Do not hire these guys. This is, unfortunately, our 4th year with them. We would've used someone else this year, but it turns out we signed a two year contract last year - our own stupid mistake. Over the past few years they have mowed over a garden hose, an extension cord and several dog toys. We try to clear the yard before they come, but their schedule is erratic. Never on the same day of the week, and sometimes once a week or every two weeks. We never know and they will never tell us.
Yesterday one of the mowers hit one of the pipes to the pool filter, cutting it open and creating a pretty big leak. Luckily I was home and ran out to turn the pump off. We had to have someone come and fix it or we couldn't use the filter. I was so peeved that I couldn't talk to the mowers, so I called and left a message with Willy. He showed up this morning and asked me to let him know how much the repair cost, so at least there's that. This afternoon I talked with my neighbor about it. He also uses Willy's and has been very disappointed with the work. read more
