They reported on a routine service that my brakes needed attention. When went for a repair that was booked, they said there was not a problem. Meanwhile, some dolt busted my door handle so I asked Wilsons to repair it. They said it would cost over £100. I left the vehicle overnight but several times during the next day I had to phone for a progress report. After 8 hours I was told it was ready - but they should have called me. Found their hourly rate was £105! A lot of money for a poor service. read more

Josh and Frazer were super helpful & informative without being overly "salesy". the car was beautifully presented and the whole buying process was a pleasure. great warranty offered too! read more

Tom is very friendly and has offered us a very professional service. We are satisfied with his explanations and the openness. We are also satisfied with the car we bought. Excellent read more

Shocking aftercare, had the car less than 1 year and broken down twice. This time the car is undrivable. Wilsons said they won't look at the car for two months, so no car for two months unless we take it elsewhere and have to pay. Told by Wilson's you bought a RAC warranty from us so take it somewhere else and claim on your policy!! Wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing the car. read more

My wife ordered an Abarth 595 from Wilsons on June 6th 2022, through the motability scheme. It was all accepted and signed for on that date. In mid June Abarth left the motability scheme, which shouldn't affect the out come of our contract... Except for the fact that despite a phone call the following Monday from wilsons that the order had been sent through they actually SAT ON THE PAPERWORK FOR A MONTH only submitting it at the beginning of July. Fast forward to now 5 months later, We received a phone call THIS WEEK from Wilsons informing us very sheepishly that Abarth are refusing to honour said contract as by the time they received our order they'd left motability. LIVID does not come close. read more

Although the local well established dealer in Epsom and well known, sadly I have not been tempted, mainly because I drove a number of company vehicle's of different fleets. There are many compliments on their own web site giving them 10/10 ,which by them still being there might be correct. read more

We bought a Nissan Quashi that was still within supposed warranty . After dropping the vehicle for the day & juggling a baby & toddler (family car) to accommodate, the service centre charged for the unblocking of wiper jets & LEFT THE UNDER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COVER HALF HANGING OFF COMPLETE WITH THE CABLE TIES & BUNGGIE CORDS I HAD UDD TO BODGE IT TOGETHER!?? I am in complete dis-belief that there mechanics didn't screw up some replacement bolts to remedy the problem. After care is non existent read more

Terrible customer service and problem resolution - AVOID We purchased a Peugeot e208 at the asking price during lockdown. Given it was only 9 months old, had the dealership as the first owner, and the Covid restrictions, we opted for an online purchase after seeing a video. The car arrived with a completely worn, unsafe no-name replacement tyre (not Michelin as all the others), 1200 more mileage on the clock than supposed to, a service due shortly, and scratches on the middle console. The guy who delivered it only shrugged it off. Wilsons didn't reply to my complaint that followed for two weeks, allowing the time to return it to pass. Upon numerous calls and emailing yet another department they offered to pay for the tyre replacement and the service. This was the absolute minimum, no compensation for the excess mileage. This reflects bad practices, terrible customer service, and a poor purchase experience to say the least. They do as little as they can or less. read more

Worst customer service in the world. Will never ever purchase another car from this company! Had an issue with my gear box, which I had to prove to the technician by driving it around with him in. It was then sent to an outside company called Waterfalls who then scratched my car up and couldn't find a fault. I then had to fight to get the scratches fixed by Wilson and it's now taken 3 attempts. Issue with the gear box is now being classed as a common fault and they are refusing to do anything about it. I'm now having to take it to BMW myself to get them to find the fault before wilsons will fix it because of it being labour intensive. I'd imagine I'll have another argument on my hands when I have proof of the fault. Communication is a joke, with either not being rung back or being told different things by different people including that my car was ready when two days later it still wasn't. Avoid at all costs. read more

Wilsons of Epsom sales policy seems to run in two streams in a parallel universe! In the showroom and up to delivery Wow! (see reviews) After that watch out! For domestic reasons two keys are a must and I checked that two (Handsfree)were with supplied with the purchased Megane . The deal required two trade-in Renaults, and once again great help from the sales person ie: I would drive car 1 to the showroom, the deal would be finalised, a driver would drive me back to my home, pick up car 2,and back to Wilsons. Unfortunatly the salesman did not ensure the driver had the key for car 2 or the spare for the Megane. On calling back to base, the salesman left in a demonstrator with the all-important car key 2 to rescue his driver and trade-in. . . Still great service! . . . But in his haste the second Megane key was still on his desk. About this stage I was switched to the second customer handling mode, I was assured the missing key would be posted to me ASAP. After that zilch. No reply to many voicemails or emails (I did receive a very syrupy video hoping I was enjoying my new purchase in the sunshine) and finally a email stating that there was no 2nd key and the previous owner had been contacted as confirmation, but an extensive shearch had been made for this non-existing key(?) I now have had quote for £175 for a cheap(?) replacement. Be Warned. read more

Really I can't recommend this company, overpriced and very poor customer service. I nearly bought from them, so glad the sale didn't go through. Even though I lost my £500 deposit, I saved £1000 and got a better spec vehicle with less mileage and newer car. They prefer if you get finance too, so they can rinse you. I paid cash and maybe that's why they treated us so badly. Do your homework and drive them down in price as they are ridiculously expensive. Good luck read more

Awful service. Car required routine service and MoT. Passed MoT without problem. Picked up car and gears were awful - they had been perfect prior to Wilsons touching the car! Gears will not engage properly and the clutch has to be 'pumped' to get them to engage. Wilsons not interested and off-hand, not accepting that the problem was anything to do with them, despite the fact that the problem only arose after they 'serviced' it! Beware - they will not be interested in any complaints once the money has been paid, We'll never use them again. read more

Stay away from this scams had a appointment to test drive a car travelled 60 miles when arrived at the site I was told by the salesman the car wasn't there and also even if was can't be released to purchase between 3/6 months On top had a parking ticket as the parking restrictions in force on Sundays so people's be aware do not buy cars from this scams read more

Avoid at all costs. SENT US THE WRONG CAR AND THEY DIDN'T KNOW IT! Made a total mess of the sale. When they did realise their mistake, they sent us the correct car that was full of dents. The following customer service was dire and that's being polite. Took 6 months to get the V5C to us. read more

If you want poor service even with a new car, if you want your car to be damaged while it's being serviced, if you want to be treated with contempt, buy your car from Wilsons of Epsom. In short - Please don't buy your car from Wilsons of Epsom. My wife bought a brand new Fiat 500 from Wilsons last year. Within weeks the engine developed a serious fault which they denied any responsibility for. After the fault caused an accident the car was finally fixed at another dealership. We recently took the car back to Wilsons for it's first service. When we picked it up it had new scratches on the inside and outside, again Wilsons denied all knowledge, even though some of the internal scratches were surrounding a switch they had just replaced - they said we'd done them!!!!! Better still, when we picked up the car there was fuel missing - that's right - fuel missing. Another customer who was there had encountered the same problem, when she picked up her car it was missing fuel, had Sainsburys parking tickets inside and rubbish under the seats - they'd been using her car while they had it for service. Please don't use this garage, they are the worst business I have ever come across, and my wife wishes she had bought elsewhere. read more

So I take my year old car in for a service, Fri 1st April 2016. All is going well until the car is returned to me, where I discover the heating control dial is not fully functional - it was on dropping the car off, it was a frosty morning, I had used it absolutely fine. First I was fobbed off with "well its not our fault, that wouldn't be part of the service" - despite me informing them the dial was definitely in a different position when I left the vehicle. A manager intervened, and was actually marginally useful - the car is under warranty, they can fix it and provide me with a free hire car, when would I like to bring it in - we went for Tuesday 5th April 2016 - all good I think. Take car in at 8am on 5th April only to be informed by a somewhat less than amicable chap that the car had actually been booked in for the following day. I asked if I should come back - no it'll be fine they said. Only plus to this story - the car rental guy - excellent service - and I drive away in a fiat 500, a car half the size of my usual one - please note you CAN NOT put pets in this vehicle, I have a large dog. Tuesday afternoon I am told the wrong part had been ordered, and the dash board had been stripped out so my car will not be ready until Weds. Weds afternoon I am told it is - a much bigger job than expected, and the dash board needs to be stripped out, er- didn't you do this yesterday? so I could not collect the car. Thurs still not been fixed, voicemail at 4pm, to give yet more lame excuses, and lies, and to tell me once again it is not fixed. I imagine my car has been pushed down the list of things to do as this is an under warranty job, so I will not be parting with any cash. Its now Friday, as of Midday there is absolutely NO sign of this car being fixed today. I have informed them I am having it back one way or another TODAY, and I will rebook when these so called mechanics DO have the time to fix it...... so that I can continue on my life ( dog training, agility classes, long country walks) without the limitation of having a car I can not put a dog in. I am literally gobsmacked by the lack of customer service, lies, and pathetic excuses I have been given by this garage, they have had the car 4 days now, for a 1 day job and its still not fixed!!! They want "customers for life" not bloddy likely. read more

Awful company. Tried to buy a pre-reg car and agreed the price as per the website. Signed contract but was rung a few weeks later to say they'd got the price wrong and I'd have to pay more. They were trying to sell it still even though I had a contract with them. Customer service was appalling. Would not do the honourable thing and honour the original price. Sent my deposit back in the post with no explanation. They do not care if they get bad reviews or not. You have been warned! read more

I am experiencing really poor service from this garage. My vehicle has been with them for nearly two weeks. They haven't contacted me to provide an update, don't answer phones, respond to messages or emails. When I challenged one of the quotes for some minor scratches it was reduced from £1200 to £450. Very unimpressed at the moment. read more

worst customer service ever. Will never be taking my business there. payed deposit for a car to find it had already been sold after even arranging a test drive. second time there, so close to purchasing a car and after waiting for over 50 minutes they told me that the car was a one already sold. the lack of organisation or attitude towards wasting my time disgusts me read more

I bought a Fiat 500 Pop LD14FWK from Wilson's in July 2016. The second time I drove it, the car started making a strange noise from the wheels. I took the car back to Wilson's three times, but the car still squeaked. Wilson's paid for an independent inspection, which found a problem with the wheels and a problem with the engine. The sales director,Brent Williams, deliberately hid some of the inspection findings from me. I had to threaten court action in order to get a refund, and Wilson's still deducted £500 from the price that I paid. In October 2016, they put the car back on website, and claim it has had one owner. Wilson's sold this car brand new to a local lady, and then later sold it to me. They know it has had two owners, but refuse to change their advert. This is deliberate deception. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. read more
