I went here due to me having some stomach pains and i wanted to talk to the dr in person. They told me that they are unable to see me due to rise in covid and they only have "2" dr. They charged me $80 for a phone call where you can hardly hear the dr and they are charging extra for me to get blood drawn. So do not ever go here if you are sick. They will charge you $80 for a phone call and not help at all. This place deserves to get shut down. read more

If you are looking for a doctor, please look elsewhere. The employees are unprepared, disorganized, their customer service lacks empathy and knowledge, and they charge you for any and all requests. So here are a few examples I've had with this provider. 1. I made an appointment several days prior for a skin tag removal on my back. I Can't reach it to do it myself. I took a 1/2 day from work to go in. I paid for my copay and saw one of their doctors. He came in and asked what I was in for. I told him a skin tag removal. He said he'd have to look in the back to see if they had what I needed. He came back and told me he was sorry, but they don't have what I need, but I can get it at a pharmacy. I made this appointment several days prior and explained why I was coming in. They didn't look at the scheduled appointment prior to my arrival to order what they needed. I lost a precious half day from work and still had to pay for the visit. 2. I requested my records be sent by fax or to pick up at the office because I'm moving to another state in less than ten days. I gave them my temporary fax number and I was told they would do it. I didn't receive one fax or phone call, so I called the next day to inquire about the process. I was told that I didn't receive them because it's a $25.00 fee to obtain my records and, it's a seven to ten-day process to get them. No one explained that the first time and they didn't call me back to explain. They just ignored my request. I'm extremely displeased and I hope my review will save someone else time and money. There are better-operating clinics out there. Keep looking. read more

It's always so nerve-wracking to find a new PCP, especially when you grew up with the same one almost all your life. With so many doctors in the area and having no clue on where to start searching, I was relieved when several of my neighbors recommended Dr. Willy Pezzia's practice... a recommendation that truly paid off! I called the office and was able to schedule a same-day appointment with Family Nurse Practitioner, Linda Olsen. New patients are given accounts to the practice's online portal, where they can expedite the new patient process and fill out most of their paperwork. The office is beautiful - very spacious, well decorated, and clean. It's honestly the nicest doctor's office I've ever been to! Everyone I came in contact with, from reception, nurses, and check-out team, was friendly and welcoming. Linda, herself, was also a delight: personable, easy to talk to, gentle, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. Having grown up with asthma, I thought I knew everything there was to know about my annoying little affliction, but Linda broke out some pamphlets and pictures to help me understand it even better. When she had treatment recommendations, she left it to me to decide what was best and most comfortable for me, and at the end of my visit, she thoroughly explained all the medications she was planning to prescribe me. The only downside was the wait time in-between seeing the nurse and then seeing Linda. Since this office operates on appointments only, I was hoping this process would've been a bit more streamlined. Aside from Linda, Dr. Willy Pezzia has a great team of nurses and PAs on-board. If they're anything like Linda, I would feel comfortable with any of them. The practice accepts most major insurances (their website says they do not accept: Amerigroup, BC/BS HMO, Bravo, Evercare, Health Spring, Humana Gold and Medicaid), and their hours are 8-5 on Mondays, 7-5 on Tues-Fri, and closed on weekends. If you live in the Katy area and are in search of a PCP, I definitely recommend giving Dr. Willy Pezzia or any of his associates a try. read more

Recently switched from Kelsey Seybold Clinic when my Dr retired. After some research We switched to Dr. Pezzia. Great experience so far. I love his bed side manner and he took a long time to just listen and get to know me. Since then I have recommended him to many of my family and friends who are looking for a non cookie cutter assembly line Dr office. His front office staff and office manager are the Cherry on the top! Looking forward to using his office for years to come. read more

The front office made too many errors as regards my prescriptions, and I always ended up doing the legwork. After Dr. Pezzia sold his practice and became an employee of the company that bought it, the service got worse. I would always have to chase them down on lab results, prescriptions, etc. It was very poor service. I stopped seeing Dr. Pezzia more than almost a year ago, and guess what? I got a reminder about an appointment to see Dr. Pezzia in my e-mails twice. How clueless can they be? I have not been a patient of his for almost a year now. Dr. Pezzia is easy to talk to and helped me tremendously. I am 10 times better after seeing him. He is always helpful and straight forward with me. He is not going to sugarcoat things. He is straight forward and will tell you what you sometimes don't want to hear. I love seeing him and he is always extremely helpful. Always on time, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. My elderly mother had 2 appointments a few months apart & she did not have a productive experience either time. Very difficult office staff, & Dr. Pezzia was not attentive or thorough at either appointment. Both visits my mother came home crying because of how she was treated. read more

First and foremost, I honestly hate that I'm having writing this review because Dr Pezzia is a fantastic Dr. but I have no outlet to vent my frustration. Dr. Pezzia is an great Dr. He took his time really getting to fully understand the health issues I was dealing with, and nowadays, most Drs will spend no more than 5 mins with you and keep it moving. But the fact remains his front office employees are absolutely terrible. This is the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a Drs office in my entire life. Those imbeciles he has running his office are all idiots, and cannot get simple things like a basic referral request correct. God forbid my health issues were life or death. I went in for an office visit over 6 months ago, and have still not had his office actually follow through in getting my referrals in place. Messed up faxes, no returns calls, wrong dates, wrong procedures requested, no follow through at all, wrong information given....this list of ridiculous errors just continues to grow. At this point, I know I will never return to this office, and honestly that really sucks because I liked this Dr, but the fact remains that if you can't get the front office part right, and take care of your patients, then stop practicing medicine or get a completely new office staff all together. Every single one of them are straight idiots, and should not be employed. I hope the Dr. has a chance to actually read this review and takes serious action, by holding his office staff accountable for their screw ups. If my employees continued to fail to follow through, they would be out of a job. For those looking for a new Dr.....fair warning....if it's life or death or even something serious, please do Yourself a huge favor, and look elsewhere. My mother saw Dr. Pezzia, he accused her of destroying her liver with alcohol when she was in stage 4 - Ovarian Cancer! Dr. Pezzia was rude, insulting and bullied my elderly mother. Thank god we went to Methodist hospital where was appropriately diagnosed. Unfortunately by this time she was in stage 4 and passed away within 12 months. If Dr. Pezzia had just listened to her, ordered the right tests - who knows. His negligence is unconscionable! read more

I have been coming to this doctor for about 7 years now and have always had a good experience. Linda is my doctor and she is always good about refilling my prescriptions and answering all my questions. I usually need an early morning appointment and they open at 8 which works for me. The nurses are great also. I am a baby when it comes to needles and they always make me feel comfortable. I would recommend coming here. The office is small, clean, and quiet. read more

Don't bother. Obnoxious personalities in the office staff. Horrendous communication skills. New patient relocating from another state, has an appointment. This office was made aware of the criticality that this stroke patient get started on post stroke assessment and care. Appointment was made. 2 days before the appointment an out of state issue with the medicare advantage program of the patient was raised by the office. ABSOLUTELY NO agreement to cancel the appointment was agreed upon. I spent a whole day getting my mothers social security address changed, so I could get her medicare program changed over to a local provider. At the end of the day, when I contacted their worthless personnel to verify which of the local providers that they did work with, I'm advised that they took it upon themselves to just cancel the appointment.. not even an inquiry if I'd like to just cover the costs myself, but they just cancelled it and wasn't able to restore it.. so now, I have an elderly mother, who had a stroke just 2 weeks ago, and less than a week of medication left from the nursing home that gave her some therapy prior to moving to Texas. The words and expletives I'd use to describe this business would be inappropriate for yelt.. No I wouldn't recommend this "business". Not even to persons whom I might dislike. I'd only wish that some day, when these creatures have their own ailing relatives, that they don't have the misfortune of having to deal with a facility like the one they run. read more

I have been seen PA Renee, she is great, listens, talks a little fast, but she is very good explaining and answering my questions and concerns. The reason why I don't give it five star is because their front desk staff needs to improve their customer service skills. This is my 3rd year with Dr. Pezzia, and I cannot imagine changing PCPs. He's helped me through some very difficult medical procedures and always takes time to fully examine my overall health and any issues that are plaguing me at the time. Medicare hasn't always afforded me the best of physicians, but Dr. Pezzia is the best I've ever had. read more

I saw The NP Raymond for the first time and gave me samples of medication to try it first to see if works for me. The office staffs is friendly, the place is awesome nice and especially Raymond listens to what i need and take time to discuss my health. read more

I DO NOT recommend this office. I used Amy Frank for almost a year until she gave me a misdiagnosis which caused an enormous amount of anxiety for not only me but my family and friends. When I went to another doctor I was told she was a bit "premature" in giving me that diagnosis. She told me I was at risk of having a stroke at any moment based on results from a cat scan on my brain. The neurologist (and other doctors, and even nurses and lay people) said the results were very common place in people my age and did not mean I was even close to having a stroke. I was taken off the Plavix immediately. Their front office help is no better in trying to communicate between them and the doctor!!!!!!! read more
