It's so devastating when you cannot attend a loved one's funeral and you live out of state. So entrusting a florist to create something beautiful for the service is an important step. After sorting through several different options online and reading through customer reviews I decided on trying Windermere Flowers. I was concerned that it may be too short of notice as the service was the next day, but I called and spoke to a gentleman who assured me that the order was received early enough to get the spray done in time and delivered to the service. He also explained that he may have to substitute some of the flowers due to availability, but the color scheme would stay close to the original spray posted on their website. I asked if they could possibly send me a picture of the completed spray and the gentleman said he's not sure they would have time to do so as they would be quite busy that day, so imagine my joy when I received this beautiful picture of the finished product and a note that it was out for delivery with plenty of time before the service. ($15 delivery fee) The customer service and value of product is above and beyond my expectations. I was advised to make sure I input the correct website address as there are scammers that prey on people in their time of need. The website posted here is correct. I asked for a dozen red and white long stemmed roses with babies breathe. Being in a long-distance relationship I get my girlfriend flowers often, and babies breath is the usual play. Vaugh informed me that they do it a little bit different, they use multiple colored greens to make the flowers pop more. This is for the person that answered the phone this morning. She sounded annoyed just having to answer the phone. Left me on hold and came back exasperated. I tried to order a prom boutineer for next weekend and she haughtily informed me that it was Mother's Day the next day. To which I replied, "ok". Silence. She then let me know in the snottiest, most condescending tone, that they would not be accepting any orders, other than Mother's Day gifts. I called this morning and spoke to Claude the owner to order get well flowers for my sister. I asked him to make them very cheerful and he assured me that the arrangement would be lovely. Less than 2 hours later I got an enthusiastic text from my sister raving about the flowers ( with a picture) and it was just perfect- low and full of lovely flowers in an attractive container. I had seen some older reviews that were very negative but more recent ones were very positive and note the new owner ( of 3 yrs I think) Claude is terrific and talented and I can see why. He was very friendly and helpful and did a really beautiful reasonable (these days that's less than $100 delivered) arrangement promptly. I am very unimpressed with the florist. The flowers I sent to my mother for Mother's Day died within 3-31/2 days of receiving them. When my mother rang them about it they asked her what she expected after 5 days. They were delivered on a Friday evening and dead by Monday morning. The blooms never opened. Unlike other Florists we have used in the past (and will continue to use) they did not replace the flowers only questioned her. I decided to try a different florists out of curiosity and I am sad that I did this. I will never use them again. read more

We loved the flowers and candles Windermere Flowers did for our wedding! The ceremony was elegant with all the candles, and the backdrop was incredible! The centerpieces were gorgeous, everyone loved them! Now for my favorite part.... the bouquets!!! I think everyone woman (and even some guys) at the wedding said how gorgeous not only mine, but my wedding party's flowers were. The staff was extremely professional, they even moved the backdrop to the reception after the ceremony; I'm still not sure how they managed that without completely dismantle it. I was new to the area and looking for a florist for my business. This will not be the one! I made my order and when it was not delivered by late afternoon (4:00) I called them. They confirmed that I did make the order but they did not enter it into the system. They asked if they could deliver tomorrow (the day after the birthday). After more discussion they did deliver at about 7:00 that night. The surprise was ruined because I had to ask my wife if they were delivered and the florist only offered an apology. My mother is a florist and she said they would drop the delivery fee if they made a mistake like that.
