I will never go anywhere else for picture framing. Chris is phenomenal. Not only is he personable,…read morehe is very passionate and knowledgable about what he does. I found for the quality of work and materials the price to be very reasonable. Chris framed an anniversary gift of mine and did an outstanding job. The frame and picture look like they're meant to be together. I also really liked the gallery. I'm going to be going back to look at some of pictures he has framed for sale. He also has a bunch of sports memorabilia that would make a great gift. Overall 10/10 experience. There's really no reason to go anywhere else on Long Island to get anything framed.

I went to Gallery 25 on 2/1/25 to have some vintage baseball cards framed. I met Chris, who is a…read morevery friendly guy and will talk your ears off. Chris told me that this would take 2 weeks to complete. If by 2 weeks, he meant 10 weeks, then it was 2 weeks. No matter how many times I called, nobody EVER picks up the phone, so I had to keep going in to his shop (I live 25 minutes away). I asked to have pictures of the unfinished product sent to me before the work was completed to make sure I liked it, and everything was the way I wanted it (spacing, borders, colors, etc.) After 8 weeks, I finally got an email of the pictures, and it was wrong so the layout had to be changed. Finally, after 10 weeks, after the changes, I picked up the frame. Then, I gave him much more expensive cards ($2,000) to frame and told him that this can't take 10 weeks. He assured me that this time it would only take two weeks. I told him that this frame had to be the same size as the last one since I would be displaying them together. I called after 2 weeks to see if it was done, and as usual, nobody picked up the phone, so I left a message. I said the same thing as before. Make sure you send me pictures before you seal up the frame. Of course, nobody called me back, I called 4 more times that week, left 4 more messages...not ONE call back. Then, suddenly, I get an email that the frame is done. I went in and picked it up, brought it home and noticed that not only was this frame bigger than the first one, but the borders/frames around the cards were MUCH bigger than the first ones, so the white borders of the cards could not be seen. It made the cards look much smaller. They do not look like real baseball cards; they look like imitations and copies that I've seen online. The spacing of the cards in relation to the engraved plaque was off as well. I emailed Chris again (since there is no point in calling), and he told me that he was NOT going to redo the piece and it looked just fine to him. He didn't even want to hear what the issues were. It could have been a small fix. I would have even been willing to keep the larger frame but at least change the borders around the cards to they look real. Maybe it looked fine to him, but he is in the framing business, not the baseball card business. It was not what I wanted or asked for. You can see the difference in the 2 pieces. One has a slight orange frame around the card for a nice hint of color, while you can still see the white borders, and the other where the white borders are completely covered up and there is a dominating large gray frame around the card. The two look nothing alike. I was going to sue him but it wasn't worth the filing fees, or my time for $230, which I never even got a receipt for since I paid cash. So, if you want to wait 4 times longer than it should normally take for your merchandise to be completed, have your calls ignored, have zero communication with who is doing the work, and have them make their own decisions as to how YOUR items come out.... then this is your place.

This is my go to framing space for the customer service and disposition Patrick lends to his professionalism. I had no idea how to frame a complicated a piece and he guided me to exactly the perfect frame to make the pieces oh so eloquent. I'm very happy with the work and though the price is steep it is not higher than other framers. Frames are imported and local artisans and of an amazing quality and that is what you pay for. Literally hundreds of mats and frames and presentations to choose from it is daunting but Patrick synthesizes the piece into a perfect phrase matching the frame to the art creating an aura of perfection. I need a framer I can trust completely, and Aiden and his team deliver every single time. He has handled all of my framing for multiple art exhibitions across the country, managed plaque orders from out of state, and even expertly repaired the cradle of a 4×4 foot wood panel I built, a delicate job that required real craftsmanship and confidence, also with framer and abstract painter Katy. Nothing is too complex for this team. What truly sets Mantra Framing apart is the full creative ecosystem Aiden has built around him. His team includes skilled professional painters and photographers who are genuinely fluent in their artistic media. Together, they bring an exceptional eye for color. Their recommendations always complement and elevate the artwork rather than competing with it. Beyond the quality of the work itself, the experience of working with them is second to none. They are consistently helpful, supportive, and communicative, with honest and realistic lead times you can actually plan around. The depth of expertise here is unmatched. Mantra Framing has been in business for 27 years, and Aiden himself has over 32 years of experience in custom framing. That level of mastery is immediately evident in every piece they touch. The quality, the care, the artistry, and the customer service are all best-in-class. I look forward to many more years of collaboration with Aiden and the entire Mantra Framing team.
