What a mess it makes, but their final cleanup has always left our yard markedly neater than it was when their trucks arrived that morning. Consider it a given. Consider also the peace of mind we're given by have a written estimate, citing each tree's contribution to the total cost, specifying the implements required, chipping and haul-off costs and risk factors, if any. I've had "estimates" shown me as no more than a jocular "We'll get 'er done!" Limber Tree's is at the opposite end of the trust spectrum...and if they end up spending less time/mileage/equipment than first envisioned, we've seen those savings siphoned right back into our pockets. The job quality couldn't be better or more safely performed. We don't opt for stump removal, but what remains is each left as a clean, level face, cut as low to the ground as possible. They could serve as firm bases for whatever one does to decorate stumps, or even as picnic tables―but only if you're very short. I can hardly be more superlative: From start to finish, our experience with this firm commands a solid string of fives.

I have many old pine trees that shed huge limbs in the winter. He came by and assesed the situation and recommended that I take care of two trees that were dangerously 'crotched'. I also needed stump grinding and tree removal. He worked out a reasonable estimate which he allowed me to pay in installlments and began the job. It was all done in a very professional manner, and my house in now safe from being crushed in the next huge wind and snow storm that seem to be occuring with climate change in the offing! I also bought firewood from him, which he sells by the truckload which equals 2+ cords, you can negotiate to have the wood stacked as well. I recommend him highly and he workds within a 100 mile radius of woodstock where he is based.
