisfied with collecting the monthly rent but they squeeze an extra payment every year by making you pay every 4 weeks. I wonder how long before they charge the same for 3 weeks, probably not too long. So now your payment is on a different date every month and so easy to forget. They wait until you are a day behind and they ding you with late fees, no, sorry, they're not that bad, they wait 2 days. And then, at several more points through the month, they arbitrarily add on more and larger late fees, so that, if they were annualized you'd be paying over 100% interest on your "loan". They get around our toothless usury laws by calling them fees instead of interest. But don't worry, you won't have to endure this for a year or anywhere near that. If you have a bad month (or 4 weeks, or whatever), they start court proceedings to seize all the assets you have in storage and auction them off to the vultures that are circling. When I die I hope I go to heaven because I can't stand the thought of spending eternity with all these storage locker moguls..
