What frustrated me the most was the clear double standard with the dress code. When I arrived, I was told AS A WOMEN! to put on a sweatshirt over my outfit, even though there were multiple men on the course wearing t-shirts with no collars and JEANS! I've never been singled out like that at any other golf course, and it felt unfair and unnecessary. The people playing the course were not nice either. Between the poor course conditions, rude treatment, and inconsistent enforcement of rules, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other courses that are cleaner, more professional, and respectful to all their guests.

I also rented clubs and thought everything was pretty reasonably priced, everything seemed to be maintained pretty well and there was a fun variety if terrain for each hole. It was raining lightly when we first came, and if it's raining when you start golfing there's no rain check (which makes sense). The workers are kind and explain everything in depth to you. There's also a restaurant/bar which is a nice place to stop by after golfing. We wanted to practice before starting but don't think they have a driving range here or we weren't told about it?

The signature island green hole (Hole #4/#13) is challenging and always a favorite. The first hole is a long par 3 and is challenging as such. However, if made a par 4, it would be way to simple. A few months before the wedding, after the invites went out, she called the venue to ask a question. They then realized that they had double booked and there would be another wedding in the mansion that day. Also, we would have to push the wedding back an hour. Invitations were already out at this point. I understand mistakes can happen but this was a big one and was only realized when my daughter called them about something. We were all disappointed, however, like I said the day itself was beautiful and the staff, food, facility was excellent.

Out of nowhere no notice . Have to let you go? No explanation? Just it's not personal. We are devastated. We could go homeless. These people go through money and food like no tomorrow. Don't pay it forward to the unfortunate. It's very sad. Heartless no compassion for family's.

All in all would definitely return and recommend for future field trips. Kids had a great time and adults too.
