Do not buy from Said Motors. Untrustworthy and do not seem to be aware of trading standards. Sold a car to a friend of mine that proceeded to break down numerous times within a week yet they didn't want to know and refused to refund in full. AVOID I wish I'd seen these reviews before giving my hard earned cash to this crook. I paid £2000 for a Corsa and within 30 minutes an engine warning light had come on. Took it back and he wasn't interested in fixing it - told me to get it serviced. I threatened him with Trading Standards, quoted the Sale of Goods Act, all to no avail. Anytime I had a question after my purchase, they were always happy to help. DON'T BOTHER! I came specifically to test drive a Merc SLK but found nearly flat rear tyres and was told that it's been sitting for a couple weeks (seriously? a couple weeks???) I was then just driven a quarter of a mile around the industrial estate then asked, 'you getting it?' I then asked for a test drive and the response was: but it's a good car, why not just take it? I then finally got a test drive but was told not to drive it on the road? My test drive lasted less than 2 minutes and in second gear. I handed over the key and left quickly. Not sure if the car isn't insured, they're sexist and not keen on women driving cars or there was something dodgy about the car, but my treatment was terrible. STAY AWAY!!! read more
