    Truffle Mac & Cheese

Service and food were great. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next evening. We had the ribeye & truffle Mac and Cheese both evenings. We ordered the fig and chorizo toast on our second visit as well as the broccolini. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. Kudos to Ricardo for taking great care of us during our visits. The entire staff was very friendly. If you are in town, don't skip this wonderful dining experience.

    Salmon sandwich was superb.

One of our favorite dining experiences. The peer and beet salad was amazing, as was the chicken sandwich. We also loved our draft beer and the waiter, Kiki, was the best ever!

We tried this establishment on a whim one day as the new place around the corner wasn't open yet. We were very pleased with everything we had that day too! We of course had to order an olive tray! To go with that with also ordered the sticky salmon and a Dandy bottle of Rose wine. Our service was great and the place is pretty quaint.

Sorry I forgot take pics before we ate.

Wow! We will be going back tomorrow. The service was fantastic and the food was so good!! They serve shared portions sizes. We got the ribeye and for our sides the mushrooms and the smashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms weren't just button or portabellas. They were a nice mixture of oyster and I believe shitake. ( I could be wrong about that. Tomorrow we plan to try the Sticky Salmon

From the moment I stepped into the building, the service was fantastic! The options on the menu are so unique that you will simply want to try everything. It's a nice book mark for me to come back to Wimberley just for this dining experience. Quite affordable and casual, there's a wide range of wines and dishes for you to choose from personally, I went with something I've never tried before which is the Barbacoa donuts. I wish I could express in words, the flavor, palette of this unique dish, the blue corn jalapeño dough almost gives a sweet cornbread flavor and definitely packs the heat. The Barbacoa is so tender, but not too greasy so that it felt amazing and easy to consume. My whole mouth is on fire but in the best way I would 1000% come here again and experience all of the other specialties they offer let's not forget this is such a cute place to go with friends or even a casual date.

Charming, quirky tap room/ wine taste/ restaurant/market. Elegant dinning room sandwiched in between the tap room and wall full of wines. Today we just came in for a beer and they had great selection from several different Texas breweries. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and I found the right beer for the day's mood.

Their feta dip is amazing! I love the citrus touch to it.

Wimberly best kept secret. This isn't just a market, it's a chef inspired food experience with great wine and beer selections.

Warm welcome & wonderful service Sunday we strolled around the square and stopped at several restaurants to see their menu and ambiance. Originally we wanted to go to Community Pizza for a casual lunch and then pick up a bottle of wine at Dos Olivos. But the wait was so long that we decided to eat at Dos Oilivos instead. The interior is small but a casual classy vibe for adults featuring a wall of wine selections, hanging plants, and comfy seating. Each table has a cute succulent from Ceremony and there is a small selection of goods to take home, including pickles and jam. I decided on the apple cinnamon syrup and I'm very excited to try it when I make my annual autumn brunch buffet! Now as for lunch, the food was a mixed bag. I want be sure to emphasize that the scrambled eggs were absolutely amazing! Creamy, soft, and cooked to perfection. The menu just listed 2 eggs any style so I need to go back and ask what makes the eggs so delicious! As for the steak, I was definitely disappointed/ the ribs eye was grisly and more raw than medium. I forget the type of sauce but it was good. I would just ask for less or on the side - a good steak doesn't need to be drenched imo. What else? My boyfriend tried the bbq donuts and said they were weird...so a fellow yelper will have to try them to see what the hype is all about. Oh and I was expecting something more elevated for the kale pasta dish. It was just store bought noodles and a thin sauce with a few pieces of kale. Honestly I think I would recommend you splurge and treat yourself to the new steakhouse Wimberley supper club - the outdoor patio was classy with gas lamps and jazz musician. We struck out on the wine flight but I would definitely love to go back and spend more time on the selections. And a wine slushy would be great! Overall, I would give an A+ for service - absolutely amazing and why we will return B+ for ambiance - nice seating and relaxing vibe but too loud for chatting about the pairings or having a romantic meal. The outdoor patio is still under construction but I'm curious when it will be completed and what the ambiance will be like.

    Durst!!! So much dust!!!

Picture this - five people walk into an empty restaurant, and I mean empty. We were one of two tables seated. Easy morning for the kitchen, right? Wrong. We ordered: three burger/ sandwich entrees, a burrata salad, and squash gnocchi. Simple enough. But here's where the comedy of errors begins. Thirty minutes later - yes, thirty - our server strolls over to inform me they're out of burrata. That's right, it took them half an hour to realize they didn't have the ingredients for the dish I ordered. Fine, I pivot to the barbacoa torta. Ten minutes later, guess what? No barbacoa either. At this point, I half expected them to tell me they were out of air. So I settle for a feta appetizer, because what could possibly go wrong with that? Well, everything, apparently. Two minutes later, our burgers and sandwiches arrive - for three out of five people. The gnocchi? Still MIA. So now we're awkwardly staring at each other, three of us eating, two of us waiting. Ten more minutes crawl by, and the gnocchi finally makes its grand entrance, just as the others are finishing up. The feta? The finale of this tragic performance, served as everyone else was pushing their plates away. Let's talk about pacing. This wasn't just a staggered service; it was a full-blown disaster. They brought food out in the most chaotic, disjointed way possible. By the time my food arrived, everyone else was ready to bolt. And to top it all off, the food was a total letdown. The gnocchi? Bland, flavorless, like they forgot the seasoning in the same place they misplaced the burrata. The burger? Less than mediocre, a sad, uninspired assembly that could barely pass for a decent meal. We were hoping for at least one redeeming factor, but instead, we got a disappointing dish after disappointing dish. This place didn't just drop the ball on service; they dropped it in the kitchen too. We walked out wishing we had just stayed home. To make matters worse, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting--I'll spare you the details, but the photos say it all. It's clear this place doesn't care about cleanliness either. Bottom line: If you enjoy watching a restaurant fumble in real-time, by all means, give this place a try. But if you're hoping for a decent meal without the side of frustration, stay away.

Fantastic. Best bite in Wimberley. Pork belly chicharon and French toast is a great way to start your day or sober up from the night before.

Service - we have been here about 4-5 times, but service has never been too great or too friendly. The bar on the beer side is always pleasant but the tasting bar side always has a bit of a tiny rude vibe - and I don't mention it ever but I'm in the wine industry and we don't see this normally. Also tonight we were asked to move to a different table as they didn't prepare for a Harry Potter event ahead of time just as we settled in after a rough day (and our young pup finally chilled out). It felt we were being pushed out and the other table was by the window/door that was glass so I was cold. My senior mom was cold after we had found a great spot that was warm for her. Live music tonight was also quite off - I wouldn't suggest this place anymore. I'm not sure if in the last year it has gone down hill but it's no longer worth the drive for a mediocre experience. They gave many potential beautiful spaces but they don't utilize them, nor update them, so the vibe is just outdated. No music on the speakers can be heard when there isn't live music. So sorry to not write the best review here but it's honest.

What I like about small vineyards is they have the freedom to experiment and create a variety of wines and blends using different varieties and winemaking styles. This innovation leads to fresh and evolving tasting experiences that keep wine interesting, exciting, and perhaps most importantly, personal. Small vineyards also focus on quality and sustainable farming, and produce smaller quantities of wine. This locally owned small vineyard has bold reds and crisp whites and breathtaking views at sunset. For my partner, I purchased a bottle of the 2019 Mourvèdre. This vino is smokey and bold with cholocatre undertones. This vino will pair well with steak and other red meats. While I am not a fan of reds, the quality and legs on this vino is undeniable. I purchased a glass of 2021 Barrel Aged Trebbiano which was reminiscent of a Cabernet Sauvignon blanc. Cabernet Blanc wines have a flavor profile that's similar to a mix of Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. They can be dry, but some are made to be slightly sweet. This Trebbiano was more dry that sweet which I adore. Aside from the vinos, the sunset views when sitting on the deck are stunning. My partner and I sat and watched the sun go down with glasses in hand. The vino coupled with the views made this outing magical. The service provided by those working here is outstanding. #supportlocal
