Word of mouth is always the best way to find a doctor. Besides having Dr. Emanuel as the primary doctor, there are two PAs and both are excellent. Wayne Tamborelli is one of the most hardworking and empathetic PAs I've had the pleasure of seeing. Depending on the time of day, you may have to wait, but most times, it's not more than 15 minutes. They are up-to-date and their "bedside manner" is excellent as well. I've been going to see them since they opened and have always gotten the answers I needed. We are fortunate to have such a facility and doctors in Nashville.

I had laparoscopic surgery for unknown terrible abdominal & pelvic pain, and they discovered my abdomen was covered with Adhesions & my organs were twisted together!! I had trouble with my birth control & had to switch a few times. They were understanding, caring, compassionate and helpful. The last time I was there, I had a very successful IUD removed (after 7 years). One year later, I was back HOME at the Coast & pregnant..... That's when I found a new doctor. Dr. Boyd - if he's still there- was the best. Absolutely the best, by a mile! Outstanding in his field!! I do not know about new doctors to their practice. I wish I'd met Dr. Tammy Woodard decades ago!!! I have never, ever been treated with such kindness, sensitivity and compassion by ANY doctor in my 59 years of life. Dr. Woodard made what has always been a humiliating experience very easy and gentle. She was especially kind and understanding when I told her about my infertility, the seven heartbreaking miscarriages I went through that ended in childlessness. EVERY other doctor, male and female, that I've ever seen has given me the "oh, that's too bad" brushoff. Her examination was thorough, gentle and easy to cope with. I felt very much at ease and understood. She answered questions and explained my treatment needs thoroughly, patiently and in easy-to-follow directions. I won't dread another visit to Dr. Woodard and left with motivation towards looking after my health that I didn't have before I came. The staff is great and their care is personalized to you instead of making you feel like just a body on an assembly line, to be treated and pushed out the door as quick as possible. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Woodard and this practice. I highly recommend them to any woman seeking care - and THANKS!!!

The doctors are ALWAYS late to the appointments, what's the point of having an appointment if I still have to wait 35+ minutes every single time. The dr I was also seeing came off as she didn't care and always said "it's up to me" when I would ask for her opinion (bc she's a DR she knows more than me) which was frustrating, it came off as lazy. I came in for an MRI one day and literally waited over an hour after my appointment time. The physical therapy DR I had also upset me, I felt as the care wasn't genuine and she made me feel like I was taking up her time, she would tell me to do something and then go do paperwork or any other work, and I'd have to wait on her after I finished because she was busy doing other work. I get she had things to do but maybe pay attention to your patients when they are right in front of you. Please save your self the headache and go somewhere else.
