Giving two stars instead of one solely because the dentistry part of fixing my son's chipped tooth has been fine. But I would not recommend seeing this place for braces! 3 years and thousands of dollars wasted -- the canine that I've been told is just stubborn and moves slow is actually fused to the bone and needs to be extracted. Said canine has also caused misalignment with my other teeth so THAT has to be fixed as well (my teeth were straight before treatment just had this canine needing to be pulled down). In three years nobody figure out that this was the problem. Even with x rays. I saw the new ortho who in ONE appointment determined the issue, was hands on, explained everything in a way I could understand in ways that never happened with Winding Ridge. In fact I think I may have heard the doctor's voice one time! Now that I am getting proper care I will have this fixed in 2 years. But now I have to start the process of paying for braces again! Beware the cheaper price is not worth the hassle! I rarely give low reviews on here this was earned! read more

BEWARE. I am not sure what happened to this place, but when I went for the first time in 2017, it was so great that I remembered them 2 years later when I needed to get a regular dentist, so I starting regular care there earlier this year. I chose that place because of the super friendly staff and upbeat personalities of the workers, including the dentist. Fast forward to 2019, and all of the things that impressed me 2 years ago are not the same. There are so many things that are wrong with this place. So this dentist did a filling for me about 3 months ago and it wasn't pleasant but it wasn't terrible either so I just thought they were having a bad day, and so I didn't make much of it. Well, earlier this week I bit into a piece of sausage and one of the hard chunks that they sometimes have. It hurt really bad and ever since I have had really bad sensitivity to hot & cold items, even room temperature water irritated it, so i knew there was a connection and probably needed to go get it checked. So, I had an appointment this morning, walked in the front door, and no one was at the front desk. No big deal right? Well, there was no bell to ring, and I was standing there for 25 minutes and the entire time no one came to the front desk or acknowledged me. So, finally TWENTY minutes after my appointment time, someone finally comes out. So, I am expecting an apology for the wait, but nope, she just tells me to come to the back and tells me to sit down. She takes an X-ray and doesn't seem to know what she is doing, and keeps having to re-do the X-ray. Finally the dentist comes and I am thinking "Finally, maybe things will be better now" but nope. No greeting, no "How Are You?", nothing. He asks where it hurt, and I mentioned that they did my filling a few months ago and he says "Ummm, No we haven't seen you since 2017" It turns out they spelled my name wrong AGAIN and had to search my records by spelling it differently. He corrected himself and checked out my teeth by blowing air into the affected tooth, even though I told him I wasn't sure if any damage was done to my top tooth as well. He literally ignored all my other teeth and when it did hurt from the air, he just kept proceeding to say that "Oh, I don't see anything wrong...." So he quickly gave me a prescription for a fluoride toothpaste and said "if it still gives you issues in a few weeks come back and we will redo the filling". At that point I knew I was never coming back to this dentist again. He made me feel as if I was wasting his time by even coming in there. They also never answer the phone, forget to follow up when you inquire about a dental service, and ignore minor issues that are obvious with your teeth. It is as if they are lazy and don't want to do anything that can't be clearly seen on an X-ray - or at least make an effort to figure out the problem. Please don't waste any money or time on this place. I will never go back there again. read more

I really like this dentist, he's honest. My family has been going here for two years now. Good dentist, doesn't sell you on stuff you don't need (actually doesn't sell you at all and Ive never felt pressured to buy anything here), very nice staff and very clean facility. I started with a Groupon when they first opened. I liked the facility and the staff so I brought my two year old. They impressed me again, so my husband went. He really likes this dentist. I have been a patient here for a while now and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND ITS STAFF. I have visited larger clinics before when I was on a look for a new provider, but never have I felt more safe, welcomed, and cared for in any other dentistry than this. Dr. Shaltoni is a wonderful human being and had always been 1000% honest with me. I have had terrible dentist experiences in the past where unneeded operations were preformed that cost me money and weakened some of my teeth. I was lied to a lot at other clinics and have had trust issues with dentists for the longest time. Dr. Shaltoni makes me feel safe because he thoroughly describes every single situation for me and accurately tells me about what is going on. I had learned a lot from past experiences about the way dentists fool their patients, and you could say that this place honestly made me retrieve my faith in dentists!!! So happy to have found this cooperative and wonderful place full of cheerful and close to the heart staff! I give it a 10/10 tbh. read more

Amazing , such friendly and professional staff. Beautiful waiting area had complimentary coffee waters and snacks and the dental room had two televisions, one in front of you and one over you for when your being worked on. Cleaning was fast but thorough and the dentist was very kind. After the exam i was sat down with a list of my problem areas as we figured out the process and pricing we were going to use to tackle them. I used a Groupon for my cleaning + take home whitening and I couldn't believe the quality I got for my price. Definitely making Winding Ridge my full time dentistry. read more

I have been a patient under Dr. Shaltoni for a few years now, and he far exceeds any dentists I have had in the past. He has many skills when it come to the field, and he knows what techniques to employ for that appointment. I've been able to call for same day appointments, and the new reminder system is convenient for individuals with busy schedules. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, because honestly who really enjoys getting a cavity filled or their teeth cleaned? Not too many people. I had not gotten my teeth cleaned in over a year, so I was pretty nervous about having a cavity but to my surprise I didn't have any and the cleaning process was quick and painless. My entire dental appointment was 15 minutes and that included taking x-rays. The dentist was actually the one who did the cleaning, he said his hygienists were "all on vacation." Since he had no one else in the room with him I had to hold the spit sucking thing and then he told me when to just put it in my mouth. When he flossed my teeth he only shoved the floss down once and didn't move it back and forth at all, and I have a bottom retainer that hygienists and myself will use a threader for the floss to get under it, he simply hit the retainer and moved on. I do a better job of flossing than he did and that is really pretty sad. He didn't do any real cleaning, and was so rushed with the polishing that stuff was flying everywhere and it actually kind of hurt. I talked to a friend who's been a Dental Assistant for 20 years and now runs a dental office, and she freaked when I told her about it. She told me to call them and tell them not to bill my insurance because I didn't really get a cleaning and I would need to go somewhere else. When I called they put me on with their "manager" who proceeded to tell me that "most hygienists just yank and pull" like that was an excuse for how he did the cleaning. When I told her that this was the first time I came out of a cleaning feeling like my teeth weren't clean and it was the most uncomfortable dental appointment I'd ever had, she ACTUALLY hung up on me. I wasn't even speaking like I was upset, just stating facts. I am now going to call my insurance company about them. read more

It took over 7 months for my husband to get a set of replacement dentures. The staff made no effort to move the process along. Throughout the entire experience, no one apologized until AFTER I left a bad review on Google. The "apology" consisted of placing blame on everyone but them and complaining that the dentures ended up costing them money because it was paid by Medicaid. It certainly puts their "apology" into perspective. Seven months is ABSOLUTELY NOT an exaggeration!! The initial appointment was June 6, 2017, my husband finally got his dentures January 23, 2018 - that's 232 days, or 7.8 months. After all that waiting, the dentures were cheap and unnatural looking. My husband wishes he would have just gotten his old ones refitted instead of going through all the torment this place put us through. During that 7 months, we called dozens of times to follow up. Usually they wouldn't answer the phone. On the rare occasions either of us spoke to a live person (Becky) she lied to us - over and over and over about the progress. I was the one who, after 2 months of inaction on their part, got the prior authorization because they were too lazy to do it. It took me one phone call to the insurance company. The worst part is that the insurance erroneously processed the prior authorization as a claim and they got paid in August. That payment should have been returned until the service was completed and an actual claim filed. Accepting that payment was fraud. It STILL took 5 months after they were paid to get the dentures. I've reported their fraud to medicaid and the state's insurance fraud hotline. I've also reported them to Call 6 for Help and am working on the Attorney General complaint now. I would not have gone to those lengths unless it was warranted. Run the other way; find another dentist - ANY other dentist (and do not believe a single word of whatever they might post as a response to this - Becky clearly is the one doing the responses and she is a pathological liar). read more
