Please avoid this garage, I very wrongly presumed that all VW garages had to keep the prices of…read moreservices carried out and parts the same or at least close, and I always expect to pay a premium in London due to overheads of the establishment. I realise also that during an MOT you can expect to pay a certain amount of money, I don't have a problem with this. However if I had gone to Alan Day VW on Finchley road my bill would have been half what I have paid today. only a few miles away. When asked why they couldn't price match they said 'we are only a small business and not very busy' I'm not sure this is a valid reason to hike up the prices and overcharge customers. I feel completely scammed, if I hadn't had my Dad double check what they were asking for (I'm 30 just not very car savvy) I would have paid £750 for a cam belt, rather than £450 at Alan Day VW on Finchley road. Please don't make my mistake, shop around, go to a garage that actually values you as a customer rather than trying to get every penny out of you that they can. its not worth the one star I've given it.

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at how professional the set was . The wheels were removed and replacement wheels fitted , until 4 days later when the wheels were ready to be collected. Sometimes when you phone a business for a quote there is an urgency or an impatience in their tone of voice, but Adil was very calm and thorough in his explanation of the process and what I would get for my money. Karl went above and beyond in sourcing me new shiny wheel nuts to replace the old rusty ones, at half the price that Euro Car Parts were quoting. They even loaned me some nice Merc alloys whilst mine were being powder coated, which took a couple of days. All in all a fantastic experience, and cheaper than a lot of other quotes I received. As you can see from the photos, my wheels were badly corroded but now they look brand new. If you are thinking of spray vs powder, all I can say is I'm glad I went for powder. There's a nice reassurance they they've been oven baked and sand blasted and coated in laquer etc rather than just sanded and sprayed. Would 100% return again.
