I fell in love with the car instantly, and I was lead to believe that the car was in great condition and should last me a few years. Unfortunately I came across some issues just a few days later. I understand it's an old car, but I'm only 21 and have literally zero knowledge in the automotive field. I trusted Bruce to help me find a reliable car after telling him about the endless issues with my previous one I got from a friend. I ended up taking it into a shop to make sure there were no major complications with my new car, thinking it was just maybe some faulty wiring or something minor. I was quoted $3,000 in repairs at one shop by a family friend mechanic because the car had a leak in the radiator and needed new power steering along with a few other smaller issues. I was utterly heart broken and I felt like I was lied to and was just another sale for a dealership. Yet, I also went to a shop that Bruce had recommended and was told that the radiator would indeed need to be fixed, but the power steering did not need to be and the fluids would need to be monitored and filled myself. My trust has been totally broken and I will never recommend this place for anyone that I care for. Although Bruce was kind enough to pay for $500 of the $600+ new radiator, I felt that wasn't enough to make up for the stress, and the other approximately $2,500 repairs needed as well as the waste of my time and money on my first ever car purchase.

Incredibly disappointing service…read more Brought in a vehicle to have the engine detailed and cabin filter changed. I was called and upsold on sanitizing the air vets which I did as I had mice in my engine. I picked up at end of day when they said the car was ready I didn't pop the hood to inspect as I had paid nearly $500 so expected the work ti be done. When I got home I noticed the heating fan was making a very loud noise which wasn't even an issue when I first brought it in and noticed that the engine was the exact same never touched with poop and debris everywhere. I brought it in and the shop manager said they don't clean engines so I asked why I Would he told this by more than one person and charged for it. At this point I didn't even trust if the air duct cleaning and filter was even done. I was told the issue would be resolved. Upon pickup a second tome I noticed it was still not properly cleaned while it was better still not what was expected or paid for. It makes you wonder for the work you can't see is it being done at all?

The service technicians have to the smartest, most deucated: they have solved problems that would have thrown your basic mechanics for sure. but the most important qualities I know about this Service Department Team is this: they all really care about their customers. They want to get it right the first time; they are honest people; always straightforward, respectful and polite. I have always been impressed how they cheerfully go the extra mile to please me. I don't want to have another car repair. Nobody does. But I relax a bit when I know I am taking my vehicle to Murray GM. And that is my God's honest truth. ASK YOURSELF...CAN WE EXPECT MORE FROM A CAR REPAIR SERVICE?
