He got me in right away. They diagnosed the problem immediately and was able to replace the infotainment center right away. They were courtesy and friendly. The repair was done in a timely manner. When we returned six months after our purchase for the second oil change, we were told we had exceeded the mileage limit (which we had not been informed) BY 38 MILES!!! Avoid this place at all cost, the sales staff very dismissive and rude. So I ended up buying my honda from carmax instead. Saved a ton of money by the way, but that is not the topic right now. So here it is a few years later I need some minor work done to my truck. I make an appointment and go in the service department only because carmax is not close and guess what they rude, unprofessional, and looking to screw you on repair cost. In summary if they can't trick you into over paying in sales department they are surely going to get you in the service department if you need a repair. read more

The manager( Jim) sucks at keeping his customers happy when your getting your car they treat you good. but afterwards sucks!!! and then when you get your car and something is wrong, they don't listen to you. they think you don't know what you're talking about. I don't buy cars from dealerships but I do use the service departments that coincide w the car make. First off when I called to make appointment for service the closest available was 2 weeks out. I did go for panel cluster issues w CRV covered on extended warranty. The greeter person was helpful, said had seen the issue one other time, fixed by unplugging battery and re-attaching. The waiting area is nice, free coffee/cappuccino maker, snack machines, comfy chairs. I understand that there are customers ahead of you but 2 hour wait to unplug battery seems extremely long. Cut down on wait times for trivial fixes, rating will go up. read more

I made an appointment for my Ridgeline because it had started to make a grinding noise when driving. I was expecting it to possibly be something seriously wrong. When I made the appointment, the service people noted the noise issue so when I arrived in the service garage, they already had a note of the problem and the service advisor got the service manager to take a look. He took it for a ride to hear the noise and when we drove back into the garage, he and the service advisor knew exactly what the issue was. A darn rock was stuck in the front brake area that they dislodged and poof, problem solved! No Charge! I can't thank these guys enough for their knowledge and honesty! A local Cadillac dealer could learn from this service group as my experience with them was a never to return terrible. read more

I accompanied my daughter to Cale Yarborough Honda to complete the purchase of her new Accord. The salesperson was very helpful and was responsive throughout the process of reserving the car and waiting for its delivery. She had acquired outside financing, but the in house finance manager was certain he could beat her loan offer. He failed miserably and wasted a good part of our day in the process. Had current inventory problems not been an issue the dealership would have completely lost the sell. He was very deceptive and misleading, and somehow the terms he promised he could get didn't materialize. It's hard to believe someone as experienced as we were told he is performs so poorly in the position. read more

2012 Honda CR-V hands free bluetooth microphone bad and never replaced by Honda. Also, driver's door key switch not properly installed and key would not activate switch to unlock doors. Honda never addressed nor corrected either problem. I have been talking, showing and trashing the VERY POOR disposition and treatment of both these issues. In the nine years I have owned this vehicle; Honda has lost many sales because I CONTINUE TO SHOW WHAT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT HONDA GIVES. When and if Honda does fix and correct the issues they ignored on my 2012 CR-V (even though Honda put out a bulletin on the microphone problem) --- I will never purchase another Honda and keep discouraging others from buying anything Honda. I purchased a JABRA hands free bluetooth device to use in the CR-V because the noise on the phone was so bad. Why am I writing this now? Because Honda keeps sending me literature with statements like: "Service experts trained in genuine care." The only genuine care I received was fixing the door problem myself and using a JABRA device clipped to the sun visor. Not sure who the genuine care is for, but it wasn't for the customer. The loss of one sale would have more that paid for these two items in your profit. I've had the opportunity over the past nine years to cost Honda many sales and will continue to do so until Honda makes me adequate correction of these two injustices..... You can say what Honda did was legal (and maybe even feel good about it) but, I can also say what I am doing is legal and it does make me feel good to drive away your sales every chance I get. I am also seeing problems with "static and voices in the background" on Hondas produced in the past few years. If I can write this much nine years after purchasing my vehicle; Honda must have made a lasting impression on me. Christmas of 2019, my family purchased me a Honda generator 2000i; I took the generator back to my daughter's house and put it in their storage shed (I don't want anything around me that may promote Honda products in any way). Cale Yarborough Honda, Florence, SC I Bought a new Honda accord 3 weeks ago.The car had to be washed 3 times that day. The wash crew could not get the spots off the windows. I was told by Laurie that, they would have a special crew come in and clean the windows with a special compound. When i picked my car up, the windows were worse than before. They used the same crew that cleaned it the Saturday before. Then the next week they picked up my car to have the windows cleaned with a special compound. When i picked my car up this time, the water spots were almost gone, but now it has swirl marks all in the windows, and we noticed it had a lot of scratches and water spots in the paint. I was told by the General Manager David Haney, that I was the only person out of 99.9% that would not like the way the car looked. that he and his wife buys new cars all the time that look like that, and i was not buying a $250000.00 Ferrari, and he didn't have a car or could not find a car on any other lot that looked any better. This is my 6 Honda in 10 years. The paint on my 2007 Honda Accord looked better than this, after driving it for 4 years. My cousin also bought a new Honda accord 2 days before i did. His car had the same problem. David had 3 of the 6 windows replaced. When he picked up his car, they had dropped chemicals on the hood. Now the hood has to be repainted. He is taking his car somewhere else to get painted, in fear something else will happen. read more

Not really sure what type of service the previous reviewer had done, but I could not disagree more! The service department is horrendous! We bought a Honda Pilot from this dealership with the Honda care option. It has had to be serviced three times in only a few months. We took the car in to be serviced because the back hatch was not operating correctly. We received the car back with a big scratch/crack in the rear panel, also it seems as if they have people crawling around inside the car and then return it to us uncleaned. I am the primary driver and other than me the only other person in the car is my fiance. I know that neither of us have shoes with work boot tread and black gunk! The car is always filthy when we get it back from their service department! Also with our Honda Care we are supposed to get a rental for free when they have to keep the car...sounds good right? WRONG! They can never seem to tell you if what they are fixing is going to be covered and basically present it like this "well we can give you a rental but if the service is not covered then you have to pay for it" So let me get this straight... We pay for the Honda Care but you can't tell us what will be covered. It was clear this was not a "normal wear and tear issue" . I am very dissatisfied with all of my service interactions and my fiance and I have seriously considered driving to myrtle beach or lumberton to utilize their honda dealerships. I usually do not write bad reviews..but after the third poor experience with Cale Yarborough Honda of Florence, I figured it was time to get the word out! If you go there for more than an oil change, take dated pictures of everything so you have proof of what your car looked like when you took it in to be serviced! I am not shocked to find out that the area where you are supposed to be able to post a customer review of their service is not operational. There are no reviews and there is no place to submit a review. Horrible place, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! read more
