Several terms of the purchase and sale agreement were not met by the seller, and instead of holding the seller or their attorney accountable, Crowley and Cummings left us to manage the situation ourselves. We -- not our legal team -- had to chase down the seller's contractors, contact the town to confirm permits, and follow up to ensure things were completed before closing. There were also mistakes in the financial transfers. Despite giving clear instructions on how our sale proceeds were to be wired (and even connecting their accountant with our lender), those instructions were ignored. The money was disbursed incorrectly and we were hit with bank fees. The most egregious issue involved a backyard filled with debris, including a toilet and rotting doghouse, which the seller was contractually obligated to remove. Not only was it not removed by closing, but we were told she had 30 days post-closing. She still didn't follow through. We were advised to hire junk removal and told it would be paid from escrow. But the attorney hadn't held back enough, so we were stuck paying the remainder -- for something the seller was supposed to do. In every one of these situations -- from contractor follow-ups to junk removal -- my husband and I did all the legwork, while the firm's response was essentially, "Yes, that's frustrating." In the end, we've spent nearly $5,000 cleaning up after the seller's failure to uphold the agreement -- and Crowley and Cummings failed to back us up. If you want a real estate law firm that will truly advocate for you and enforce the contract, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

He was rude, disdainful, too good to talk with us even though we are the clients. He was off onto his next deal without bothering to fix the mistakes he and his staff had made again and again.
