The texture and flavor tasted like something that came straight from a frozen box rather than a freshly made croqueta. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also don't want others to spend their money expecting a quality croqueta and end up disappointed. There are too many great places in Miami serving fresh, flavorful croquetas to settle for one that tastes mass-produced. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on my experience, I wouldn't order it again.

Once done I pressed yes for my receipt and it made a printing sound but nothing came out. I went in with my kids to get the receipt and decided to get them slurpees. At the register I told the cashier I wanted to use my free medium slurpee reward but they only had small and large cups. She said they haven't gotten medium in yet but confirmed i could still use my reward so I scanned my app and paid. Now I see it did not scan the reward since it's still in my app wallet. In addition to this the signs on the machine said small was 50 cents and large was 75 cents but that was not the case according to my receipt. I'm tired of redeeming a reward and it not being scanned for use. To top it off the blue raspberry slurpee flavor was changed as it taste more sour and not like it use to. Wawas taste the same so I'll be going there instead going forward...@"09

But worse than that, they charge a flat 50 cent fee every single time you use a debit card, no matter if you're buying something for a dollar or twenty. That's a scam. It's targeting low-income Black residents who rely on their cards to get by. This place is taking advantage of the neighborhood and profiting off struggle. 300 customers is 150$ in just fees alone. I have been shopping at Milam's Market in Miami Springs for years, but my recent experience was…read moredisappointing. Something seems to be amiss in the meat department. Traditionally, the cuts displayed at the full-service meat counter are noticeably thicker and of a different quality than those found in the self-service refrigerated cases. Lately, however, the cuts at the meat counter appear to be the same thickness and presentation as those in the self-serve display, which diminishes the value of purchasing from the service counter. Customer service was also lacking. The employees I encountered appeared unhappy to be assisting customers. There was no greeting, no smile, and the overall impression was that customer questions were an inconvenience rather than an opportunity to help. In addition, I asked a stock employee in the ice cream aisle about an advertised sale. Even after I showed him the store flyer, he seemed unfamiliar with the promotion and responded that they "must not have it." There was no attempt to verify the information or help locate the product. The interaction left the impression that he was completely unaware of current store promotions. Milam's has long been known for its quality products and neighborhood service, which is why this experience was surprising. I hope management takes a closer look at the meat department and customer service standards so the store can maintain the reputation that has made it a Miami Springs staple.
