It stocks a good range of sports apparel where all the local public schools can purchase uniforms for soccer, baseball, football or cricket and the same goes for sporting clubs. There's a large wall display of footwear to choose from and a good range of sizing not only in footwear but also clothing. Champs also stocks bags, sports equipment such as cricket bats and balls, soccer balls, footballs....you get the picture. Prices are quite good considering there is no competition within cooee.

Champs is reasonably well priced, with a few good sales floating through the store. Champs also acts as a supplier for local sporting clubs and schools and I can advise the locals to get your orders in quickly to get your clothing in on time. Champs also is a VenueTix outlet so those who like physical tickets for their big events can buy in store.

I've picked up a couple of good deals on the bargain table in the past. A couple of pairs of Asics at roughly half the price, that sort of thing. Good socks, shoe inserts, and so on. This place is great for that stuff. I'm not terribly interested in their other products, to be honest. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful, too, so that's a bonus.

I get this vibe from Sports Power at Firle, which has a number of factors working against it. Firstly it is a small sports store, they don't have a lot of stock and the prices don't really blow your tighty whities up your butt crack if you catch my drift. They do have a shoes specials table out the front, but again the 'bargains are not 'amazing'! Considering these things alone, one would think they may struggle to make ends meat, but they are also right outside a KMart and just down the road from Campbelltown Sports which is a well established and much larger sports store. I really just don't get it!

Being drafted into the NBA, holding an official Spalding NBA basketball, wearing an NBA jersey, heavy barbells to use at home, soccer ball, tennis rackets, and a volleyball. ...2 out of 7 which I could obtain at AMART ALL SPORTS. Oh well. Guess not all dreams come true. I just wished there were more American sports clothing on the racks. I remember when I went to America, their sports stores were the most beautiful I've ever seen, because they had so many different NBA players and NBA team jerseys that I was lifted up to heaven. In AMART, I don't think my eyes found any, maybe it's hidden on the far wall. The creepiest part was my horoscope that day said that I would be somewhere that involved sports. At arguably the best sports store in Adelaide, you'll find a lot of everything any active sports athlete needs in his/her life. From workout clothing and big balls, this is the perfect place to stop in for a gift, whether it be for you or someone else! Last time I was here I bought 1.5kg barbells for my elderly Father last Xmas, which he appreciated.

Pricing is a tad high but still around Recommended Retail Price or a bit less. Assistance from the staff though is always good and they offer good explanations behind the products to help you find exactly what you are looking for. I bought a pair of sneakers from here and they have lasted very well. The store person was able to suggest a pair based on my podiatrists recommendations and find my size within just a matter of seconds (something that generally takes a while at other stores).

Also, he measured my shoe size, I thought I was 8.5, but no, I'm a 10, deplorable I do not have little lady like feet in the slightest which I pointed out to my salesman and he replied "it's because you're tall" what a gem. Huge range of products, lots of fitness wear I would kill to have in my wardrobe, or I could pay for them. I don't feel uneasy in here because it's so big, you get to have a browse before any sales assistants pounce on you which is great because I hate being asked if I need help before I even know if I need any help. In the old days there were two sports stores, the only two that any respectable (and fashionable) sportsman would go. One has closed (and is currently a ladies underware store I believe....nice) and the other is still going, stronger than ever in Bailetti Sports on Grote. Now located in a far mor emodern store that its old digs, Bailetti's has everything you could ever need for pretty much every sort you could dream of (although I didn't see any curling stones when I was last in). The Prices are pretty standard, but you can come across a super special or two in their clearance room or between seasons. In terms of selection and variety there are others around of a similar, but due to Bailetti being an SA Icon, it will get my vote every time!

Easily located on Grote, there is plenty of street parking (don't go Friday night though) and it is a big store with heaps to choose from. They have a VIP card which always gets you discount, friendly staff, the store is never that busy and there is a sale section in a separate room with heaps of bargains for a range of ages, sexes, sizes and tastes. I like their range of soccer boots and the people that serve you know about the boots and find ones that fit and suit you best. Bailetti is a great sport store, with heaps of equipment as well. They can also order things for you and customise products with numbers, names etc. And they cater for teams as well, sorting out strips etc.
