Absolutely lovely stay! Beautiful views, and my Husky enjoyed exploring the property as much as I did.

Our wedding was planned at this venue for July 2020 and shortly after signing the contract we found out how difficult they are to work with. Due to coronavirus we had to cancel, as the size would not be allowed under governmental restrictions. No support or empathy was provided for rescheduling whatsoever - it was all about them without a care in the world for us, their paying customers - and the "options" we were given were non-options and a complete ripoff (i.e. expecting us to pay $2K more than the usual Friday rate to get a Friday next summer and not giving us ANY Saturdays to choose from even though we had already paid extra for a Saturday). It was so disappointing to be treated that way. We ended up walking away because the whole experience was so awful and they kept our ENTIRE deposit in exchange for nothing but an awful memory, a whole lot of stress and the absolute worst customer service imaginable. Trust me, you do NOT want to work with these people. Keep looking -- there are so many other beautiful venues in Washington where you will be treated with respect and empathy. Stay far away from this one.

I booked our stay at Tenzen Springs after throughly reading as many reviews as possible. I always…read morelike to know what I can expect and prepare myself for the cons. Prior to booking I knew there were 3 "issues". The first one being the nearby train tracks. Second, the sulfur smell from the tub. Last being the comfortability of the beds. My review is based on cabin 4, which is the ADA cabin and is a slightly larger layout. Upon arrival, the instructions were extremely simple. The cabin was immaculate and we were both pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities and smart design choices that made a seemingly small space feel larger. We had opted to eat most meals at the cabin and packed a cooler with our refrigerated items. The kitchen was adequately stocked for 2 people. Absolutely no issues there. Tenzen Springs provides assorted Starbucks coffee K-cups, teas and sweeteners. The Keurig coffee maker is simple to use. They even provided a small container of milk, which I hadn't thought to bring and was extremely thankful for it. The instructional videos that Tenzen Springs provides made it very simple to figure out how to work the air conditioner, steam shower, tub, stovetop, etc. Okay, first con is the noise from the train. I was prepared for it and you should be, too. I knew that it would be barreling past us in the middle of the night and I am an extremely light sleeper. The first night, I used white noise on my iPad. That did not drown it out enough so on our second night I used the ear plugs. That did a better job but I still heard the train. It seems like it is every 3 hours or so. Did I let it ruin my time? Nope. The second con is the sulfur smell. After reading one review, I was seriously prepared for the worst. So I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's really not that bad and you only smell it when you're in the tub area. The third con is the bed. Being a mattress snob, I can see why folks complain. The mattress is not the best, but it is far from the worst. And we did not book the cabin based on how comfortable the bed is. The bedding, however, is perfect and quite cozy. We slept fine both nights and woke up with the intent of soaking in the tub as soon as possible. I must say, the pros outweigh the cons at Tenzen Springs. We soaked our cares away and felt like we were completely secluded. We walked the grounds at sunset and saw a breathtaking beauty that we don't get day to day. It was awe inspiring and made us extremely thankful for the experience, even if it was just for the weekend. Tenzen Springs has put obvious thought into the perfect placement of the cabins to make you feel secluded as well as mowing walking paths out to benches overlooking the gorge and hammocks placed perfectly in the shade. We used our time to reflect and reset and came out of it completely recharged. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you Tenzen Springs for an unforgettable weekend.

This is where you need to stay! What can I say? Came here for two nights. Did a few things in the surrounding area but my mind was on the cabin. This is truly a tranquil space. Keep in mind, it is a shared space with other cabins, but nonetheless, it's a beautiful tranquil spot. Nestled in the hilltop, you'll wake up to deer and wild turkeys most likely, as we did. Just a relaxing and calm environment. We stayed at Cabin #5. To me, this was the best cabin with views. You can see water through the trees a bit, as well as the forest trees beyond. With a private geothermal soaking tub, you're sure to just melt all your cares away. Plus, the outdoor shower will help you rinse off before getting in. This was a nice touch to my stay. Then, the tiled shower acts as a steam-room with a touch of a button. How unique!! They provide new packaged slippers for you to use in cabin, as well as flip flops to be used if you choose around the cabin deck. The bed was amazing. Each night I slept like a baby. They have two reading lights, so it was nice to read a few pages before bed. Also, there's two electric outlets on each side of the bed in case you need to charge phone or anything within arm's reach. Well ventilated by fan, or you have option to use remote controlled A/C fan. On the premises you'll find many instagrammable photo opportunities. Also, you'll find a few walking paths that lead to some benches under a beautiful tree to relax, or you can relax with views of the Gorge in another spot. Also, there's two hammocks in a shady area if you want to use to take a nap. Also, a unique touch. You'll have your own parking space and I even saw electrical outlets in case you have electric vehicle. All in all, this has been my favorite AirBnB and I've stayed at several. I did not want to leave. Even on the day we had a packed itinerary to leave and do activities, I made sure to be back early to enjoy this space. I am so glad I did. Just a beautiful place. If you're driving to this place, Google will drop you off half way there, but keep driving a bit and you'll see the Tenzen signage. Use your access code provided and you're in!

Bugs destroyed all of our food and were a constant source of annoyance all through our trip. My wife and I used to really enjoy this place and visit a couple times a year. This was one of our main places to relax and unwind with the incredibly unique mineral water and the multiple hot tubs in their big suites. I don't want to be a hater. Especially to a place that we've enjoyed in the past. But I am afraid we're no longer going to be visiting here after the nightmare experience we just had here. We just spent a lot of money for their biggest suite and another hotel room for our family to visit. Our suite was completely infested with disgusting bugs. Bugs were going up and down the walls. Bugs destroyed most of our food disgustingly infesting it within a hour of us leaving it on the kitchen table. We spent over a hour trying to clear the room and the walls of the bugs but they just kept re-appearing. When we told the lady at the front desk about this. She said it was to be expected... and that her kid once dropped a Popsicle three miles from there that attracted ants... ...Lady, I don't know what the hell you were talking about. But this trip cost over two thousands dollars. And when I'm trying to politely tell you that your biggest suite in your resort is infested with bugs crawling the walls with their infestation holes dotted throughout the wood in the kitchen, mainly so some Karen doesn't lose her mind on you in the future... and you blow me off with that malarkey... we're never coming back. My mother had the ADA room and the cover on her hot tub was broken which meant the people in the ADA room couldn't get the cover on or off the hot tub... When we checked in, a different lady at the front desk was cranky after dealing with complaints all day saying people either loved or hated this place. Well... we used to love it but it's really quite easy to hate it with how it's falling apart, dilapidated, infested with vermin and the staff has an "I hate life and I hate my job" type of attitude. Just a rather lousy experience which is a shame because my wife and I used to really love it here but I'm not going to spend this type of money to deal with bugs or poor attitudes. If I had spent half for this experience, I might have a different attitude but this was top dollar and Carson Resort was Vegas prices for a low end troubled Motel 6 with a hot tub. Also having that nightmare image in my mind of our food completely infested was not an experience I was hoping to have on my vacation. On the plus side, the restaurant at the Golf Course part of this resort was awesome!

Our room was so cozy (and in this case that isn't code for "small": we had a king size bed and the room still felt spacious) with an electric fireplace and comfortable bed with giant pillows. Our bathroom had a giant, beautiful soaking tub which we did take advantage of and even my 6' tall husband found it comfortable. Everything other reviewers have stated is true: it is charming, comfortable and fun. The design and decor all feel thoughtful and natural. Every space is inviting and it seems there is something delightful to see around every corner: a DIY photo booth closet inside the front door with props (!), a make-your-own-trail-mix counter along with coffee/tea/cocoa access 24/7...even just the seating areas inside the front door made me smile. Breakfast was quite the spread & the owner/manager (?) was there with a couple of staff and even took our "order" for what kind of eggs we wanted. They were all so friendly and casual I felt like I was staying at a friend's house. One little thing I never thought I cared about: their towels were SO soft and smelled SO good. I have never experienced anything like it and now I know there is such a thing as an amazing towel experience. Check in was a breeze: there is a parking lot behind the house (1 car per room) & we basically just showed up with a door code & details texted/emailed to us and went straight to our room which was open with keys in the door waiting for us (the exterior access points to the house are all locked/secure so no worries about security). Stay here if you get the chance, it is wonderful.
