He then called back at 7:37 p.m to say it was a $200 job. We told him absolutely not. Made him aware that we have the $85.00 he quoted and that was all. He said he was on the way but he then never delivered our car to our home. We contacted him to see if he had gotten lost because it was now 9:37 p.m and we didn't receive any additional calls or updates from him. On the morning of March 23rd, 2024. We contacted the police. The police contacted him and he lied and said he bought the vehicle but no one was home. He then lied and said he called our phone and no one answered (no missed calls or voicemails from this man). He then lied and said we didn't give him our address (we did). How can you deliver a vehicle with no address? LIES.... we were home waiting on him to show. He now wants us to pay $255.00 for our car. I live on a dead end and I have cameras facing the road. He never showed and he would have had to turn around in my yard. It was raining and my thought is he didn't want to be in the rain. He took our car straight to his tow yard and is trying to get money out of us as if he actually made the tow. I contacted my insurance company to report the situation and make them aware of the fraud because we have roadside assistance which will reimburse us. We will not pay for a service that was never rendered. Please don't trust them. We will be making a civil claim.
