There was no shortage of Boba where I grew up in Southern California…read more I've spent many trips in Taiwan and Asia looking for boba and even make boba at home. I eat a lot of boba, and I'm slightly ashamed and probably need to reduce my sugar intake. I know my boba. Chewbrew's problem isn't the boba. It came down to three major issues: 1) The tea is way too watery. I've had the black tea, and it just tasted overly watered down. The ratio is just bad. 2) The amount of boba is a very very small amount. I did not feel like it was any value. 3) They ran out of boba the first time I came here and I got an Oreo milk tea instead. This was also equally watery. In the interest of an unbiased review I came back again the next day to get a boba. What boba place runs out of boba? Poor inventory management. There was also a lot of gnats in the store. Not appealing. Avoid this place. Sorry chewbrew! Cute branding but just too many problems to recommend :( 1/5 RenatoStars

I don't know if this place was once great but this was the worst boba experience I've ever had…read more I went on a Friday afternoon when they should expect to be busy and they had 0 boba. Feeling obligated to get something still i got the cookies and cream shake. While sitting there half of the shop was filled with nats and it was absolutely disgusting. The shake was fine but I will never be coming back here. Even the service wasn't great and the staff was not friendly. I'd recommend any other shop before trying this one.

A rather crowded Vietnamese eatery in the Caple Street, came in on a Tuesday evening and the place…read morewas packed with diners. Couter order, cash only, find your own seat. Had a large beef vermicelli. Vermielli was a bit on the thicker side, tasted alright. Beef portion was quite generous and the beef tasted like a good quality product with fine lean texture. Had the spicy broth option and gotta say the broth was too spicy, not on the pleasant side, pretty much like it was drowned in sriracha. Overall an OK place for a quick meal.

This was the first meal we had when we landed in Ireland. We wanted something on the lighter side…read moreversus the heavier Irish meals/pub food around. This place came up on Yelp and on Google as highly rated. I am sad to say that I am thoroughly disappointed. The service is the typical fast joint quick service type of environment but with friendly people. The disappointing factor was on the food itself. The flavors were completely off. The bun bo hue tasted like a basic bland bone broth that they universally used and added maybe a small dollop of what is supposed to be bun bo hue flavoring/essence. It tasted nothing like bun bo hue or smelled like it. If they offered shrimp paste, it wouldn't even have made a difference. The satay on the table didn't even save the dish. The hu tieu reminded me of a broke college student living off of instant noodles but making 1 packet stretch to 2 bowls. It lacks so much flavor and all of the table condiments made no difference. I will say I liked the noodles but everything else was just a bowl of sadness. Now the banh mi... The bread was super stale and my mouth was extremely tired from just eating half. I could not get past the staleness to even enjoy what was inside. Overall this was edible. My friend ordered the grilled pork rice plate. Side note they don't and can't do an egg with it. The meal itself looked really sad and not appetizing. I can't even compare this place to a cafeteria quality type of meal because this was probably one of the worst meals I've had in a very long time. Granted the items were edible, but if I had a choice I would've not eaten it.. but I did pay for it and I don't like wasting food. At least the noodles were cooked correctly and I wasn't eating a bowl of mush. Overall this place is very disappointing for the food, skip it. The people here are friendly-ish and accommodating (they let my friend practice and work on her Vietnamese when ordering the food).

Came to Dublin and a friend told me about this bubble waffle ice cream place so of course I had to…read morego. I did have a bit of trouble finding it because the sign for the place is SO SMALL!! Spent maybe about 20 minutes walking around until I finally spotted it. I've added a picture so maybe it'll be easier for everyone who sees this. They have many different flavors for the bubble waffle but since I'm a chocolate person, I went with the chocolate dream. I would NEVER pay $10 American dollars for ice cream but this one is worth every penny! The waffle was made to order and I got to see him make the waffle and the rest of the cone. And when I say this thing is huge, it's HUGE!!!! Definitely got my $10 worth! Haha!! The taste......20 out of 10!! The waffle was so soft and fresh. The chocolate ice cream.....no words for how good it was. I'm not usually a fan of other flavors but this actually makes me wanna give the other ones a try. I strongly suggest making a stop here and getting a bubble waffle. I promise it'll be the best $10 you'll ever spend!!!!!

The place is primarily a waffle/crepe, milk tea, and desserts front, and we did had a good bowl of…read moresweet milk with jelly and taro balls. But read carefully and you can see two stores in one place: Bubble Waffle Factory (for the sweets and milk tea) and Street Food Factory (for savory options). The street food menu consists of a small but signature menu of beef brisket, beef tripes, and wonton noodle soup. And as a Cantonese, I had to say the quality exceeded my expectations. The beef briskets and beef tripes were braised thoroughly, super tender, rich flavor of spices and seasoning, while the texture of respective parts remained spot-on. The broth base also had great flavor. Portion size was good for the price. For the wontons, they were a bit smaller than the ones I had in another Cantonese place, and they seemed to have small or no shrimp inside, but the intense flavor of minced pork and the bouncy texture suggested the stuffing was of great quality, and the wrap was thin enough to melt in the mouth while also resilient enough to keep the wonton intact. My only wish would be that the noodles would be less runny and bouncier. But overall, I was very satisfied with this place.
