I'm not friendly to my products, this wallet has gone through getting soaked countless times, flung in rages, ground up, scratched, it would beat you in a bare-knuckle fight. As a daily use item, its leather has aged less than me, and this is coming from a guy who doesn't treat things with care. I feel kind of bad for the wallet in all honesty. But me? I'm doing great because I had a well-made product last through all my B.S. Funny enough, I stil had his business card tucked away, the original one I snagged from his display table, because I kept saying "you should go buy another Black Bear Leather wallet... that guy deserves everyone's business" and then I'd get distracted and life gets in the way (ADHD amirite?). I went back online to check to see if they're still in business so I could buy a wallet again from someone who makes great products. I don't know whether or not they're still producing, but Michael, your wallet has been a steadfast friend to me for a decade. It's still in complete usable condition and could probably go another 10 years, it's just the section of leather that does all the bending when you open and close the wallet that's a little rough on the edges. I kept telling myself to go buy another one. If you're still making these bad boys, I hope you respond to this, it was worth every penny. Love this thing. It's the only leather product like this I've ever owned that's been this resilient... it truly is a bear. I'd pay for another product that lasts ten years plus... Thank you for your expert craftsmanship and quality, how do I get another one... Here's pictures as you should have way more reviews of ACTUAL lifetime use. The seams on this wallet are still pristine. If you're no longer making them, CHEERS to you on whatever next chapter came your way. On Saturday, I arrived at 5pm and the place was closed. I thought maybe they had decided to close shop early, since there hours on their website and front door say open until 6pm. Maybe they had an emergency, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. On Sunday, I showed up at 12:20pm, since they opened at noon. And guess what, they were closed again. There was no sign on the door to indicate anything of the store being closed. I couldn't even call them to inquire about their hours since they have no number listed on their website and their instagram account had no mentions of store closures that day. I'm giving this place two stars because lack of professionalism to inform your customers that you don't abide by the hours posted on your website or front door. Too bad, I was really hoping to be able to shop in the store, since there were a few things that caught my eye from the window. My recommendation for this shop: Update your business hours or use your social media account to communicate if your business will be closed so they don't waste their time.

I wanted these chairs to be renewed but without destroying their late 1800s character. I opted for a green velvet. I was confident that Mary would take good care of these chairs when she saw them and got excited about the restoration. These chairs turned out beautiful - Mary restored the springs, batting and straps to preserve the firm but comfortable seating. The velvet and piping work are beautiful. When I showed up to pick it up, I was stunned with the quality, and the entire interior was transformed. The quality equaled OEM Porsche seats, and maybe better: mass produced seats have "perfect" stitching, which means automated/mass produced. My insurance rates would have gone up, if they even would have paid that much for a seat.
