My fiancé and I were in town for Wimberley Market Days and on the way stopped by Wimberley Donuts. Neither of us had had breakfast yet and were starving, and donuts sounded good. They have a drive-through window which we pulled up to, and we easily determined what we wanted. I ended up going with the breakfast biscuit sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese, and my fiancé got the cinnamon roll and a blueberry glazed donut. The biscuit sandwich was really good, and they make the biscuits in-house! I think it would've been even better if they had warmed it up, but hey - a win is a win no matter what! I didn't try the donuts my fiancé got, but he said that the cinnamon roll donut was possibly one of the best he had ever had! The woman taking our order at the window was friendly and efficient. I think it took maybe 1-2 minutes total between ordering, paying, and receiving our items. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area! read more

Donuts were good, we had a couple blue and white the kids picked out , a boston cream long John and , bacon egg cheese croissants were the best I've had in along time , fast friendly service. They ran out of regular donuts so we got a dozen donut holes. They were kind of flavorless We also got the blueberry cake donut which wasn't too dense. I really liked the jalapeño kolche we got, but it was SPICY. It was the best thing in my opinion. I am more of a savory girl. The workers were cute and helped me with some advice. Quite literally the best breakfast sandwich of my life. Highly recommend the croissant, bacon, egg and cheese. My daughter also had the donut holes with frosting which she loved and my iced coffee was insanely good. I'll be back next time. I'm in Wimberley for sure! read more

Possibly the worst human interaction (with the owner or owners wife I think) I can ever recall. Went in (as a favor) to pick up for a wedding party (wedding couple spent well over $300 (yea $300+...uh... donuts)during the weekend other) Was harassed as I tried to take the already purchased 3 dozen donuts as requested (followed me out to car telling me what a terrible person I was ... all about previous days service/carafe returns that I wasn't involved with and had no clue about). We are everything too quick for a picture! I love the kolaches!! The jalapeño actually has some heat to it which is phenomenal! Pretty good donuts with the only drive in (that I know of) for donuts in Wimberley. Lots of different standard donut flavors. I wish I knew they also had kolaches! Got to try those next time. Pro tip: you have to do a u-turn from the road to get to the drive through as it doesn't go around the building. read more

Really enjoy their jalapeño roll. Tasty sausage with jalapeños mummy wrapped in slightly sweet dough. The kids love their egg and sausage croissant. We have not tried the donuts yet. Serve is quick and the young man at the counter is always pleasant. read more

The prices are way too high, the quality is, at best, average, and the service is always terrible. The owner is rude, a quality her employees emulate. Brookshire Brothers and HEB both have bakeries and are better choices. Stay away from this place. read more

It is a shame that I am writing this review because I truly like the family but their donuts are God awful there is no quality control. I have gone up ordered two donuts, and got a bag of six because they're the size of onion rings. I have overlooked this for a long time, today I ordered apple fritters that would better be described as weapons than food. Flat hard over cooked and under glazed with a greasy after taste. I would have preferred being told they were out of apple fritters then come all the way home to find what I got in the bag. They should've never made it out the window, shame on you. Donuts are average. Prices are extravagant. $10 for a dozen glazed!!! $2.25 for cup of coffee. $2 for donut holes! I thought I misunderstood the employee. She snobbily assured me they were made fresh (I sure as hell hope so.) unlike Shipley's (lie, they're made fresh daily too). This is the only donut shop around for many miles and they take full advantage. I was told that prices were to be raised soon.
