Goodluck reaching anyone! Johnathan sold me my Jeep Wrangler and now that I've had my truck for 2 months I realize how little he actually knew about the vehicle. My tires were loud and horribly imbalanced during the test drive and he told me that it's going to make that sound and wobble because the tires were so big. Wrong!... and I've since gotten the issue fixed. After my sister did her part of the paperwork... they just left my truck sitting in their lot and didn't replace the cracked windshield, as promised. They told me to have safelite do it at my home which was annoying, to say the least . Another issue was they took almost 2 weeks after signing to replace a tire because it was completely bald. And then Johnathan told me after they finally got it done that he "threw in a spare"... but it was just the old sh*t tire that they took off. They never gave me a spare key either , and it took weeks of "sorry, I didn't call you back. The box is locked where the spare keys are.". They just need to stick to selling Hyundai's honestly. Lastly... I've since messaged Johnathan about my 30 day tags and no response, as they promised they could extend them if i needed more time since I'm not from this coast. SMH

So I kept reaching out, they kept my car a full day without doing anything to it and wasting time. Next day I had to keep calling again for them to finally work on it, was told a little bit after three it should be done in an hour or so. Told them I would drive up there but it might be awhile cause I live 50 mins away. I got there at 6:20pm Online it says they close at 8. THAT IS NOT TRUE, they close at 6. Would not open the door and let me get my car, I wasted an hour and 40 mins driving for no reason. Everyone just seems unprofessional. Would not recommended this place

Extremely Disappointed with Service Department - Major Lack of Accountability:…read more We had the transmission replaced on my wife's meticulously maintained Kia Sorento Prestige Elite at this dealership. While the repair itself was completed, the experience afterward has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. When my wife picked up the vehicle, the plastic protectant cover that protects the undercarriage was sitting in the back. She was told by the service advisor, Patrick, that he would put it back on and to give him one minute. When the car was brought back around, the cover was no longer in the back seat, so she assumed it had been reinstalled. It was not. Upon getting home, we discovered the cover was completely missing. There was only a small piece of foam dangling from the front. My wife immediately called Patrick and was sent straight to voicemail repeatedly. She had to call the sales department just to get transferred to service, only to be told Patrick was on vacation. After a full week, we finally reached another service advisor. He asked for pictures, said he would involve a manager, and that someone would get back to us. Another week passed with no update. When my wife followed up, the advisor became defensive, saying "IDK what you mean by taking it higher, I was only trying to help. Maybe you should get in touch with your service rep........Patrick!?!!" We went through the same runaround again and finally reached Patrick, who said he would "go look in the back" for the cover. And that's where we are now. This is not how you treat a loyal customer who just spent significant money on a major repair. The complete lack of ownership, poor communication, and finger-pointing between staff is unacceptable. We've wasted hours on the phone chasing basic accountability for something that should have been a simple fix. I would caution anyone considering service here -- especially for major repairs -- to think twice. We expected better from a Kia dealership.

I was an hour south of Five Star Chevy when I began calling Chevy dealerships in the area. The service person I spoke to at this location (Christine) was the only person I spoke to who offered any help at all. Thanks so Christine's advice I was able to get my vehicle towed to Five Star. Although they were not able to find the problem (a long story for another time) she did work diligently with her technicians and GM engineers to try to correct the issue.

In particular their Florence Chevrolet dealership. Went to their service department for work that based on the symptoms of the car, they agreed would have been drivetrain related and therefore covered under warranty. Drop the vehicle off for two days and receive a call that all it needed was a battery and that it would be $554 to replace it. Of course I'm not paying that to replace a battery on a Chevrolet, so I said thanks and that we'd just come pick it up. The service adviser then tells me I would still be charged with a $250 diagnostic fee, but immediately followed that he could speak to his manager about reducing the fee to $125. I then proceeded to tell him my feelings about this absurdity and informed him that that $125 would ensure we would NEVER do any future business with Five Star in any shape or form. He said he understood and would let his service manager know. At no point in the initial scheduling or any time other than after diagnosis was there any mention of the possibility of a diagnostic fee if whatever issue wasn't covered under warranty. Being able to make that informed decision would have made this situation much different. What's even more absurd, is that I would have been charged for the diagnostic fee EVEN IF I had the work done by their service department. For the final atrocity, in my blind disgust I went ahead and bought a battery and replaced the current one, based on their "diagnosis". After installing the new battery, I took the old battery to be tested. As it turns out, that old battery was still good, and only slightly below rated cold cranking amps. It just needed a charge if anything. Long story short, the b______s at Five Star screwed me out of $125 and into a $270 battery I didn't really need.
