We decided to check out this dance studio since we saw they were teaching a Kpop class. Luckily…read morethey were teaching 2.0 by BTS and we were excited. This was our first time at the studio. There's plenty of parking, and the studio is on the smaller side, but nice (there's two dance rooms--one larger one and one smaller one). Since the Kpop class was so popular, there were a lot of people, but we were in the smaller room, since it sounded like there was another group training for some sort of performance. Once they left, we switched over to the larger room. Isabel teaches the Kpop classes and she was so friendly and encouraging. She was patient and great at breaking down the dance moves, while moving the class at an appropriate pace. It is a 1.5 hour class, so we finished all the moves with 15 minutes to break into dance groups (not exactly my favorite part, because my brain can't usually learn all the moves in the same class). Of note, they do record the group dances, but you can probably sit out if you want (I just stick around because of peer pressure and low key want to remember how I looked from when I started until mastering the dance). It's also nice that she will be kinda doing the dance on the side to guide you. There's no level listed on the class, so I'm assuming it's all levels. Based on being at other dance studios, I think 2.0 was more of an intermediate level class, but it was very doable! Overall, I really enjoyed my class with Isabel!

She also lets you request whatever kpop song you want to warm up to and is just a great teacher and dancer overall. It is a stress free class where it's ok to make mistakes. Classes are Tuesday nights 8-9:30pm and Saturdays 3:30-5pm. The dance changes every week. You do learn the whole dance in 1.5 hours so it's fast pace, but you don't need to be perfect. I just have fun and don't worry about getting it perfect. She does record it at the end but you don't have to be in the recording if you don't want to. I recommend you bring a water bottle. If you have trouble finding it, it is near Vinnie's Pizza.

I really appreciate their patience as I am new to both types of classes but being home a lot, I know I needed to keep my body moving. I always feel pretty calm after either class I take. Payment is also super easy. Love the Venmo option! I've never had any issues. I follow Pittsburg Performing Arts on Instagram and I like how they update any schedule changes really quickly. Helps me plan my weekly schedule! Also, when I send a message via Instagram, I always get a response within the day if not a couple of hours. Great experience!

Every instructor she's had has brought out the best in her and has inspired her to do more in dance. The lessons she's learned here go way beyond how to plié or jeté. With the help of the instructors here, she's learned to come out of her shell, to work with a team, and to perform. The director Miss Sharon's love of dance and of her community is infectious and that feeling trickles down to everyone else who works there. Miss Brittany, who manages the studio, is always easy to reach and is very thorough when answering any questions you may have. Miss Celine, Miss Jessica, Miss Jeannette, and Mr. Ricky have all taught my daughter and each one of them has challenged her to dance better while having fun. If you're thinking about putting your child in dance or even if you'd like to dance yourself, I would highly recommend you give Pittsburg Performing Arts Academy a try. You just might love it like we do!

If zero stars were an option, I would choose it…read more We enrolled our 3-year-old in an introductory dance class expecting a supportive and age-appropriate environment. What we experienced was the opposite. During the 4:30pm "Intro to Dance" class on 1/30/26, our child was separated from the group for ~ 15 minutes after a minor balance-related accident during a circle activity. From direct observation through the classroom window, she appeared shocked and not crying at first, but her distress began only after being pulled aside and instructed to sit alone. She remained isolated for the rest of the session, including routine end-of-class activities. When we attempted to discuss the situation afterward, the teacher characterized the incident as "intentional" without providing any factual explanation. Later written communication from studio owner denied that any isolation or disciplinary action had occurred, and also denied that the teacher had described the incident as "intentional." which directly conflicted with what we personally witnessed. We understand that toddlers lose balance and accidents happen. What is concerning is not the accident itself, but the lack of transparency, inconsistent accounts, and absence of clear behavioral management standards for very young children. We withdrew immediately. If you are looking for an environment that treats young children with dignity and values honest communication with parents, I suggest looking elsewhere.

We love it here!…read more Both of my daughters are enrolled in musical theater here. When I reached out the staff was super responsive (shoutout to Lauren). She helped me find the right class for them. We enrolled, my girls enjoyed it and even got this super cute welcome box. It made my girls day. There are so many classes. I recommend coming for a trial and taking a look at the lists. There's dance, singing, performing arts. The reality is there's something for everyone looking for performance based classes. They are attentive to the kids and so far this has been a fantastic experience. This place is located near Brentwood fine meats. Parking lot out front so easy access. The kids perform in studios and while you can't see inside you can watch them on zoom. I thought that was pretty creative. Highly recommend!

We decided to leave at the end of 2021 because the studio was still requiring masks & it was my personal choice to no longer mask my children at that point. We also felt like it was impersonal due to so many kids, teachers, & classes. The move was right for us at the time. Fast forward to my daughter being 7.5 & wanting to take more classes & possibly start competing, back to ECPAC we go! They were very receptive to having us back, there was clearly no hard feelings. Lauren at the front desk is always kind & helpful. I feel like I bother her with questions all the time! The email communication is great as well. We're happy with our decision to give ECPAC another try. It seems that they're always striving to improve which I appreciate. It's funny because one of the reasons we left (too many classes) is the main reason we returned!

Our story -- We were looking for a Hip Hop dance class for our 5 year old, and this place was referred to us by a friend. Our first season, we were new to the "dance world" and a lot of learning but find it enjoyable for our son who love to dance. It really showed his joy in dance. Fast forward to us staying another couple of seasons, our son is now 7 year old and our other son who is 8 also expressed that he wanted to join, so we had him join too! It was a great experience for both of them to experience together in which they will remember forever. They both showed their personality at the show which was also encouraged by Mr.Cruz. To add, I had the experience to volunteer in the backstage multiple times in the show. I could not be more impressed on how the backstage was run by Mr.Cruz. I heard encouraging words and really showed his passion to put on a great show to showcase the talent the he believed these performers have. I have expressed feedback to him, and he respected them and made changes when necessary. We thank Mr.Cruz for his passion in dance and for being part of the Brentwood community.
