If you are looking for any kind of Album this is the place to go! They have all kinds of merchandise available. Buttons all sizes, T-shirts, bands, movies. I purchased an Escape from New York shirt. Love that movie. The owner is always very friendly and helpful. This shirt in the picture is of very good quality, Gildan, so it will last a long time. Prices are reasonable and they even sell leather coats. Happy shopping! read more

Great selection of records, pins and T shirts ! As well as great service ! Will definitely be returning

Great selection of band shirts. Very affordable. Anyone into punk and/or metal should check it out. I plan to stop in again the next time I'm in Lancaster. Highly recommended! read more

This store is amazing! It's the only store I've ever been to that actually caters to punk, metal, and rock fans. It's so convenient to walk into a store and buy a metal shirt or record rather than get it online. (They do have a site also!!). They also have a ton of accessories, pins, patches, and more. I make it part of my routine to go every weekend! read more

Twice happy I've ordered patches from AYP twice now, both times have been during the recent covid and intl. Shipping mess. Both times, the orders came only a couple days "late", which is to say the shipping widget says "3-5 business days to most major centers", and each time the order arrived on the 7th business day, and I don't live in a "major center." The patches themselves are great quality for good price. They come as they appear on the website, no bootleg or shitty screen copy versions here. I've never had cause to contact the customer service team, but confirmation emails are thorough and have clear info ensuring I know what's going on. The only thing I would caution canadian buyers on, and this isn't about AYP but the shipper they use, "Globalpost", is that once your shipment hits canada, Globalpost will just hand your package over to Canada post and wash their hands of your delivery, so if you order expedited or priority shipping and your tracking info on the Globalpost site just stops in some random spot, check with Canada post in your city - they probably have your package. read more

Angry Young and Poor - Patch order #2 - Accessories Near Me - Columbia, Pennsylvania

Not a huge metal fan, but I came here with some friends and the store is great! Excellent selection for vinyls, pins, CDs, and shoes. The employees were incredibly kind and they have a fitting room for clothes. The store was clean and charming. My only issue was the prices of t-shirts, the quality didn't really justify their price. Everything else was great though, if you like punk, metal, 70s, 80s and 90s rock, this is the store for you. read more

Angry Young and Poor - Two of the records we got (I already took the plastic seal off). - Accessories Near Me - Columbia, Pennsylvania

Ordered a record all the way from Western Australia. That's one hell of a trip. The product shipped quickly, a lot of care was taken in packing and shipping the product safely. Very happy all round. Would recommend read more

Great Punk record and clothing store Best place locally for punks, goths etc. Definitely check this place out read more

Yikes!!! The only thing worse than the quality of the clothes is the customer service. The woman who responded to my inquiry was SO RUDE, I am still in shock. There are plenty of other sites that offer similar styles but with better quality and outstanding customer service so save your time and money and shop elsewhere (Dogpile-77, Dolls Kill, and GhoulishGirls just to name a few stores to try) read more

This place is a hidden gem among the residential block of Orange street it hides in. My friend was searching for less trafficked stores to score some new clothes and came across Angry Young and Poor. After browsing the website and looking up directions, she insisted we had to go. I'll have to admit; they definitely sell different stuff in the store than I expected (which I told the employee working there). I'd say about 90% of their female clothing on display was pinup/rockability which I loved, but my friend was definitely shocked by. They also had men's clothing, music (records, etc), handbags, and shoes; if you see stuff on their website, bring in your list! If it's not on the floor, the employees call over to the warehouse and have it brought out for you! They have some great brands (Sourpuss, Rock Steady, Stop Staring, Switchblade Stiletto and more), so if you're in the area, it's definitely worth a look! read more

I come from a small town a little over 5 hours (250 miles) away from Lancaster, so I thought this store was absolutely awesome. I've never seen anything like it! Great music, atmosphere, and merchandise. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you like Green Day, Johnny Cash, the Misfits, etc. (just to name some more popular artists/bands.) It's badass.! And they've got an online store, I'll have to check it out! read more

80s metal stuff here as well Love this place. Guy at the counter was friendly so that'll keep me going back

Ordered 3 shirts online for crazy cheap. The quality is awesome, the shipping was very fast. Overall I can't recommend AYP enough. It's hard for me to find clothes that I like. The one thing I will say is maybe order a size up. Will definitely be spending lots of money here read more

Terrible online customer service. Their return policy is abysmal. I had been using their website every no and then for 15 years. The last couple times I had issues with my purchases. I decided to return the last pair of pants I got because they weren't as described, and just terrible quality. Customer service was rude. And they only partially refunded my purchase, and only for store credit. I don't even want anything from their shi** store anymore. They're certainly not run by punks anymore. read more

I ordered a leather jacket from AYP, the shipping was fast and the jacket is awesome. My brother and I ordered from them a lot when we were teenagers and in terms of good product and fast shipping, it doesn't seem like much has changed read more

Honestly I've been ordering stuff from here since I was like 16 and I'm 34 now. Super bummer when I ordered a jacket and didn't like it. Tried to return it for the refund. I paid this obnoxiously large amount to have it shipped back within the return policy time. I shipped it well before the 2 month period but as you can imagine mail was running slow at the peak of Covid. Whatever. It ended up arriving there like a day later than 60 days. The amount of rude emails sent back to me when I asked for the refund. Like straight just sinisterly mean and rude. Like whatever man. I want to support small punk stores all the time. And I don't think any customer should expect to be treated like royalty. Everyone should just be like humans to each other. But I really don't expect to be straight up made to feel like an a-hole and when I'm literally just trying to make sure we still shop at small punk businesses and don't give our money to evil places like Amazon.... read more

Awesome selection of apparel with a few expensive items like Doc Martens or Fred Perry (not over-priced however), a wall of vinyls, and cool miscellaneous merch like patches, accessories etc. It's always a good time with interesting finds. *Anecdote* I was visiting Lanc and decided to stop by one time with my 60-yr old, conservative and country music-loving, fairly thick accented, African mom and she loved it! The staff was really chill, didn't look at us sideways or pass judgement and gave an approving knod of the merch I grabbed. Truly punk imo. Lol read more

After my friend has a horrible experience with there customer service on Facebook, I dont think I would even consider ordering from this place. Its not reasonably priced, and what sort of professional company would tell its clientele to "fuck themselves"? SUPER unprofessional. read more

My Fiance bought me something over the weekend with a credit card she rarely uses. Today she gets a call from her bank stating that her account was compromised on 2 different transactions. We were able to dispute the claim and get her money back. Funny thing is a few years ago this happened to me as well. I couldn't place the blame on AY&P at the time since I used my card in a few different places but now it makes me wonder. Defiantly wont be using this site anymore. Super shady read more

I ordered from their online store recently and let me tell you, the quality of their belts is garbage. It came rusty and 20 years old-looking right out the bag, but I didn't bother returning it as the return shipping would have cost half the belts price. Anyways, I wore it once and it ended up chipping and cracking to the point of unusability. Cant wear it now, waste of money. Maybe don't sell stuff that has been wasting away in the back room since the 15th century? read more

I didn't realize it until I took a step out of the store, but I totally used to order from this store online when I was 14! Being in suburbia and without a car, I took what little money I scraped together to buy punk rock t-shirts off their online website. Having poor working class parents, I would work as a server during the summer to get enough money to buy some clothes and maybe a few records- my uniform were doc martens, jeans, and a black punk t-shirt- aus-rotten, zounds, caustic christ, you name it. A decade later, I'm still into the same music, but I've toned it down to become a teacher. Instead of sporting t-shirts with a crucifixed Jesus, I'm wearing button up blouses and skirts, my hair is a "normal" color, and I took out every piercing I've ever had (never could take care of them). My also "punk rock turned educator" SO from Atlanta who has a compulsion to check out every damn record store in every town he visits decides to check out Lancaster county to pop his "Amish spotting" virginity (don't ask for an explanation), so of course we browse every other punk record store in town. Despite being outwardly "normal" these days we love picking up a punk album or two and I personally still enjoy browsing the racks of punk / rockabilly clothes I eyeballed as a teen but (still) couldn't afford. I felt like a lot of this stuff was familiar to me, from the selection of record titles to style of clothing but only realized when I looked at their logo when I was leaving that this was my punk rock oasis during my teenage years. I was so happy that it was still thriving (and pretty busy!) and selling the exact same stuff when I have forgotten about it all these years. We picked up a few good albums and went on our merry way. read more

Very cool music and fashion shop way off the main drag in Lancaster. Don't let the long walk scare you, it's worth it. Fashions we've only seen online and a great selection of sizes. Friendly help too. read more

GREAT stuff!!! Extremely good and reasonable prices, great selection with a desirable variety. Just started to use their site (of which is very easy to navigate thankfully) and was very pleased to find exactly what I was looking for after many a tireless internet search elsewhere. I'm entirely grateful at the ease of use and professionalism when ordering, and the products in question shipped very fast! I intend to hit them up again in the future when my cravings for this quality kick in. read more

I've shopped from here quite a few times now. Best shop for everything punk, skin, and in between. Not only are the prices good, but so are their deal and stuff. I would also like to say that the ship fast! Faster than any places I've ordered from before. Nothing was missing. Everything was perfect. This place is perfect. I don't know what more to add! Oi! Great selection and online ordering experience! The dress I ordered was shipped promptly and arrived within a few days (with free shipping!). Will definitely order from AYP again. read more

there are two types of punks: the punks that become disenchanted with mainstream culture, for one reason or another, and decide to live an individualistic life among like-minded people, and the punks that rebel against "society" in any way whatsoever just to piss other people off. although the merch at this store is great, the overall attitude seems to just be an overall anti- with no particular rhyme or reason. does anyone really want or need a che guevara alarm clock? the answer is no. i overlooked my problems with this place because they have some really great clothing, but i could hear my husband grinding his teeth outside the dressing room. we left as fast as we could and i dont think i could have been more disappointed with the shop itself. however, i'll give them the second star because i rarely find clothes i like, and i really liked a lot of the stuff here. the clientele of this shop are the same people that shop at hot topic. teenagers with their parents mostly. there was also an elderly couple that looked very out of place. read more

I was very excited to visit this store when I made a trip to Lancaster, and it was well worth it. They have avast amount of vinyls from the usual bands like Green Day to the obscure like Backslider. Their vinyl prices are some of the best I seen, so you will not break the bank here. They also have a vast array of shirts, punk accessories, shoes, etc. The dude behind the counter was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. This will be my go to stop for my punk vinyl fix when I hit up Lancaster City. read more

I absolutely love this place. As I live in Chicago, I've only ordered online over the last several years (since 2004 or so) but I've always wanted to stop in. They have a huge variety of music, band shirts, clothing, Docs, studded everything, and patches among a ton of other stuff. Every order I have ever placed here has been sent out super fast and always with the customer in mind. An oasis in the desert for all things punk rock, rockabilly, and metal. Thanks AY&P. read more

Really great store for punk cds and merchandise. Reasonable prices and a friendly staff are also what makes AYP stand out. Never heard of this place until I wanted to buy some shirts for a punk fan friend in Japan. I've only dealt with their customer service by email, but every response I got from them was not only extremely fast (beyond MY expectation) but more than adequate - unlike my questions. I asked a lot of stupid questions too and they fielded all of it prompt n proper. I'll update this post once I get the order, but judging from what I've experienced so far I highly doubt I'll be disappointed. 5 effin stars. Absolutely nothing negative to state. read more
