So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. The food was really good, but then when it was time to pay, the server/bartender tried to make us pay regular dinner price for an item on the lunch menu. We ordered straight off the iPad with her help, but when it was time to pay, she tried to say the items weren't available even though we had showed her what we wanted directly from the IPad photo menu. She said we'd have to wait 20 minutes for a manager to help us. When the manager arrived (from another room), the server tried to say that the item wasn't available and then she tried to say that we had ordered a different meal than what was shown. It took us about 20 minutes to have our bill adjusted. Even though the food was very good, the customer service was not good in the least.
