My child has a cavity in his front tooth. Told them his previous dentist had sealed them but since we moved and it chipped off I wanted it sealed again. She scheduled me for a clean to get a look at it. After the two hour waiting, the dentist guy told me " a 2 year old teeth should never been drilled and have a sealant, that I should let it rot out because it'll fall off since it's his baby teeth" that was it for me to know to go back to his old dentistry because let's think about it, Yes let's have my kid teeth rot in the front where everyone can see and have Gum diseases like gingivitis and periodontitis. Abscesses that allow infection to enter the bloodstream and spread to other areas. Then I was like " that's it?" And the lady assistant tried to reassure me he didn't mean it in a bad way and that her kid has cavities all the time and how it wasn't bad. Concerned of potential damage to their permanent teeth that were starting to hit together in front, I got them in with Dr. Lucas. He was incredible. First, he knew when to start, which meant waiting a year to not start too early. Then, when the time was right, he put them both in an expander, top braces across the front, and a reverse headgear. Sounded intimidating at first, but my kids were so resilient and pros in no time. In less than 6 months, both kids' bites were corrected and no longer hitting. They're on track to get their braces off soon! So grateful to Dr. Lucas and the team for their expertise, friendliness and patience to 2 young boys, and saving those permanent teeth from getting damaged. They'll have a 2nd set of braces when they get older, but now they have room to grow and their bites and smiles look amazing!

The staff acknowledges you with a friendly attitude from the front of the building to the back that sets the atmosphere.
