Did NOT enjoy my visit with Juan Reinoso. I've been very concerned about a couple of things and he…read morewas in such a hurry to get out and go home he basically ignored every single concern (I was the last patient of the day). I told him I had a Pap smear last year and that OB recommended I only need one every 3 years, yet he insisted anyway. Completely blew past all my concerned and seemed bored by my presence. Absolutely will NOT visit him again. I was anxious to get some help and find some answers, and was completely blown off. 90% of the staff I met was no joy, either... the only reason I gave two stars was because Renoso's nurse was a JOY. She was the only kind person I came across in my visit. Unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the rest of the rude staff and doctor.

I saw Dr. Juan Reinoso and I declined a pelvic exam at my visit and requested a female provider. Instead of respecting my decision, I was met with dismissive behavior, frequent interruptions, and a refusal to allow me to fully explain my concerns. Shortly after exercising my right to decline the exam, I was discharged from the practice. This felt retaliatory and deeply unsettling, especially as a pregnant patient seeking routine care. I did not feel respected, heard, or supported, and the interaction left me feeling gaslit rather than cared for. Patients should never be punished for asserting consent or advocating for themselves. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider to anyone who values respectful, patient-centered, or trauma-informed care.

I am new to the area, and out of all the doctors and midwives I had talked to, this place was definitely my favorite! They listened to my concerns, helped me with my birth plan, and really let me be in control over all my options and decisions. They helped guide and prep me for the natural unmedicated birth that I wanted, and gave me plenty of information to take home and look over. Pregnancy and delivery can be an overwhelming experience, but they made it so much easier. When it came to delivery, I wouldn't have been able to follow through with my birth plan without them. They kept me going when I felt like giving up, and they made sure that they did all they could to keep me and the baby healthy. I am forever grateful for their hard work and patience

I still feel new to TOL as I just found them Jan/Feb. I found out in November that I was pregnant…read moreand went the "normal" route of going to an OB in Daytona. After having the typical office visits and finding out how much my high deductible insurance was going to cost monthly with them and their unwillingness to work with other payment plans, I looked into other birthing methods. I won't lie, the price was the leading factor. However, once I found out there is a birthing center near me I KNEW I had to check it out and I'm so very glad I did. My boyfriend wasn't as keen on the idea but was open to meeting them because he knew how excited I was over it. We met with one of the midwives and she more than answered my long list of questions. She reassured him as well so that he became excited at this experience also. I haven't given birth here yet but I'm down to bi-weekly appointments now with baby due mid-July. I've meet all of the midwives at DeLand except for Kaleen but have an appointment set up with her for later in the month. Everyone has been great so far; it's so opposite from the typical hospital visit and I love that. The atmosphere is so much better than being at a hospital. My greatest worry? That I DON'T end up giving birth here for some reason.

I didn't find anyone at the OB's office who cared as much about me as she did, so I came to Winter Garden OBGYN just in time to find out I was expecting my first kid. I can't say enough good things about both Dr. Texier and Dr. Elms. They both were very perceptive to me throughout my pregnancy and answered all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Texier delivered my baby girl, and I don't think it would have gone as smoothly but for Dr. Texier's very clear instructions. Thank you so much, Dr. Texier! Their staff are also just as caring. Special thanks to Lily, who was always a friendly face and walked me through the process whenever something was being done. Tammy, the office manager, also helped adjust my office visits to fit my schedule, as well as addressed a clinical issue I had during a blood draw. The office itself is gorgeous and physically appealing. It makes sense since the building itself is also brand new. The reception area has a little Keurig for coffee, as well as a mini fridge for water and juice boxes. I will continue to go to Winter Garden OBGYN. They've officially earned my trust.

I had to go through 2 years of IVF and when I came back I was labeled high risk. They then advised 25-30+ ultrasounds! I declined ONE ultrasound and was discharged from being a patient. Dr. Texier didn't even seen me once and didn't have the courage to call me. The PA said it's Dr. Texier way or the highway and there is no questioning her authority. Emily is smart, proactive, offers excellent patient education, and she seeks out guidance/second opinions from her Women's Care Florida colleagues as needed. I have no doubt that I am in good hands with Emily. I am so grateful I was directed to her. Note: Women's Care Florida offers a variety of services to include imaging.
