We found him purely by chance. We were looking to lease a place and I contacted him through an online site. He showed us the property and we really liked it, but unfortunately it went to someone else. My wife is very picky, but Johnny was very patient with us gave us all the time in the world to find the right place. This was just a lease, but he treated us like we were buying a house. This is in stark contrast to the last agent we worked with who kept complaining she'll only make $120 for lease over and over and over again. We extended our lease one time, but the rent kept rising and we decided to move again. Naturally we contacted Johnny again. While looking at different rental properties, he asked if we have thought about buying a house. We told him we didn't have anything close to the required 20% downpayment. He told us about FHA and its low downpayment requirements. He crunched the numbers for us and showed for a few hundred dollars more per month, we could own our own home. We asked him to recommend a mortgage broker and he named Babak at Charter Pacific Lending Corp. What a fantastic crew. With the help of Johnny Azodi and Charter Pacific Lending Corp, we now own our place. We could not be happier.

Khoi takes his fiduciary responsibility to his clients very seriously and can be unsolicitedly self-sacrificial to secure a deal. It goes without saying that he is an excellent communicator. While many might look for an agent they find easy to talk to and get along with, one of Khoi's greatest superpowers is his likeability and rapport with other agents. He's able to ascertain crucial information from listing agents that I've only seen working with Khoi. Having Khoi as your agent gives you such a competitive edge. He has modern takes and knowledge on the current real estate market instead of relying on antiquated sales approaches. I can't recommend him enough.

Khoi met every "silly" question with respect and thoughtful answers. He eases the typical first-time buyer nerves by empowering you with knowledge that gives you confidence to make well informed decisions. Beyond this, I appreciated: - Honesty: Khoi cares to find a house that fits your goals and never pressured an offer. He steered me away from unideal locations and helped me "grade" listings. This helped me calibrate as I didn't know initially what is considered "good". - Personability: Khoi's natural friendliness and level of professionalism is a winning edge in an area like OC, where multiple offers are common. While structuring an offer you are comfortable with, he remains a great partner a listing agent would want to work with. - Elite Network: As someone who jokes "trust no [fish]" (but also follows this), I independently vetted his recommendations for lenders, inspectors, etc. via multiple methods. Each connection proved to be top-tier and available quickly, which made for a seamless, quick close. I've already told Khoi that he will hear from me long after closing, as I'll be poking him with more questions as I journey through this new chapter. I am very grateful for this experience and highly encourage anyone to take the leap. (PS if you are paranoid like me, and sus from too many good reviews, just have that convo! I am so glad I did.)

That was our experience when recently completing a 1031 exchange in the South Bay. In Mid-2024 I was entertaining a property exchange and was referred to Tony by his brother who has been my property manager for many years (BTW, I highly recommend John as well). Our property in Palos Verdes Estates was occupied and in need of updating to get full value at the time. Shortly after consultation, Tony provided a Fair Market Analysis and a Plan of Action for listing that I thought was aggressive and quite honestly optimistic. To my pleasant surprise, Tony negotiated tenant vacancies, Marina scoped and coordinated a full interior upgrade, and they staged and listed the property with an offer and closing by year's end. Additionally, they assisted with lenders and 1031 exchange agents that were competitively priced and all worked well together. It all went off like clockwork!!
