Not only does the center have a great pool but also 2 water slides, diving board, a splash area, and water rock climbing wall. The different areas of the pool is divided by water ropes and there are lifeguards assigned to each area to ensure the safety of patrons. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas if you want to read or take a cat nap while there. There is a picnic area and also a small playground and sand volleyball if that tickles your fancy. The bathrooms were spotless and had showers and changing areas. Due to the event being private we had catered food but there is a concession stand to buy snacks and food while at the center if need be. This is a great place to bring the whole family for water fun!

Maybe going during the middle of the week when people are at work helped. My kids loved the big pool area with all the fun tools and toys. They also likes the slide, but I would suggest they have a lifeguard who is comfort with kids and telling them to get in line be there because the poor kid who was there was not at all. I thought the price was good for non-residents. A little high, but I get it. I liked that they didn't care about you bringing food in and had plenty of grass, shaded spots to sit with my kids. The club's members range from singles, couples/partners, young families, older families, empty nesters to retirees! It's a place for everyone! The Polo Club is something between a neighborhood pool and a country club. It's friendly and welcoming so no snooty attitudes allowed here. The club no longer has staff, it's member driven with volunteer and/or donation efforts throughout the year, in addition to club dues. The MVHPC has so much more to offer than just a pool membership....there are fun things like winter and summer platform tennis leagues, hiking trails, card nights, kids movie nights, pig roasts, derby day party, Christmas dance, karaoke....etc. In 2020, we added pop up parties with live local music on the terrace (BYOB) and it was a huge hit with members. We have been members since 2017 (wish we had joined sooner!)....I don't know what we did before we joined. We love it!

Updated Review:…read more We've been YMCA since 2016 and overall have been happy. They do a good job of keeping the place clean and updated as much as they can. I appreciated that they have tried to add more classes with only one room and the gym. They have made a cycling room, which I hear offers great classes. They also added a midday yoga class, which is great when the kids are in school. I would like more daytime classes then evenings because that is better for my schedule. Childwatch is usually not busy, which is great. I do not use it anymore so I'm not sure on anything specific for childcare these days. Youth sports are affordable and the directors do a good job of making sure the kids are having fun and playing fair. It's nice they have a pool, but the schedule is hard to understand of exactly when open swim is. I also wish they would have a slide, like Coffman or something fun for the kids. The new director and new fitness director are really doing their best trying to improve the West Carrollton YMCA. Overall happy to be a member just wish they could make the place a bit bigger.

The director gave me the tour and she was very nice and helpful. They do honor the silver sneakers which give seniors with Medicare supplement insurance a totally free membership. I also learned not all locations honor the silver sneakers. When you are a member you can visit most other locations but not all. Lebanon Ohio y only honors their memberships. This was the first place i toured and i was interested.

I attempted to cancel two memberships over a year ago with this club. We were made to believe that you has to send in paperwork, via actual mail. This was done for both accounts in the same envelope. The club canceled one of the two and then proceeded to change the email that all account info was sent to. After paying off a credit card that I assumed had nothing coming off of it, it was noted when I started getting calls about a single missed payment that they never canceled the account. Yes, should have noticed the monthly, this account was void of any mo that additions and I just made payments to get it out of Biden interest rates. 11 months of payments, zero payment confirmation emails, zero phone calls, zero times into the gym. Club solution: screw you, you owe us for one more month or we won't let you cancel. I have all of the paper work filled out and dated, receipt of the letter sent. LA fitness is crappy gym that has nearly no new additions and is ran by incompetent kids
