This is the best motorcycle shop in the valley. My dad bought a motorcycle way back in the 1970's from the Wilson's when it was in Fresno. After they opened in Madera my dad bought another bike from them. My daughter bought a bike from them, and we get all our bikes serviced there. The Wilson family are the nicest and as honest as it comes. Tyler Wilson runs the service department, and he is great. They try hard to have your bike ready for you even when you don't have an appointment. The drive out there From Fresno/Clovis is nice if you go the Friant way. Even if you did not buy a bike from them, it's worth taking it there for the service. Despite costing less than the "Big Honda" dealer in Fresno, the "family" treatment is why I go there. read more

I live in Fresno and I used to take my 06 wing to Wilson Power Sports in Madera for tires, Once I tool it there the brake lights had a broken wire. I took it to them to change the centerstand to a ride off one because I had a bad knee and could not use the regular. It took the so called mechanic about 2 hours to do it. it is about a 30 minute job. Both the wheels have centermatic balance system on them, but they put wheel weights on the rims when they changed the tires. Took it there for tires, brakes and to bleed the brake and clutch system. They charged me 3 hours labor at $145 to bleed the brakes. about 500 miles later the brakes locked up. Took it back to them and was hit with another bill for almost $1300. Nothing was ever wrong with the brakes until they worked on it, the brake system on a Wing is complicated and I truly believe what they did when they tried to bleed the system messed it up. There was a recall on the master cylinder but they said that part was covered under warranty. read more

Wilson's went far above & beyond to get me onto the motorcycle I wanted. Short version: I wanted a 2020 Goldwing DCT Bagger. There were none in the whole of California. My salesman Jade was able to locate the bike I wanted at another dealer in Texas and worked a trade as Wilson's had a bike the other dealer wanted. Jade said this was the first out-of-state trade he had ever done. Wilson's sent an employee to Texas to trade and trailer back my new bike. Wow! I ordered several accessories to have them installed on the bike before I picked it up. I live several hours away from the dealership and would be riding the bike home so I was hoping everything would be ready to go, and except for one minor hiccup, it was. The whole experience being welcomed upon arrival by Jade, taken back into the shop area to meet Robert the service tech and have him answer a few questions I had about the technology, filling out all the paperwork with Samantha and then riding off into the bright afternoon. was simply the best buying experience I've ever had from any dealer. I had the best buying experience at Wilson's. I purchased my second set of CRF125's for my wife and sons girlfriend. I will start by saying I have purchased from Clawson in the past and spent thousands (many) in the parts department restoring motorcycles. I bought my first set of 125's from Clawson, only to regret it after dealing with Wilson's. Michael was a huge help and amazing salesman. This place is ran like a motorcycle shop should run!! Honest people, excellent price (yes they beat Clawsons price over the phone, without bickering, and I've never spent a dime with them) and just a great experience! My husband asked me to write this review... he's never ever cared about giving any review before in his life so you know this is a special circumstance. He and our friend were looking to purchase a couple of bikes for the kids. Wanted to pay cash, no finance. They called countless stores looking for an out-the-door price so they could pull out enough cash before going. EVERY place they called jerked them around and said they don't do that and can only talk money after they come in. Payton at Wilson's said, "Oh yeah no problem! It'll be X dollars." Simple as that. When they arrived after a 3 hour drive, it was the exact price stated on the phone... to the penny. Plus Payton was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience at Madera Honda Suzuki was horrible compared to their reviews. I have taken my bike twice and both times have been very disappointed. 1st time: I took my Honda 450 for service and ended up with a stripped bolt which wasn't accounted for by the service members. Moreover, they even said they had "no record" of my bike even being serviced there which is ridiculous being that I CLEARLY TOOK my bike there. 2nd time: To save time, I decided to take my LTR 450 for a "no start" here. I ended up wasting $400 with claims that it was a "no spark". I felt like I wasted my money as I opened it myself and realized it was a cracked piston. Not to mention, my fenders were horribly scratched when I went to go pick up which is crazy being that I take care of my bike. Save your time and money and drive somewhere else. read more

Kyle is the man!!! Took in my fury that I bought there because I noticed some leaking it was covered under warranty but my warranty just expired the last month! He fixed my bike up no charge! Also took it in another time because my bikes idle was off... he checked it out and fixed it for free! All it needed was cleaning of a part I have no clue lol! Took it in today for its 8k service and needed it done today! He got it done early and ready for me as soon as I got off of work! Not only do they sell you a bike they also take care of ya! These guys are great and they went the extra mile to get me out of a jam. I was doing an off-road ride near Oakhurst with Stewards of the Sierra when my bike went down and the handlebars got bent. It was barely rideable, which was a problem because it was Saturday and I would need to ride it home four hours the next day, when all the moto stores are closed. So I got in contact with Bob Wilson. When he heard my predicament, though they didn't have the part in stock, he managed to dig one up for me. In a few hours my bike was rideable again, they performed the service professionally, and the cost was very reasonable. They have a growing selection of goodies for riders of all kinds and if they don't have what you are looking for onhand, they don't have any issue finding it for you, ordering it and like everything else, selling it to you for a fair price. My buddy and I have been shopping for some little bikes to add to our family's collection. After some investigation we found that These SSR's are pretty cool specially considering the nice price point. We went round and round with other dealers not willing to talk about the out the door price before we drove 2 -3 hours and other dealers adding huge freight charges to the total price of the bikes. I called Wilson's and spoke with Payton, he was super friendly and right to the point letting me know what we would be paying out the door without any of the run around. Once we got there everybody was very friendly and helpful and we paid to the penny what we were told over the phone. I highly recommend this dealer even if you have to drive a little out of your way.
