What great little spot for a donut and some coffee there in Wimberly. Staff is so nice and friendly... and the Apple Fritters are amazing!

I don't even know how this place is in business. We were in town on the weekend for a morning car show, ordered kolaches. AWFUL. DRY. STALE. the kid at the counter said they are freshly made. Same with the donuts. Stale. Place is dirty and nasty. Not a place to sit and eat at all. read more

My fiancé and I were in town for Wimberley Market Days and on the way stopped by Wimberley Donuts. Neither of us had had breakfast yet and were starving, and donuts sounded good. They have a drive-through window which we pulled up to, and we easily determined what we wanted. I ended up going with the breakfast biscuit sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese, and my fiancé got the cinnamon roll and a blueberry glazed donut. The biscuit sandwich was really good, and they make the biscuits in-house! I think it would've been even better if they had warmed it up, but hey - a win is a win no matter what! I didn't try the donuts my fiancé got, but he said that the cinnamon roll donut was possibly one of the best he had ever had! The woman taking our order at the window was friendly and efficient. I think it took maybe 1-2 minutes total between ordering, paying, and receiving our items. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area! read more

Cute family owned donut shop. A descent selection of donuts and others, like kolaches and breakfast sandwiches. Inside there are a few tables. Outside there isn't much parking, but there a drive thru line. read more

Tacos were just ok but the customer service was rude and the inside seating had no AC other than a small fan

They ran out of regular donuts so we got a dozen donut holes. They were kind of flavorless We also got the blueberry cake donut which wasn't too dense. I really liked the jalapeño kolche we got, but it was SPICY. It was the best thing in my opinion. I am more of a savory girl. The workers were cute and helped me with some advice. But overall the place just game me small town vibes. read more

Donuts were good, we had a couple blue and white the kids picked out , a boston cream long John and , bacon egg cheese croissants were the best I've had in along time , fast friendly service. My only complaint is that I didn't realize my wife's jalapeño kolache was burnt until it was too late and we were back at the lodge , like dark and obviously burnt :( I'd still be back as the rest stated was delicious , inside was very colorful, kinda warm from the small space and fresh cooked food read more

Possibly the worst human interaction (with the owner or owners wife I think) I can ever recall. Went in (as a favor) to pick up for a wedding party (wedding couple spent well over $300 (yea $300+...uh... donuts)during the weekend other) Was harassed as I tried to take the already purchased 3 dozen donuts as requested (followed me out to car telling me what a terrible person I was ... all about previous days service/carafe returns that I wasn't involved with and had no clue about). The lady tried to grab the already paid for donuts away from me smashing them. Seinfeld has the soup Nazi...I've got the donut nazi for a lifetime memory Guess it's just so hard running a business these days you gotta treat the customers or friends like sh_t! At least I got an apology from the groom for the hassle... read more

Quite literally the best breakfast sandwich of my life. Highly recommend the croissant, bacon, egg and cheese. My daughter also had the donut holes with frosting which she loved and my iced coffee was insanely good. I'll be back next time. I'm in Wimberley for sure! read more

tried this donut shop for the first time two days ago, and have now stopped by every morning since. the jalapeño, sausage, and cheese kolaches are amazing, and so are their donuts. the service is amazing, you can tell it's a family owned shop. overall, i love it here and they'll be seeing me every morning of my next wimberly trip read more

Good donuts, good service, good selection, fair prices. Kids loved them. All round good experience.

Pretty good donuts with the only drive in (that I know of) for donuts in Wimberley. Lots of different standard donut flavors. I wish I knew they also had kolaches! Got to try those next time. Pro tip: you have to do a u-turn from the road to get to the drive through as it doesn't go around the building. read more

Bought the donuts, kolache, and cinnamon roll for family. So darn tasty, and excellent service and prices. You could see the tacos being made to order. So glad that we have such a good donut shop in Wimberley. read more

We are everything too quick for a picture! I love the kolaches!! The jalapeño actually has some heat to it which is phenomenal! The breakfast tacos are tasty and a great size, especially for the price! Also the coffee is outstanding! The team working there is also great, they are super friendly and so quick! Cannot wait to go back! read more

This was our 1st time here. My loved the tacos. We will be back again. They make all their stuff homemade.

The donuts are good and fresh I love their breakfast crescent sandwich is delicious. The lunch BLT is so good. I like the freshness and their friendliness. read more

Such a cute place! Staff is always smiling and helpful. I love the Kolaches, and the donuts are delicious! The glazed is light and airy and perfect for a morning coffee. Looking forward to trying the tacos and homemade salsa! read more

New Owner! Great FRESH pastries along with terrific service. Wider selection with reasonable prices. Cleanliness compared to the past is great to see as well. Total transformation from the past ownership. read more

Homeboy gave the hook up! The jelly filled raspberry donuts were nicely stuffed!! And since it was towards the EOD, we were given some extras that would have been thrown out anyway. read more

I really, really like their sausage and cheese kolaches! Unfortunately, the glazed donut I got was not great...

Great service and an awesome staff! We go to Wimberly at least twice a year and this place is always great.

It's incredible if you're going for the blueberry cake donuts or the kolaches especially we're phenomenal 10/10 but there glazed items were not even close to being sweet enough very light glaze read more

We ordered a half dozen glazed and some other breakfast sandwiches. Oh. My. Gosh! All of it was so yummy! Don't let the small exterior deceive you :) I used the drive through and the staff was quick and friendly. read more

Great donuts, service and made to order croissants with your choice of bacon, sausage, egg, cheeses - and great breakfast tacos also.

Looking for a yummy croissant, donuts, tacos, or biscuits? You've found it! We even went back for seconds .. it was so good! Ordered donuts (so soft and delicious), the croissant with egg, cheese, and ham was tasty and hit the spot! Also ordered kolaches, and came back for more donuts and croissants! Highly recommend this small business, and sweet family run restaurant. read more

These are the worst donuts in the nation. They tasted like day old truckstop donuts and they cost $12.00 per dozen.

They were ok. It's your only donut option in Wimberley so there's that. Very dry compared with what we are use to.

Fresh hot donuts in an old school setting. The donut selection isn't huge, but the quality is very good. My favorite is the unglazed cake donut with coffee. Friendly employees who are patient with indecisive kids and parents who accidentally park in the drive through. read more

Really enjoy their jalapeño roll. Tasty sausage with jalapeños mummy wrapped in slightly sweet dough. The kids love their egg and sausage croissant. We have not tried the donuts yet. Serve is quick and the young man at the counter is always pleasant. read more

PERFECT DONUT. Fresh, delicious, crispy on the edges, fluffy in the middle. Service was great. Can't ask for more

Greasiest donut ever! Greasier than fried chicken... had an apple fritter with a small piece of apple 1/4 inch square... my husband's had none. Picture shows the grease from the second paper towel I used. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Wimberley Donuts - Donuts Near Me - Wimberley, Texas

After 8am or so they rarely have anything donut-related... no fritters, donuts, cinnamon rolls, nada, zip, zilch. They do have kolaches, probably because they'll keep until the next day. The prices are way too high, the quality is, at best, average, and the service is always terrible. The owner is rude, a quality her employees emulate. Brookshire Brothers and HEB both have bakeries and are better choices. Stay away from this place. read more

It is a shame that I am writing this review because I truly like the family but their donuts are God awful there is no quality control. I have gone up ordered two donuts, and got a bag of six because they're the size of onion rings. I have overlooked this for a long time, today I ordered apple fritters that would better be described as weapons than food. Flat hard over cooked and under glazed with a greasy after taste. I would have preferred being told they were out of apple fritters then come all the way home to find what I got in the bag. They should've never made it out the window, shame on you. I'll go to HEB from now on, even theirs are better! read more

I absolutely LOVE the croissant breakfast sandwiches. They are the best. The Long John (Bavarian creme filled chocolate donut) was just nasty. The cream filling had a weird taste and had lumps of something like congealed cream. read more

Fresh and tasty Croissant sandwiches. We also ordered sugar donuts, chocolate glazed and their cereal topped donuts for our son. We all loved everything every bite. Delicious donuts! read more

Loved this place. The donuts are made right there and are AMAZING. Limited variety but what is there is fresh and delicious. Kinda want to go back now. read more

Donuts are average. Prices are extravagant. $10 for a dozen glazed!!! $2.25 for cup of coffee. $2 for donut holes! I thought I misunderstood the employee. She snobbily assured me they were made fresh (I sure as hell hope so.) unlike Shipley's (lie, they're made fresh daily too). This is the only donut shop around for many miles and they take full advantage. I was told that prices were to be raised soon. I assume folks in these parts have no clue what decent donuts or prices should be. My advice, stop into HEB or one of the few taco joints nearby. read more
