I was amazed at his attention to details and the way in which he took the time to point out his findings as he went through the process of doing my home inspection. He immediately brought to my attention any concerns or potential issues, as he went through the home, step by step. As promised he had my inspection report sent to me the very next morning, despite the fact that my inspection was scheduled in the afternoon. He was punctual and conducted himself very professionally. His report was well written and the pictures included were right on target. I was able to share the findings of the report with the broker with ease and comprehension. Rich is truly incredible. Without question, he is the most detailed, thorough, and careful home inspector there is. When buying a house, there are so many risk factors, and at the same time, so many questions that I have as a buyer. Rich is a true professional. I Called Rich looking for an inspection before making going to contract on a beach home. Rich was able to fit me in the following day and went right to work inspecting the house. I followed Rich around when he poured over EVERY detail in the house. Call it 4 and one-half stars...cuz nothing is perfect. WIN was very responsive upon my calling despite my not being able to actually speak to someone, at least initially. Between text and email, I was quickly given multiple dates for my inspection and those communications were clear about the scope of their service. Our inspector, Carl H, was smart, knowledgeable and personable (and with a sense of humor). Most of all, I appreciated his experience in approaching a home that is more than 100 years old. By being thorough and pragmatic in his assessments, Carl made the process less daunting. I believe that WIN's fee structure was competitive and fair. I've used WIN twice over the last few years. Both times I've received excellent service. Rich is professional & very thorough. On the most recent home inspection he took the time to point things out as he found them and not only tell me what's wrong but suggestions on how it could be corrected. He took the time to explain why if things were left as is what problems they would cause. It could be scary as he points stuff out but he's there to protect you and make sure you know what you're getting. Rich of WIN Home Inspection of Bethpage was the home inspector for the home I purchased in 2014. I was so impressed with Rich's service and professionalism that I used him again for the purchase of my parent's home in 2020. Rich was happy to have both my mother and me walk through the inspection and explain both the positive and potentially problematic aspects of the house. We are in the process of buying our second home. Rich had done the inspection on our first home and was extremely thorough we wouldn't even think of having another inspector do the inspection for an even more expensive home. Rich was so thorough again. He found a couple large ticket repairs that would be needed. We were a leading go reg-negotiate the sale price. Rich saved us tens of thousands of dollars in repairs. We are still moving forward with the sale and will have the repairs done by the businesses of our choice but at least we were able to get the repair values taken off of the sale price. Rich inspected a home purchase of mine about 3 weeks ago. From the second he arrived I could tell he was all about business. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the home inspection process and goes above and beyond. Rich is an excellent inspector. We called on a Monday and was able to schedule him to come out that Thursday. It rained the entire morning of the inspection but that did not deter or slow him down. Rich is meticulous and thorough. He does a great job of explaining everything to you in a clear manner and was very patient answering all of our questions. Rich is great. I had two homes inspected with him. He was responsive and accommodating. The report was very thorough, capturing all aspects of the homes. I attended one of the inspection, he explained what he was looking for and if he was concerned about something he found. He would show me the item and explain to me the ramifications of leaving it unattended.
